This is a beautiful light with shiny chrome and brushed nickel accents and it looked wonderful installed. However, even though it is LED it was not bright enough for our (windowless) bathroom. Very attractive lamp which looks slightly art deco to me. Excellent source of light takes 2 x 100 watt bulbs. Looks sophisticated. I've given 4 stars rather than 5 because the shade was dented in a few places due to insufficient packaging. This was also the case with the matching floor lamp I bought previously. Fortunately, in both cases, the dents were not too major and only on one side, so you can just turn the shade around, so they're not visible. I bought this lamp because it is large, has two lights and has a very simple, clean design that fits with the rest of my furnishings. I also got a much lower price from Amazon than from the two other places I found it on line.I would have given this purchase five stars, but the lampshade arrived slightly dinged in a few spots--not badly enough to bother returning (especially considering the discount), but a little disappointing.

I put two of these a the front door of a two story colonial home and they looked so nice I ordered two more for the garage.They are easy to install and have an expensive look and feel. They are of medium size so they look substantial but not big.
It mounts with the fairly standard X bracket that you screw onto the outlet box and then mount the fixture onto the two protruding screw studs.
The screw studs are about an inch long and they are designed to be adjustable to you can screw them in or out of the mounting bracket so that they only protrude about a 1/4" through the light fixture mounting plate.
For my installation when the mounting screws were adjusted they went too far back and hit the sides of the outlet box. I solved the problem by buying two 8-32 1/2" stainless steel screws and used them to replace the longer screws. When fully screwed into the back of the X bracket they protruded exactly right for the textured nuts that hold the fixture onto the bracket.
And while you are at the hardware store buy some wire nuts for 12-14 gauge wire (you need two per fixture) because the fixture does not come with any. The instructions also recommend you put some clear silicone sealant on the fixture mounting screws to make a water proof seal at the mounting nuts. They also recommend putting a small bead of caulk around three sides on the mounting plate (none at the bottom to allow ventilation) which is a must if the unit will get wet.
It probably took about 7 minutes to install each fixture. I used the new warm white LED light bulbs at are equal to 40W incandescent bulbs but use a fraction of the electricity and last for many years.

The quality of this lamp was disappointing. The bowl of the lamp is made of what looks like cheap grade plastic. The pole section of the lamp came in three or four parts. One of those parts had a defective thread, so that the section which was supposed to be screwed on top of that one would not screw in straight or even all the way. Overall, the product felt like it was too cheaply made for the price. I returned this product and received a refund.

the product works well and is fairly decently priced...it really does everything it's supposed to and i have no real complaints for the price.i just have a few things for potential buyers to note, as i thought it might help: 1.) it says it requires two 150 watt bulbs...i don't know if you can use less, but as a result of 300 watts of lighting, at full brightness this thing is practically blinding! 2.) on mine, for some reason, the brighter i have it the more noise it makes...yes, it makes noise...just a steady buzz/hum...but honestly, to most people it may not even be noticable, and perhaps mine is just a slight defect. 3.) note that the white part is plastic, not glass.

It looks good and with two 150 watt bulbs it is BRIGHT. However, per other users, the control (especially with the remote) is annoying: do I tap once, twice, hold down the button??? Dunno. Anyhow, my remote stopped working after a year (no, not even with new batteries) so I am trying to figure out how to get a replacement I recently e-mailed the company. From what I have been able to find, this is the only torchiere lamp available anywhere with the built in dimmer and on-off controlled by a remote. It is also the only lamp period where I have seen that particular type of dimmer remote built in. I have one in the living room and am always getting comments on how well it looks and works. It certainly is not a super heavy duty lamp but I find the quality more than adequate for where I have it.I also purchased one for the bedroom. Due to mobility issues and sometimes being confined to the bed, I find this remote controlled lamp to be perfect for me. If you have any friends or family that have difficulty moving around, you could not go wrong purchasing this as a gift for them.

While I am irked by the fact that they are made in China, I have to say they are a great value. They cost less than any one part that might have repaired the old Hubble wall packs that they replaced.They even included a new bulb. The housing is all metal and they have glass lenses that won't yellow with age.

Cheap Possini Euro White Flower 19 1/2" Wide Pendant Chandelier
Gosh, I love this pendant light! I give it 5 stars for style, quality, and overall satisfaction. It was a little tricky to install, so keep that in mind. We updated a heavy, beveled glass, dining room chandelier with this attractive, plastic, modern pendant. Taking down the old light and putting up the new one was a two-person job. One of us had to balance the heavy chandelier while the other disconnected the wiring from the light box. Mounting the new pendant light was not difficult, but one of us had to use the paint tray on the ladder to balance the pendant light (which is not heavy at all) while the other attached the bracket overhead and hooked up the wires. The screws that were provided for the bracket weren't exactly a precise fit for our light box, and it took a little more effort than we anticipated to get the screws to align properly. Not crazy-making, but a little aggravating. Make sure that you have a couple of different sizes of wire connectors on hand, as well. We had to rummage for smaller ones to fit the wires. The pendant comes with a roomy cover plate so that the extra cord can be coiled up inside. You don't need to cut any wires for installation, which is a nice feature. All that we needed was an electric screwdriver, a pair of needle-nose pliers, a tall step ladder, and a regular ladder. And, a little patience. This light looks so good when it's up that it is absolutely worth the effort. For someone with a little more experience at hanging pendant lights, this would be an easy installation. As far as cleaning it goes, I plan to use a feather duster to dust the tops of the petals and in-between the layers. It works well and looks beautiful with a dimmer and a fluorescent bulb made for dimmers.

I bought this light fixture at Lowe's for $30 USD. It was easy to put together...took about half an hour. Just be careful the directions you assemble the petals in, it's very easy to accidentally put them upside down. It looks great and puts off a ton of light. Really happy with the looks-nice and clean lines-not too fussy-bought this size and the 4 light for 2 separate bathrooms-never had installed lighting but the directions were easy to follow. I replaced that awful builder-grade strip lights and was taken by surprise that a box wasnt required since the wires rest inside the strip. I bought one of these for my desk in the Ikea store. The nickel finish looks very modern and distinguished, with a nice brush and depth to it. The lamp is very solid; the base is weighted enough that there's no risk it'll tip over no matter how you adjust the very flexible neck.
It takes standard lightbulbs; I have a swirly econo-bulb in mine and it works great.
The switch is a solid push-button right on the lamp head, much more convenient than halfway down the cord somewhere. The cord itself is plenty long enough. The lamp is made in China, in case you care; I don't, and it has survived a couple of desk/office moves without issues.
Overall a great lamp and I would certainly buy it again. One word of advice: it's hard to find this lamp in Ikea stores, and Ikea doesn't ship most of its items, but you might still want to cross-check the price; if you can find it at Ikea, you may well pay quite a bit less than here or elsewhere online.
