The shade is very beautiful. We've put it up in the formal dining room and it's actually pretty big and elegant. The fabric is pretty too. True to color on website. Don't forget the light hardware, this is just the shade!!!

Have been looking for a neutral drum light for dining room and not finding exactly what I wanted. Took a chance with this and am more than thrilled! Color is perfect with my oak furniture and cream woodwork. Shade has a soft, linen texture when illuminated and appears darker than beige, more of a yellow/tan. The diffuser fits tighter than some drum lights I have seen and looks better than I could have imagined! My biggest concern involved the 3 light stem color choices. I prefer black and it is not available. My intention was to spray paint it so it would match my curtain rods, but much to my amazement, the antique bronze is dark enough to pass for black.

I installed it myself in less than an hour and can't wait for my husband to come home and see the great job I did. Also would like to add that this shade has a bit of a retro feel and I am using it in a decor that is more Danish Modern, but you could use it in just about any setting. I give this shade and pendant two thumbs up!!!!

I bought this shade for my basement over our large pub table. We have recessed lights so I bought a can light converter to make it a pendant light and hung the shade. It makes our basement look very elegant and modern. It's a little spendy, but it was the only one I could find online that was a large drum shade. Nice neutral color that would go with any decor.

The pendant system works so well in my family room. Its perfect for a contemporary look. This piece looks very similar to the resto hw at 1/10th the price. Try this out, you wont be disapointed. This item comes in 3 different colors. I got the beige.

This is just what I was looking for. I would suggest getting this size over the smaller version as this size is perfect to fit over a standard dining table. This does come with a bottom diffuser but not a top one. This however is not a problem. It looks great once installed. The color of mine is pretty much like the image.

** Remember this is only the shade and you will need to purchase the light stem** I highly recommend the P5199-20 3-Light Stem. I think they make a one light version but this would not be enough light at all.
