Our issue is thiswe have VERY high ceilings in our house, and at night it's hard to get the place illuminated enough for things like reading, crafts, homework, etc. Regular lamps don't help much unless we have them on very high tables, which is sort of ridiculous. And we've gotten a few floor lamps, but they are usually huge and decorative and don't do much to add illumination to the room.
This floor lamp is perfectit's VERY bright (easily the brightest lamp in our living room) but it's got a very minimal, sleek design and takes up barely any floor space. It tucked right into a little space between the couch and the end table, and it adjusts perfectly so that it illuminates anyone sitting on the couch and anything they might be doing. And even though the design is great, it's super minimalunless you are right in the area, you can't even tell there's a lamp tucked in there. I LOVE that. I hate that we have so many lamps in our house as it is, so having a lamp that does a good job but doesn't scream "hey, LAMP!" is perfect.
I love this lamp for crochet, especially late at night. I can adjust it easily without having to shuffle the couch and the table to make changes. And the adjustments stay once in positionthere's no "creeping lamp" syndrome with this. I hate it when you have a task lamp and it starts to slowly bend itself due to uneven weight distribution.
Finally, a floor lamp that doesn't look like it came from the "dorm room" section at a big box store or the "task lighting" section at the hardware store, but acts as more than home decor. The lamp actually LIGHTS UP things, and nicely.

This is an excellent floor lamp for an office or for use as a reading lamp in your home. This is a highly adjustable lamp that is tall enough to reach over your desk and your computer monitor and light up your work area with a nice white light that is ideal for reading or keyboard work. It can set beside or behind a chair and provide a nice lighted area for your reading enjoyment. The lamp requires some limited assembly and it takes literally only a couple of minutes to assemble the lamp with the dual headed Allen wrench that comes in the box. The unit is powered by an AC wall adapter that has a power cord that is 8 feet and 10 inches long. The power supply is rated at 100 to 240 VAC and 50/60 Hz and it is UL approved.
My video shows the easy assembly of the lamp for your information. The base of the lamp is a heavy circular disk that weighs in at 12 pounds and it holds the lamp upright and securely in place. The lamp is highly adjustable to allow you to orient it in any way you desire to get the optimum light onto the area you want to work or read in. I show most of the adjustments in my video including the 210 degree rotation of the lamp head. Keep the adjustment Allen wrench as you may want to retighten some of the adjustment points at some future date.
The light is a cool white light that is somewhere between 60 to 75 watts when compared to an incandescent bulb. It is hard to compare lumens as this lamp is a very directional light source when compared to the wider beam angle of an incandescent bulb. This LED lamp uses 8 watts of energy with a power factor of 0.5. That means that the lamp is consuming about 10.6% of the power of a 75 watt reading lamp bulb. Because of the lower wattage you will save energy and the LED lamp will operate much cooler than an incandescent or a halogen reading lamp bulb. The lens of the LED lamp is only a few degrees warmer than the ambient temperature of the room that it was in so the lamp is much safer for a reading desk lamp for a child's desk and homework area.
The LED bulb is not replaceable but it does have a 20 year life span and it comes with a 3 year warranty. I like this lamp and the crisp white light that it produces and I rate it as a 5 star item.

I've been playing with and using this lamp for days and have found many, many uses for it. It's hard to describe how many uses and "almost infinitely adjustable LED floor lamp" can have simply because the number of uses can be almost infinite as well. In the short video I made, the room was totally dark (as in pitch-black) and one can easily see the effect an LED will have in spotlighting any object or area.
The on/off switch is easily accessible at the top of the lamp. At three junctions the lamp pole itself is adjustable. The lamp head itself can swivel from side-to-side 210º and 180º up and down. This lamp is every which way but loose. Speaking of loose, when you go to assemble it make sure you're not shy when using the Allen wrench, don't be shy when tightening the lamp assembly to the base.

This is a high-definition, high-intensity contour lamp that can be used for many purposes. It would be especially useful for those doing close work such as quilting, architectural drafting, sewing, crafts, or model assembly. The base of the lamp is heavy and does its job in stabilizing the lamp, somewhat like the old-fashioned lamps that are now quite desirable, but hard to find.
I've "retired" a lighting source I was using to spotlight items I was using in video reviews because this one is so versatile and I can adjust it to any position I like. Once done, I can use the lamp in any area I want for normal lighting. I do like the LED lighting as it's more defined, brighter, and a much more efficient lighting source than halogen. I'm very pleased with this lamp and with the long-lasting LED this lamp will be around for years.

I developed a dislike for floor lamps when I was a kid because my mom was always yelling at my sisters and me and our playmates for accidentally knocking them over while we were running through the house. That shouldn't be a problem with the Contour LED floor lamp. The first thing I noticed about the product was how heavy the box was. Most of the weight of the lamp is in the metal base, which guarantees that the lamp can't be easily knocked over the bane of many floor lamps.
There was some assembly required, but it only took a couple of minutes, and a special tool is included for connecting the two pieces of the stand together and for attaching the stand to the base. The product description says that the lamp "can be almost infinitely adjusted to any position." That's an accurate description. With three hinge points along the stand and arms, it's possible to position the lamp at almost any point within about three feet horizontally or six feet vertically from the base. This kind of design gives far more flexibility than the swing-arm floor lamps that I've seen.
The LED bulb is very bright with a cool white light. My only reservation about the lamp is that the LED bulb is apparently fixed in place with no way to change it when it fails. The manufacturer claims a 20-year lifespan and provides a three-year warranty, which gives credibility to the claim. Based on my own experience with LED technology and the fact that the bulb remains cool, I can accept the long-life claim. I have an LED desk lamp with a similar type of bulb that's been running 10-12 hours a day for more than a year with no problems.
As furniture, the lamp is attractive enough to fit into almost any interior decor, and provides enough illumination for almost any situation where light is needed.

I was provided a Contour LED Floor Lamp for testing and review and was asked only to give my honest review, so this is what I found.
What You Should Know Before You Buy:
♦ This is a nice, modern looking adjustable floor lamp.
♦ It adjusts to a lot of different positions including as high as 6 feet up and the head can flip to point to the ceiling.
♦ It has a Bright LED bulb.
♦ The base is very heaving making it pretty stable, even with a long reach.
♦ It takes two hands to position in most cases, but the stiffness allows the lamp to maintain its position very well.
Detailed Review:
♦ Look The product came in plain looking cardboard box, but was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. It actually took me a while to get it out of the box due to the heavy duty packing material. You notice right away that the base is really heavy, surprisingly so, which is nice for stability. Assembly was simple with three screws using an included wrench. It looks like a modern style lamp with good length power cord. It appears to have a very nice build quality.
♦ Use and Performance I plugged in the lamp and saw that it had a nice, warm light that was very bright. The LED light didn't give off too much heat. I decided to try out the flexibility of the lamp by putting it in various positions. It is fairly stiff to move around, primarily to ensure that it stays in position, but could easily be positioned with two hands. You can fold it down pretty low where the lamp is a few feet off the ground, but the arm still sticks up pretty high. You can also extend it up to about six feet high. It twists and bends just fine and holds its position perfectly. One other nice feature is that you can flip the had completely upside down so that the light points up to the ceiling. The switch is solid and positioned right behind the light.
Conclusion:
Overall, the Contour LED Floor Lamp was a nice looking and a nice performing lamp. It has a good quality build and a strong, bright LED light. It can easily be positioned in a lot of different configurations. If you are looking for a modern looking LED floor lamp, this lamp is worth considering.
