I installed these a deck lights on my 33 foot sailboat, replacing the two burned out halogen bulbs. These things are incredibly bright! It's like daylight outside when I have them on. I've only used them a couple of times but based on the quality, expect them to last. I will update my review if I have any problems but so far, so good.

Even with the unit set for maximum sensitivity, many times I can walk right by it at night and it doesn't detect my motion and turn on. Sometimes it does, but not usually. If I put my hand up near it, it will usually react. I installed this near a back door so that if someone were at the back door it would light up for security reasons, but it rarely does so.

I put 5 of these lights up by myself, although I was replacing old lights. These lights look great on our house, and work just fine. I noticed on the front porch where my wife had some christmas lights, the motion detectors did not work properly. Once the christmas lights were taken down, the motion lights worked as they should. I am very satisfied with these lights,they look great,work just fine,easy to install.

I like the look of the lamp. I don't like the shoddy quality of the product. I had to cut the felt from the bottom so that I could tighten the nut on the lamp in order to keep it from spinning when it shouldn't. It's sloppy paint job on the base doesn't lend itself to calling it a quality product either for the dollars spent.

Absolutely love these instant pendant lights. This is well made and the shade appears vintage with a warm tweed surface. Anyone that has "can" lights and wants a change these things are the best thing going. I had a can light over my sink and couldn't get any light where I needed it at counter level. I simply installed a pendant light (that one has a smaller glass globe than this one) and it's perfect. I was leary, of course, because of screwing it in where the lightbulb goes and that weight on the wire but there's no trouble at all. Matter of factI've now replaced 5 can lights with these instant pendant lights. All you need is a step stool to reach the outlet and you're good to go!! No electrician needed and NO it does not look sloppy or corny no one will know you took the easy way to get attractive but good lighting!

My whole theme in my work area is purple, yes, I'm a purple freak. I have had a lot of comments from co-workers that it looks strange with no purple, they ask me why I got it. Hmmm...one would assume if it has grape in the title it would have purple, but they are red and green.

This desk light is amazing.

The light have different temperatures fitting your eyes and most importantly very bright.

Also the 3 USB ports integrated onto the light works flawlessly.

I have my 2TB HDD, iPhone, and USB Thumbdrive connected to the lights to my MacBook Pro and had no problems what so ever.

The only con I would have with this light is the lack of spread.

My desk is pretty large (it can fit about 4x 23in monitors) and it can only spread about 1/2 to 2/3 of my desk.

But it is still bright. 1200 lumens is very powerful and enough for a desk work.

Now, on to the camera.

Dont expect a DSLR quality camera and that is pretty obvious.

But the camera is still full HD giving enough quality to scan papers, project objects/papers onto projectors, and even using them as a web cam.

It comes with a disk that has the program installed to use the scanner mode, photo shooting, and etc.

The unique feature is that it can record videos. Again, this is not a pro camera, recording at 1920x1080 60fps.

Still the images are clear, voices are clear, and I had no problems.

FInally, the main body.

With all these features packed, the light stand it very light.

And the arm and the light itself can be rotated and elevated.

This is a helpful feature for people who does tons of desk work and uses the camera for education.

(Remember those old overhead projectors used in school? Well, that should be replaced with THIS)

You can use the camera to show students what you are doing without leaving your desk!

I mentioned about the only con but if I mention a another, that would be lack of love Mac OS X.

The program installed onto the disk only can be used by Windows and any Mac webcam application (macam, etc) does not work.

Owned this product several months. This light is great for the price, definitely exceeded my expectations. I didn't buy this lamp to use the built in usb ports or the camera and it's still great. The lamp is good for big desks that need lighting over a large area. You can rotate the light section ~260 degrees along the axis of its length, letting you direct it to the left or right of the lamp, and also tilt the lamp to extend out further and lower. I usually operate it in the mode that has all its LED's going which provides the most neutral lighting experience. I am also happy that the lamp is quite bright. I don't usually use the highest brightness mode, and it's nice being able to crank it up if I need extra brightness. I would definitely recommend this product.

We recently purchased the Avant Eco ceiling fan which we love but unfortunately it doesn't come with a light kit (for almost $500 you would think it would). Emerson doesn't have very many ceiling fan light kit choices and I really wanted to dress up the fan and make it stand out. I searched all over the internet and considered several "universal" light kits including a few funky chandelier light kits (which I wish someone would make more of). I am pleased that we chose this kit b/c it has a nice smooth finish and is the perfect size for the fan nice and substantial without being overwhelming. It comes with energy efficient light bulbs which are nice and bright. I ordered the brushed steel finale light kit and it matches the ceiling fan perfectly. Be careful that you order the right kit for your fan though because they don't come with a bunch of generic finales like some kits do just the finish you order it in. The only negative thing that I have to say is that it came with a really ugly piece for the pull cord which we are replacing. Overall, we would definitely buy this kit again. In fact, I am actually planning to buy another one to go in our guest room on another emerson fan to replace the swirled kit on it. This one is really classy and beautiful. Finally, we received it SO FAST it was shipped and delivered in about 4 days which was 3 weeks sooner than the estimate emailed to us! Thank you!

Very attractive lamp which looks slightly art deco to me. Excellent source of light takes 2 x 100 watt bulbs. Looks sophisticated. I've given 4 stars rather than 5 because the shade was dented in a few places due to insufficient packaging. This was also the case with the matching floor lamp I bought previously. Fortunately, in both cases, the dents were not too major and only on one side, so you can just turn the shade around, so they're not visible. I'd definitely recommend these lamps they're well packaged (apart from the shade) and arrived promptly too.

I would have given this purchase five stars, but the lampshade arrived slightly dinged in a few spots--not badly enough to bother returning (especially considering the discount), but a little disappointing.

It is well made and pretty, but something is wrong with the steel stand, different from what is shown in the instruction. so the bulbs are not totally concealed by the shade when you are standing closer to the lamp. it is also a large lamp.

I like the lamp the way it looks and the fact that it takes up no table space. The decorative stone on it, however, is heavy and the telescoping arm is not quite tight and sturdy enough to keep the lamp from "listing" downward because of the extra weight. I will not be able to extend the arm of the lamp much because of this. Overall, the look of the lamp is attractive. I do recommend not attaching it directly to the wall, rather, it should be attached to a piece of wood that is attached to the wall this gives the lamp more level stability against the wall as the screws attaching the lamp to the attachment plate are a little cheesy and don't really serve to stabilize the overall weight of the lamp. It's an attractive product, just not very well built and probably not worth to price to most.

The lamp looks nice and sturdy in the picture; however, in reality it is kind of cheap looking and flimsy. I ended up returning the two that I bought. Too bad Amazon charges you for shipping even for poor quality products.

I had ordered a similar lamp from Home Depot. It was junk. I ordered this one, and for $95 it should have been, at least, adequate quality. It's not. First the posting on Amazon did not mention it came with a cord cover so I had to buy one for $16.99 (which I will return, but it's a hassle). When mounting the lamp on the wall, there was (so help me) about 3/16th of an inch for the small finials to grab the lamp. Those finials are all that's holding the lamp up. I had to do some wiggling because the posting did not give the measurement of the back plate that had to screwed into the wall. And when it was all put together, everything was crooked. It is in a kitchen so I left it. This is a $29 lamp, at best. When is America going to start making products again? China's stuff is getting to be awful.

This fixture is good for the money, but it could use better quality. maybe I just got a bad casting, but there were a few small "holes" which was more like a thin area in the casting. if it wasnt for this I would give it 5 stars

it has plenty of room to put a 26 watt CFL bulb in it. thats actually the main reason I got it.. my last fixture just didnt have the room for a bigger bulb

Nice looking and easy to install. Drill two holes in the mortar(one on each side of the brick), insert plastic inserts for the screws, install the baseplate and then lantern. A great buy too, which you can only find at Amazon.

I paid 16.99 for this and for the price it works well. I wouldn't pay much more than this bacuase you can get just about the same at home depot or lowes. When I bought it there was free shipping as well. The light looks much better than my orginal light from 1969.
