I am so satisfied with this light fixture. I bought a pair so that they could flank my medicine cabinet. Not only is the chrome sparkling but the lamp shade sparkles also. The shades are made with a shear ribbon that has a slight sparkle to it. Not disco. Just ever so slight that it just looks beautiful!

We ordered the used version of this and although the box was marked as AC3831 that was stamped over AC3331. The AC3331 is a completely different sconce.

Amazon handled the return, but I have had to order it elsewhere based on this poor experience. If the correct one ever arrives, will update post.

Also note the dimensions says this is 12+ inches from the wall, but that cannot be correct based on the all the photos we have seen. (7/2013 they are NOT they are nicely proportioned taller than the dimensions suggest, and do not protrude 12 inches)

Update 7/19/2013 After being back ordered and cancelled across 3 separate websites, a pair arrived. Too late to be used, so they had to be returned.

As a product, they look quite good, but as far a quality goes, the Pottery Barn units we installed have better quality (at almost twice the price). So, are they worth it? For the price, definitively, assuming you get the correct units and are willing to put up with back order issues.

My egg silk swag lamp is so awesome. I searched stores and on-line for a swag lamp because my ceiling doesn't have an electrical connection. I had to have a swag lamp. I mounted the lamp over my desk and laptop areas. It was easy to hang as it's very lightweight. The fabric shade and the classic shape is very pleasing to the eye. It has turned out to be perfect for my needs and takes a compact fluorescent bulb which is just right for my workspace. I would have no hesitation about using this in a dressy or classic decor area.

This was my first electronics kit. I was worried I'd be too rookie at soldering and mess this up since it's got so many components, but it ended up working fine. For anyone new to soldering, just take your time, have a clear well lit space, and read up a bit on soldering to make sure you do it right. It's surprisingly easy.

Fine tuning took me a couple hours of turning the settings half a degree this way and that way. It works fine without fine tuning but I'm picky and I wanted it as perfect as possible.

The picture doesn't show it but this also comes with a small black box with a transparent cover to put this in for whatever installation you might use it in, and a sensitivity dial that can be put somewhere more accessible than the circuit.

I'm not too fond of the connectors it came with to wire up the lights power and audio, but they work fine.

This is a good electronic project. Not only do you get to sharpen your soldering skills but you can have fun looking at the schematic and seeing what exactly happens. My only complaint is that my Mid Freq doesn't work. I am have tried debugging it but I haven't figured out what is wrong! but I am going to give the company the benefit of doubt in that they didn't send me any defective components. the other frequencies work fine although they are very sensitive sometimes the LED's stay on without blinking when play some of my Dubstep music. Overall it does what I want and it was fun putting it together!

Three weeks after I ordered this lamp, it arrived at my house with the glass shade broken. After talking to three different people on the invoice, they agreed to send me a replacement shade. Two weeks later that arrived--broken! I took a picture, and they agreed to send me another one. That one arrived intact (again, two weeks later), but it is almost impossible to get a new shade on, as you have to flex the metal without breaking the glass. As I was trying to perform this task, under the pressure of the metal, the glass shade BROKE! They can keep their money-I'm not wasting any more time with them.

This is an attractive lamp and is nicely weighted and balanced. It's also a good size for a bedside table. The lampshade is substantial and gives off a good amount of soft light. The pull apparatis is smooth and works well. The lamp I received had chipped paint on the base which showed base metal beneath. The metal frame that holds the lampshade was crooked. Not crazy about the paint over base metal, but had it not been chipped and had the framing been straight I would have kept it. It's going back. Quality not what I expected.

Regretfully the recipient did not want the antique brass base, but preferred polished brass. We are replacing two lighting fixtures in our kitchen. We already purchased a fan fixture & were looking for complementary lighting for over the kitchen table. I found this style in a different brand but the specs were too large for the space. After doing some homework, I found the Yosemite Sequoia which was similar to the fixture I liked & looked as if it would fit nicely in the space. Amazon had the lowest price for the item (which made me a little suspicious) but I was willing to give it a buy. The item shipped immediately and was the last one available for quick delivery. First, the item ships in it's original box which was slightly damaged during transit. Overall, the lamp survived the trip. Second, there were minor imperfections or scratches in several areas of the metal & the edge of the glass was slightly rough. The glass bowl had a bit more swirl than I expected. Third and most important is that the wattage was supposed to be for three 100 watt bulbs but the lamp came with three 60 watt bulbs. We were specifically looking for 100 watt bulb fixtures since we already have a light dimmer installed. If it was up to me the light fixture would be going back (and it still might...) The electrician has already been called to install both fixtures so it's a corundrum whether to keep the pendant light as is, return it to Amazon & get a replacement with 100 watt capacity as advertised (and waiting 2-4 weeks for delivery & possible more frustration if another 60 watt fixture is sent out), or order it elsewhere for more $$$, quicker shipping and possibly better quality control (if it exists...)

The box is damaged enough that I would have to find another box to return the light in, not to mention pay for return shipping. Otherwise, the lamp is attractive and I would buy it againjust maybe not at Amazon (low price vs quality control..).

Hardware stores no longer stock these brackets. I used them years ago for shelving in my dads garage and wanted them for my own garage. This was the only place I could find that had them. Just as easy to use as I remembered. I only wish they were sold in a quantity smaller than 36. Either way great product!

Have been looking for a neutral drum light for dining room and not finding exactly what I wanted. Took a chance with this and am more than thrilled! Color is perfect with my oak furniture and cream woodwork. Shade has a soft, linen texture when illuminated and appears darker than beige, more of a yellow/tan. The diffuser fits tighter than some drum lights I have seen and looks better than I could have imagined! My biggest concern involved the 3 light stem color choices. I prefer black and it is not available. My intention was to spray paint it so it would match my curtain rods, but much to my amazement, the antique bronze is dark enough to pass for black.

I installed it myself in less than an hour and can't wait for my husband to come home and see the great job I did. Also would like to add that this shade has a bit of a retro feel and I am using it in a decor that is more Danish Modern, but you could use it in just about any setting. I give this shade and pendant two thumbs up!!!!

This is just what I was looking for. I would suggest getting this size over the smaller version as this size is perfect to fit over a standard dining table. This does come with a bottom diffuser but not a top one. This however is not a problem. It looks great once installed. The color of mine is pretty much like the image.

** Remember this is only the shade and you will need to purchase the light stem** I highly recommend the P5199-20 3-Light Stem. I think they make a one light version but this would not be enough light at all.

When they say "high intensity", they are not kidding! This is my new favorite flashlight. I have several other flashlights from various brands like Fenix, 4Sevens, and Nitecore. This one is my favorite. It's second in brightness only to my Nitecore TM11 (which is twice as bright but much chunkier). It absolutely blows my mind the way they keep pushing ths technology, making the flashlights ever brighter, smaller, and more efficient. It's like holding a secular miracle in your hand. Unlike my TM11, the low setting (60 lumens) on ths one is dim enough for great room lighting, although if your eyes are already adjusted to the dark it may be a bit much. I love the blue glow of the switch, and the way you can turn it off if you want, by locking the flashlight. Lights up my entire back yard, even on some of the lower settings. It really is jaw-dropping. It heats up quick though, so I wouldn't expect to run it on the highest setting for too long before dimming it down to cool. If you need high intensity for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time, then you'll probably need to look for a bigger light. You can run an 18650 if you want to go rechargeable, or just rock 2 CR123s. Decent looking light, in my opinion. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the clip might pop off a bit too easily, and there's really no other good way to attach a lanyard that I can see. Overall, this thing is awesome. Highly recommended. Unreal.

This light is very bright and has excellent runtimes using a 3100mAh battery. Build quality is top notch.

Beam of light is flawless with no artifacts and good spill, very good throw for the size.

In my experience the light never gets hot.

It's got a clever battery indicator were the surrounding of the switch will blink and tell you the battery voltage after you switch it off.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that to really turn it off you have to either lockout the light or unscrew the tail cap slightly to break the contact, other than that this light excellent and the only thing that could make it better is if it had Nitecore PD system IMHO.

Nice overall light, but mine was defective. The lock-out feature did not work properly. If you chose that mode, pressing the button 3 times quickly did NOT unlock the light. Light would not turn on until the batteries were removed and put back in. Should have worked better for the price.

Another fine light from Nitecore. I own several Nitecore lights ... EA4, TM15, MT40, and EX11. The quality of these lights is unsurpassed.

The EC25 is an outstanding pocketable search light with an incrediable reach and a super clean white beam profile with lots of spill perfectly white hot spot that will throw for an incredible distance. Keep in mind this is a search type light in a very compact package with plenty of output options. The user interface takes a little getting use to but is very well designed and is one of my favorite UI's. Nice spacing on output levels with a very long runtime on lowest setting. A rechargeable lithium ion 18650 battery is definetly the way to power this fine light. Excellent overall light and I am very happy to own it .... Highly Recommended.
