My egg silk swag lamp is so awesome. I searched stores and on-line for a swag lamp because my ceiling doesn't have an electrical connection. I had to have a swag lamp. Amazon.com was the only place where I could find the lamp that I needed.It's beautiful and hangs lovely over my dining room table. I have a dimmer so I can have lighting for dinner, informal meetings, etc. It's a must buy.

I was looking for a swag that was more casual when I ordered this. This lamp is so very Elegant it will not work in my home but will make a great Christmas present for my daughter in law, as it is her style and it is so well made, and beautiful

This product would have been better with a pull chain for off/on. The switch is close to where you plug it into the wall. This is very inconvenient when you want to turn the light out.

I mounted the lamp over my desk and laptop areas. It was easy to hang as it's very lightweight. The fabric shade and the classic shape is very pleasing to the eye. It has turned out to be perfect for my needs and takes a compact fluorescent bulb which is just right for my workspace. I would have no hesitation about using this in a dressy or classic decor area.
