We bought the 48 in. fixture for our master bath a little while ago, and we were so happy with it we bought the 36 in. model for a guest bath. Both fixtures, imho, have the look of uncluttered, simple elegance.

Both orders arrived quickly (though one came with a broken alabaster glass bowl looked like it got clobbered in transit but the bowl was quickly replaced, with no hassle), and installation was a snap.

Very pleased, overall.

I have had one of these for 1.5 years and just ordered another. They are very expensive, but are well designed.

Pros:

Beautiful finish

Heavy quality feel

Heavy duty attachment bracket

Single attachment point can be located on stud for extra strength

Plastic rings make roll slide easily

Very easy to change roll

Ball on end of hook does not slow rotation of roll, but is good a preventing the roll from slipping off.

Cons:

These things are expensive! Close to $100 with shipping.

It only comes with the hook in one direction. I have installed both of mine so that the roll is pulled into the hook when removing paper. I have not tried it the other way where removing paper would pull the roll toward the ball and potentially out of the hook. This could still work, because the ball is fairly good at preventing the roll from coming off, but if at all possible, I would install it so that the roll is pulled into the hook instead of out of it when removing paper.

I have noticed that the plastic rings are not made of a wear resistant plastic and over time they wear down, but this does not seem to affect much, as the roll still slides well. Use of an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene plastic would have been better.

My parent's old plug-in sway light gave out after 25 years, and we were looking for a replacement. We found these and thought what a good price. Some of the product specs said they were plug-in swag lights and others didn't. When we received these lights, the size and style was nice, but they weren't plug-in swag lights. We had to buy a light kit to make into plug-in swags. It still was a good buy regardless.

Best desk lamp I've ever owned that's saying a lot for an accountant who sits at her desk all day. Lamp is really bright & well-balanced. It has a 2-setting switch, which allows the user to dim the light a bit unlike the less expensive versions of this lamp. Also, although it is a bit hot due to its halogen bulb, it isn't hot enough to double as a space heater, as a few previous halogen desk lamps I've used. The only thing that makes this lamp less than perfect is that I've owned this lamp for over 2 years (consistent use of at least a few hours each day a a few more most nights) and the bulb finally died. Unfortunately, the screws that holds the glass cover over the bulb were already stripped. I'm not sure how this is possible, as I've never previously replaced the bulb. Anyhow, it'll have to go in the trash now, making it a $75 lamp, which only lasted 2 years.

I might get another one though, since I spend so much time at my desk.

As a Halogen light the unit is unquestionably bright. That is one of the big positives of Halogen bulbs. What impressed me most was the counterbalance design of the device. The lever and gears that allow for the easy and smooth lowering and raising of the lamp is ingenious and I would love to know the history of the design of this piece.

This is my second Halotech II lamp (three if you count the one I ordered that arrived broken, apparently a factory defect). I really like the halogen light and the counterweighted design that lets me easily adjust the lamp as I work without adjusting springs and tighteners.

There is very little information packaged with the fixture, including what type of bulbs it takes on the fixture itself there was a sticker stating that it takes up to 60W GC16.5, which is a candelabra-base bulb. The manufacturer's website lists this fixture as taking standard E14 socket bulbs, which is apparently a European standard intermediate sizing and probably explains why this fixture has a difference socket type. Throws plenty of ambient light, is sturdy, attractive and easy to install. I would definitely buy it again.

We bought two of these lights for our kitchen. I really liked the rounded curves and the low profile (it hangs only about 5" from the ceiling). It's modern, but with a softer look because of the curves. Hubby was able to install it pretty easily, despite the lack of instructions. Luckily, hubby was also able to identify the bulbs needed (as others have reported, no bulbs are included, and the instructions don't identify the bulb needed) -it's the skinny base candlelabra incandescent (not halogen or LED). Each socket can take up to 60 watts, which you'll need. We tried 40W, and it wasn't bright enough for task lighting in the kitchen.

When we got this light, we immediately saw that it would not work in the location we had in mind. We never took it all the way out of the box. When I initiated a return, Amazon referred me to the seller who promptly emailed an offer to keep it or return it for a 30% restocking fee. I didn't notice that in the return policy when I made the purchase. I never tried to install it or even see how it lights up. The size is the reason we couldn't use it.

I would never have ordered it had I noticed the restocking fee because you really can't determine how it will look or fit until you actually have it onsite.

These solar lights are what i was looking for. They are brighter than my whole neighborhoods solar lights. These solar lights have a special solar panel. They charge in cloudy and sunny conditions. They give off a good amount of light. Only wished that the battery was larger(600mah), it should be at least 1500mah but u can always replace them with better ones. The design of the glass bulb is superb and the style is wonderful. Great buy for the price.

Nuvo 60/2023 Arm Down Wall Lantern with Clear Water Glass Review

I like this light and would it buy again. The light is cast aluminum and just heavy enough when assembled to meet my expectations, no plastic. The four leaf like decorations that face down are held in place by one screw each and move a little when touched. I used a slight amount of black rtv silicone sealer on the back edges out of sight and now they don't move at all. When mounted it is very rigid and solid. The bulb socket is ceramic which is what I like but don't over tighten the bulb or you will break the socket. The bottom of the light has a small drain hole and I assembled this facing the back. This light can be ordered in three sizes, my light is the smallest; the 16 and 1/2 inch tall model. The mounting base on this light is 4 and 1/2 inches wide and 8 and 1/2 inches tall. My house uses mount blocks on the wall and I will need to buy longer blocks. I like the Lights of America 2526LED-LF3 bulbs for my porch lights. Four watt bulbs, more than bright enough for me and cheap to run. The water glass helps hide the fact that they are not regular bulbs. Regular bulbs would how ever look the best. If you like to garden hose your lights directly under pressure it would get wet inside but drain, probably not the best light for you. The old front porch lights will now be used for the back porch.

Great price, easy to install. Quiet and does the job. Has five blades and takes the smaller light bulbs, so have some of those on hand.

I mean, super easy to install and I did it solo without any skill at all installing electrical ... things... instructions were actually very helpfull and not like those at IKEA!

Has a nice clearance so above my bed not a problem. SUPER quiet!

It also helps to use one of those decorative installation plates for between ceilng and fan base. Stabilizes it and helps reduce noise even more. They cost like $6 at Home Depot.

Very nice ceiling fan but two of the light globes were broken upon arrival. Quick trip to Home Depot to buy four new globes as I was unable to find a Westinghouse match to the originals, which were much nicer than the ones I had to buy. Oh well, fan works great, easy install but I would also have preferred being able to use regular CFLs instead of the candelabra things.

When they say "high intensity", they are not kidding! This is my new favorite flashlight. I have several other flashlights from various brands like Fenix, 4Sevens, and Nitecore. This one is my favorite. It's second in brightness only to my Nitecore TM11 (which is twice as bright but much chunkier). It absolutely blows my mind the way they keep pushing ths technology, making the flashlights ever brighter, smaller, and more efficient. It's like holding a secular miracle in your hand. Unlike my TM11, the low setting (60 lumens) on ths one is dim enough for great room lighting, although if your eyes are already adjusted to the dark it may be a bit much. I love the blue glow of the switch, and the way you can turn it off if you want, by locking the flashlight. Lights up my entire back yard, even on some of the lower settings. It really is jaw-dropping. It heats up quick though, so I wouldn't expect to run it on the highest setting for too long before dimming it down to cool. If you need high intensity for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time, then you'll probably need to look for a bigger light. You can run an 18650 if you want to go rechargeable, or just rock 2 CR123s. Decent looking light, in my opinion. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the clip might pop off a bit too easily, and there's really no other good way to attach a lanyard that I can see. Overall, this thing is awesome. Highly recommended. Unreal.

This light is very bright and has excellent runtimes using a 3100mAh battery. Build quality is top notch.

Beam of light is flawless with no artifacts and good spill, very good throw for the size.

In my experience the light never gets hot.

It's got a clever battery indicator were the surrounding of the switch will blink and tell you the battery voltage after you switch it off.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that to really turn it off you have to either lockout the light or unscrew the tail cap slightly to break the contact, other than that this light excellent and the only thing that could make it better is if it had Nitecore PD system IMHO.

Nice overall light, but mine was defective. The lock-out feature did not work properly. If you chose that mode, pressing the button 3 times quickly did NOT unlock the light. Light would not turn on until the batteries were removed and put back in. Should have worked better for the price.

Another fine light from Nitecore. I own several Nitecore lights ... EA4, TM15, MT40, and EX11. The quality of these lights is unsurpassed.

The EC25 is an outstanding pocketable search light with an incrediable reach and a super clean white beam profile with lots of spill perfectly white hot spot that will throw for an incredible distance. Keep in mind this is a search type light in a very compact package with plenty of output options. The user interface takes a little getting use to but is very well designed and is one of my favorite UI's. Nice spacing on output levels with a very long runtime on lowest setting. A rechargeable lithium ion 18650 battery is definetly the way to power this fine light. Excellent overall light and I am very happy to own it .... Highly Recommended.

This product is one that shows that it has been made by the hands and that the artist took their time on it. If you purchase this item(which comes from "korea,seole")you will see and know that they did not do this item by machinery in any way. It is all patiently hand crafted. I was wondering to myself as it took a month to arrive what is taking so long!
