When I looked at it on the ordering site, it appeared to be an oval, or square shade.

To my surprise, and somewhat disappointment, the glass shades are round, and a little

darker than what it appears to be in the photo. Also, the screw holes were not pressed

out properly, and my husband had to work harder than he should have to make the screw

start in the hole. They look fine mounted, but much more cheaply made than I expected

for the money.

I ordered these to go under the upper cabinets in my kitchen and light up the counter space. Installation was fairly easy. I did have to do some wire splicing/soldering since the 41 inch wires provided with the kit worked just fine from LED unit to LED unit, but were not long enough to go from one unit, through the cabinet above my built-in microwave oven, and into the next unit (a distance of about six feet.) That said, I was happy with the installation and with the clips, transformer, and especially the dimmer provided with the kit. The LED's give a warm light that goes from very bright (great for food prep on the counters) to dim for subtle kitchen illumination. The option to purchase connecting wires of different lengths on Amazon would be a good idea for this product. But they are available from Lightkiwi here:

After years of using other types of counter lights, finally small strips that can be dimmed, but do not get hot.

Lightkiwi responded to my inquiry with in a few hours about a defective light strip and after a few diagnostic suggestions, sent me a replacement immediately. After replacing one of the strips, the LEDs have been operating over four weeks continuously with no other problems.

Because one of the four light strips was defective, I might rate the initial product only 4 stars, but Lightkiwi's great service deserves a full 5 stars.

These panels are great and were easy to install. I didn't have trouble with the small screws but I have a set of very small screw drivers which were ideal for the job. If using a larger Phillips screwdriver it will be easy to ruin the screw heads. The parts provided allow you three options to install -lights hooked together, joined with connectors, or sent in different directions using the four-way connector provided. When installing the brackets be sure to leave enough room from the edges to install the connectors. I had to install mine at a slight angle to accommodate the connectors, but it doesn't affect the light. There are no installation instructions provided, but none were really needed. The provided dimmer gives an infinite range of brightness or dimness rather than just "high" or "low". A great purchase at a great price.

Bought the 4-pack thinking it may not be enough light, but these things are BRIGHT! I would have been fine with only 3 of them for my 76" workbench, but they use so little power it does not hurt much to go with 4.

Dimmer is a great idea, and you can also get a motion detector accessory. I was going to get a regular "tube" style fluorescent, but by the time I priced it out with wiring, switch, & bulbs this was not much more. It uses a lot less energy and should last virtually forever. It's also very compact and looks much better than fluorescent bulbs.

I really dig the unique look of this lamp. I just purchased a second lamp to display on both sides of my bed above my end tables. My only complaints are the cord that hangs from the bottom of the lamp hence the placement above the endtables to hide the cord. And the wall mount at the top of the lamp does not allow the lamp to hang flush against the wall but i suppose a proper mounting bracket from the hardware store could stabalize it. The nail i used is just not cutting it. It is not noticable if you are standing in front of it but if you are looking at it from the side of the lamp it sticks out from the wall a bit. Depends how anal you are. I am sure my husband could mount it better than I.

i had already purchased one awhile back. I have decided to redo my bedroom so I bought a platform bed. After debating I decided to go with two lamp lightings on each side of the bed and purchased a second one. they look perfect in my bedroom now. I love the way they shine when you turn out the overhead lights. They add that special touch I was looking for in asian theme and for special lighting in my bedroom. I was abit disappointed that the shade was not paper or silk ( I have a hanging silk latern) but when I turned on the lights, and stood back to take a look, I went "ah, ok, that will do just fine." So, yeah, I am pleasantly pleased with my two lamp lights. Thank you, Amazon, for having these.

This product is not the best quality, but it's ok. It's pretty opaque so it doesn't actually let through a ton of light, and the diffuser at the bottom just rests on these little ledges that are pretty noticeable, and it doesn't really rest on them evenly so there are little light gaps. The overall look is not one of high quality, but it's not horrible and it's fine for my purposes.

Once installed and assuming that it lasts as advertised, I'd give it five stars. I used the LED fixture to replace one of two fluorescent fixtures (containing concentric 8" 32 watt and 12" 40 watt bulbs) in a long mudroom with no natural lighting. The lighting in the mud-room is cycled a hundred time a day, but each cycle lasts only fifteen to 60 seconds. This is murderous on fluorescent bulbs. I got tired of changing bulbs every six or seven months.

The LED fixture clearly outshines the fluorescents that it replaced. I chose the "daylight" color option which turns out to be 6500 degrees K. The "warm" color option (around 4000 degrees K) would have been a better and more "natural" choice indoors.

My fixture came with a one page installation sheet written in broken English but it was clear enough to understand. I made a mounting template from the cardboard box that Amazon shipped it in. Basically you need three mounting holes comprising an equilateral triangle measuring 23 cm on each side. The electrical leads were labeled and the installation sheet said 'label "L" for live, "N" for neutral, "GRD" for ground wire'. Well, my ground wire was label "E", but we get the gist. Also, the circuit board clearly shows where the live (or hot), neutral and ground wires connect to the board. The three wires are co-mingled in more insulation creating a stiff cord. I split off the cord insulation freeing each wire so that they easily connected to the house wiring inside my existing junction box.

Conceptually, one mounts the unit by passing the screws and the screw driver through holes in the circuit board, the screws through the unit's base, and into anchors in the ceiling. This cannot possibly work. Firstly, aligning the unit with the anchors in ceiling is not possible (at least for me). Secondly, the length of a screw is shorter than the depth of the unit, so one would have to balance the screw on the driver as he passes it through the circuit board and the base on it way the anchor! A magnetized screw driver won't help because the screws are aluminum.

This is what I did: I pre-drilled the anchor holes in the ceiling using my template. Back on terra firma, I stuck some museum (aka earthquake) wax on the tip of my screw driver to hold the screws as I fed them through the unit. I gave each screw about two turns to mate it to its anchor. Then, I returned to the ceiling, connected the wiring, then pushed each anchor into its hole, then tightened each screw. Done.

And yes, I order another unit to replace the other fixture once those bulbs burn out!

The light was great, though a little too white for my kitchen. I was happy with this light until a few days ago, when it started to flicker. Now it doesn't work at all. I was about to order a bunch more for other spots in my apartment, at least it happened before I did.

Fortunately, Lighting EVER offers a 2 year warranty on this product. I contacted the company three days ago, and they responded by email, asking me for the order number. I gave it to them, and got no further response. Today I called them to follow up and they told me that I had to request a return through Amazon. When I found out from Amazon that this was not true, I called Lighting EVER back and read them my order number again. Their rep said he'd contact the order fulfillment team and send me a replacement. Hopefully I will receive a replacement promptly, but so far I am not impressed.

Having heard nothing since my last phone call, I called again and their rep again said they'd get in touch with the order fulfillment team to send me a replacement. He promised I'd hear back from him tomorrow.

I gave up on getting a refund, bought a new light from elsewhere, and contacted the better business bureau a few months ago. They closed out the review with no response from Lighting EVER. Now the bbb called me back, saying Lighting EVER has finally responded, but that they claimed there was no record of having interacted with me at all.

I would never buy a product from Lighting EVER again.

This is one bright light! If you need more light, you will not be disappointed. I assure you.

The light spectrum is still a little whitish, but this is for a walk in closet, so it is acceptable.

Initially, I did not figure out how to remove the cover to see the mounting points. I cannot find the information online or on it's manual. I forced it open, then found that it is supposed to be turned to open (the outer cover).

The mounting is the most tricky. It does not mount to my existing mounting strip from the old Halogen lamp. There are 3 mounting holes for bolting into the ceiling. Marking the holes are close to impossible and there is no template. I ended up drilling one hole and fixing the fixture before drilling the other 2 holes. The whole thing is very light so one screw is enough to hold it in place temporarily.

Overall, I am happy with it. The closet is a closed space and while the old Halogen gave plenty of light, it got very hot and dangerous if left on. I am more at ease with this light. It brighten up the whole space with a quarter of the wattage. Highly recommended.

I was concerned about the brighness of the fixtures as compared to the previous 52w double circuline fixtures they were replacing. I have had experience in the past where the claim of "xx watt equivallent" was greatly exagerated. The application I had was a room with two ceiling fixtures. I replaced one of the existing flourescent fixtures with this led and compared the two. As expected the LED was much brigher upon initially turning on the lights (while the flourescent warmed up), but even after several minutes the LED fixture was still noticeably brighter.

Another concern I had was the "spotlight effect" you sometimes get from LEDs. I wanted the light to be spread across the room, not just directed to the floor below the light. The fixture broadcasts the light to the sides very well.

Lastly, there were some written comments by others concerning the difficulty mounting. They have a small point here, but the challenges are easily overcome by not using the mounting hardware provided. It only took me about 10 minutes to remove the one fixture and mount the new one. Some tips are:

1) use a sharp pencil and mark the 3 holes' positions on the ceiling directly wile someone else helps hold the fixture against the ceiling where you want it

2) use a good wall/ceiling anchor. I like the type that actually screw into the drywall/plaster. If you make a small pilot hole for these anchors you can be very accurate on their placement.

3) use longer screws than that provided. Use screws that are 1.5" or longer and you won't have any problem holding and driving the screw through the circuit/led board into the anchor. In addition, a magnetic tip screw driver or drill driver also helps.

Last note that may be of interest to some. The location the wire passes through the fixture back for connection in the electrical junction box is not centered on the fixture. Therefore, the light fixture will have to be off center of the box by a couple inches to avoid pinching the wire between the fixture and the ceiling. This was a minor issue in my case, but a small amount of the ceiling where the old fixture had covered I will have to touch up with ceiling paint.

I found it quite difficult to install. I tried this three times. The following is a description of the last, and most successful, installation.

Some comments. The screw anchors provided are not good. Indeed they complicate the matter; they are too flimsy and so wind up going right into the sheetrock, which is not what you want.

So I used some standard anchors instead. I used anchors size #6-8 (length 7/8", drill size 3/16"). These seem to work pretty well.

Your one friend here is that the fitting is very light; without the diffuser it is a little over one lb.

1. CREATE A TEMPLATE TO INSTALL THE ANCHORS. I used tracing paper. Any paper probably will do. Place the paper on a table. Put the fitting LED side up on the paper. Carefully mark the paper with the holes in the fitting.

2. TRANSFER THE TEMPLATE TO THE CEILING WHEREVER YOU WANT TO PUT IT. I just taped it to the ceiling.

3. TRANSFER AND INSTALL THE ANCHORS FROM THE TEMPLATE TO THE CEILING. I simply drilled through the template. You want to make sure that this is accurately done (you can check by holding the fitting to the ceiling and checking, of course).

4. CONNECT THE FITTING TO THE CEILING POWER. I severely cut back the wiring from the fitting, since, out of the box, there is a lot of this, which may not be helpful.

5. Holding the fitting against the ceiling, screw the screws through the fitting into the pre-placed anchors. This step is quite hard because the screws provided are very short.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program It took a handyman a total of about 30 minutes start-to-finish to replace the broken, old security light that has been hanging on the back of my house for about the last 10 years. I'm so glad I finally changed it out. This light is bright, providing a crisp, clear incandescence that illuminates the entire yard. It is also much smaller than my previous light so it is less conspicuous during the daytime.

There are 3 settings, including a test setting. I am keeping the light on for 1 minute. It is fairly sensitive but not so much that every little spider that walks by it sets it off. I feel much more secure having a working security light in my yard. I highly recommend the All Pro LED Floodlight. I will definitely replace my other security lights with this exact model. Much more efficient than traditional security lights, too.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We had one of the old fashioned halogen motion lights that used a lot of electricity, and I think when they get old their sensors go bad because it would sometimes stay on all night. So this looked like a good replacement.

The first problem was that the old fixture had a surface mount box, and while some oudoor lights have small profile round "bases" that fit on these, this one was designed to attach to a recessed fixture, so it kind of protrudes without being weatherproof (which can be solved with caulk and gaskets, etc)

Another thing missing is an adjustment for sensitivity. You can adjust how long it stays on after being triggered, but not what level of motion it needs to trigger which is usually standard on such a light.

The adjustment of angles for the lights and the sensor are also a bit tricky to move around, but I didn't try a wrench which might have helped.

I really like the feature that if you flip the light switch it's attached to (if you have one) twice quickly it will stay on until dawn even without motion and that you can cancel this with another double switch.

The unit produces a really nice even bright light and looks nice in the white finish on our house.

It's at least as bright as my old floodlight but the light is much whiter (versus the somewhat yellowish old floodlight lamps). Plus being LED with 35,000 hours of life it should be nice to never have to change the bulbs again. Good range of motion on the two lights and the motion sensor so you should have no trouble directing light and motion detection where you want it.

Installation was straightforward. Operating instructions were simple and this actually supports several modes of operation:

* Auto -detects motion at night, turns on for the amount of time you set (up to 12 minutes).

* Dusk to Dawn -turns on when it gets dark, stays on for 6 hours

* Test -detects motion day and night, turns on for 4 seconds

This replaced my old motion detecting floodlight which mysteriously stopped working last year (bad motion sensor?). I guess we'll see how this holds up. No news is good news; if I haven't updated the review then it's still working good!

Once the wires were in place, installing this was a breeze. No doubt if you have existing wiring, this would take mere minutes. The instructions in the box were definitely helpful, but for anyone with the least amount of experience installing lights, you won't even need them. It's that simple to figure out.

One of the things I love about this light are the settings. Auto (which runs like any other safety motion detector and can range from staying on for 1 to 12 minutes), Dusk (turns on at dusk and stays on for 6 hours) and Test (tests the motion sensor day or night).

The light itself is so crisp and super white. And super bright! None of that mellow yellow incandescent light or garish fluorescent here. And not having to change the bulbs for, like, ever? Sold. Changing lights installed 10 feet in the air on the side of a building sucks.

Finally, the real test of a flood light... the sensor. You want something sensitive enough to catch a person or even an animal but you don't want it going off anytime a mouse walks by or a breeze ruffles some leaves. This sensor, so far, is perfection. It works exactly like I want it to. In fact, I love it so much I am going to replace all of my other lights with this one. Excellent.

It's LED and the LEDs are included (and not replaceable). It's quite sensitive and adjustment can be tricky but I've had the same problem with non-LED lights. It's too bad you can't directly adjust the sensitivity although there are settings for how long the light stays on. At least when it goes off I know the power cost will be reasonable. It's not the most attractive security light out there but for something that should save you energy, doesn't require bulbs, is easy to install and fairly cheap it's a winner.

Cheap junk. I bought two of these lamps last January 2011. It is now January 2012 and neither of the lamps work anymore. I have switched sockets and bulbs etc. Adesso has not responded to my request for repair or replacement. It seems to me that 2 defective lamps is more than a coincidence. I was a little bit skeptical about purchasing this lamp in March when I read the less-than-flattering reviews of it (at that point). But I'm glad I didn't listen to them. I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one a few weeks later. Both lamps have worked great for the past six months with no problems--hopefully that will continue to be the case! They look nice (modern) and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again. (And I love being able to turn them on and dim them by touch. It's a cool feature.) As one reviewer noted, assembly was a little tricky in spots but overall it was pretty easy. Highly recommended.

They look great. Touch feature works well. They do require some assembly which can be tricky. I assembled three them. When screwing the base onto the lamp, it's easy to misalign the threads. The lamp will not sit level if the base is not screwed on properly. I also found it was necessary to sometimes remove the felt bottom to untangle the cord. That prevents me from giving them 5 stars.

These are exactly the same as in Home Depot. It is supposed to be brush nickel but that is a little bit of a stretch. It leans a little to the chrome side in color. When it arrived one of the globes was damaged in shipping but was replaced by the company. Replacement was on back order and took a little extra time but it arrived with no problems.

We really like this lamp. It puts out a very clean bright light, without the glare of fluorescents. It is also easy to adjust the height and position. The one slight problem with the lamp is that the base, while somewhat heavy, is not heavy enough to keep it from leaning too far over, unless you weigh it down, or secure it otherwise. However, I will be ordering another for my sewing room.

The lamp arrived without damage, even though the box had a hole punched into the side. That is probably what broke the included light bulb. I called Econotone Inc, and they sent a replacement immediately, without any problems.

This is a lovely lamp and just the perfect size for my entrance table. When lit, it is so very striking. After reading the other review, and I mean no disrespect to the writer, the lamp is exactly as described...same width and height, and it is not made out of plastic. It is glass. I suggest doing as I did before ordering. Pull out your tape measurer and measure the height and width next to an existing lamp you have your home...it will give you a clear indication as to the size. Shipping was fast and the lamp was well packaged with no damage whatsoever! It was easy to attach the shade. I keep my lamp lit most of the time because the colors are so very pretty...there is a little more purple within the upside-down green heart along the edge of the lamp...on my monitor it looked more of a wine or burgandy color, but it is definitely purple. Wasn't expecting this, the picture doesn't do it justice, there is less green but still a considerable amount .Very well made and the lamp is turned on, on the cord with a switch. I really wasn't sure what to expect with one person saying it was plastic, it is glass by anyone's standard and it is the usual size of most of the tiffany lamps I have. Colors on this lamp are absolutely gorgeous!!! Artist's work was very neatly done and well thought out , as colors complimented each other extremely well. Lots of deep,rich, ruby colored jewels all around it for extra enhancement. Very well-made lamp as it is extremely sturdy and heavy enough that it will not easily tip over or be knocked off a table (many petite lamps of this size are flimsy and light, but not this one!). This lamp would look lovely in any room and gives off just enough light to warm up a dark corner (uses one 60 watt bulb). I have it in a dark hallway, and it does the job. Size and measurements are true to item description. The large dark design shown on the front of this lampshade looks redder in the picture, but , in reality, it is more of a dark purple. I would prefer it had been red or burgandy, but it is acceptable as is. Craftmanship is Superb , and other colors are true to the picture shown. I simply LOVE this little one!!!

This lamp looks gorgeous as my new bed nightstand lamp. It's large enough to take a single normal sized bulb (not a candelabra sized bulb), which makes reading easy before bed. But it's not too large to seem awkward for the space. It has an on/off switch on the cord, which I prefer because I don't like pull chains. It *is* made from glass pieces. Wasn't too impressed with the packaging though. It was minimally padded so I'm surprised it didn't arrive broken, but it didn't. All in all, I am completely satisfied.

Light fixture is great! It looks good and with the adjustable lights, you can put light where you need it. It was easy to install with just 3 wires. The price was fair at about $80. Delivery was quick through UPS. Lamps Plus had quite a variety to choose from. I'm happy with this purchase.
