Matched perfect with an outdoor lighting project. Real glass globes and quality metal. Wiring is a little thin, but no biggie if you keep wattage of bulbs down. Mount to 3 inch diameter poles. Got 'em as distressed packaging through Amazon warehouse, they were selling for over 65.00 each at Lowe's got e'm for 12.00 each here and would have been happy at 25.00 each. Two thumbs up !

This light comes with a newly designed bulb with a very specific base, so you can only use the one type of bulb. It is CFL so it is supposed to last for thousands of hours, but barely lasts a month. I am on my second bulb in less than 2 months & it burned out last night. At $8.00 per bulb, I can no longer afford to keep this light, so, that's it for this fixture. What a waste of money for a highly inferior product. Even the home improvement store told me that the bulb in this fixture is the worst bulb ever made!

I purchased this lamp for use with tattooing.. and is how I will base my review of it.

The light is bright, and has good coverage even when my hands and head are in the way. Moves around easy, both because of the rollers and the smooth action of the arm. The base is nice and heavy and wont allow the lamp to tip even at full reach. It also has the height and reach to get across my table/chair or even extend from behind me to over my client. Stays where I put it, doesn't sag or droop like others I have tried. Easy to wrap the arm behind the lamp head with some barrier film for a handle while tatting to keep cross contamination out.. and cleaning easy. I did not care about the magnifier until I used it.. It turned out great for examining my needles. I did not find that it got too hot as another reviewer said. I have had it right over my head for many hours with no problems.. unlike the incandescent lamp I used before. Instructions or assembly were sort of whacky, but easy enough to figure out. The Engrish instructions were quite comical.

This product works as advertised. When you buy this product, you receive a transmitter (male) and receiver (female). It is pretty much plug and play in that you just need AC power available, connect to your DMX source and the receiver to your light fixture. I used this product for a wedding to up-light a room where guests were dining without any issues. I only wish that you could order the product in receiver pairs only as it comes with one transmitter and one receiver as a pair; if you keep ordering more, eventually you'll have too many transmitters.

Great price for the quality -compare to Blizzard wicicle.

We had these in all the other bath rooms in our house and loved. We added a bath in our basement and installed these. The only thing that I would comment on is that the decorative ball bolts can get scraped if you use a tool to tighten. Recommend putting tape on a pair of pliers to install.

We purchased this fan when doing a kitchen remodel which included new stainless steel fixures. We painted the cabinets white and replaced all cabinet hardward with brushed nickel. This fan fits in beautifully and is performing well thus far. Our contractor installed it and seemed to have no installation problems. He commented on how beautiful it was and we completely agree.

Just installed this today outside our porch, and it looks great. Was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Arrives assembled except for the glass panels, but to install it, you first unscrew the two main pieces, install the four glass panels into the piece that hangs downward, then hook up the electrical supply to other piece that contacts the wall, and finally reconnect the two main parts you previously separated. This last step is the one where it's great to have a helper to hold the down-hanging piece while you connect it to the wall-installed piece, because they're connected using three screws which have decorative nuts (insert joke here). You need one hand to hold the screw, another to hold the nut, and a third hand to support the down-hanging piece. The screws and decorative nuts are small and easy to drop while you're hooking the parts together, and that's the only complaint I have about this product: the three screw heads and nuts should be more hefty for easier handling. I didn't have a helper so I held the parts together, then passed a twist-tie through each of the three holes, twisting them so the down-hanging piece was supported. Then it was easy to install the three screws, removing each twist-tie as I did so.

I ordered two of the fixtures. Both arrived well packed, and with no breakage. Easy to install, however, the way it is designed and its size, it was a two man job, with one person holding up the unit while I connected the wiring. The units are well made, with a classic design that really looks nice. The amber stained glass gives a warm glow to the front of the house, yet provides plenty of light for security.

First, if you buy the light, invest 30 seconds to look at the instructions regarding how to assemble.

I assembled the first by sliding the glass panes up from the bottom a pain in the butt that took 15 minutes.

The instructions consulted, as always, as a last-resort showed that the top should be removed and the glass panes slid down from top. MUCH EASIER.

The lights arrived quickly. Both were pretty well packed (thought both packaged had some damage). Lights were intact. Result looks nice.

Warning: the "honey" glass is darker (less transparent) than I would have guessed. You may be disappointed by how little light comes through the glass. "Mood lighting, not task lighting!"

I agree with the other reviewers here that this is a handsome and reasonably well made fixture. The sides are translucent craft glass with some random color variation. The bottom is open so most of the useful illumination shines down with just some warm accent light glowing through the glass.

It's the material that's suspect. All the exposed metal is ferrous (tack welded sheet steel with the top bracket probably cast iron) and does not appear to even be brass plated. The "Burnished Bronze" finish looks to be painted or powder coated. I would not trust the fixture to survive unblemished for long if exposed to moisture or salty sea air. It should be fine under a protected inland porch. For the price it seems inexcusable that it isn't solid brass.

I really do like this lamp, but would not have paid 98.00 for it, which is the current price. I found in Warehouse deals for 20.00. There's nothing wrong with it at all, just appears to be a return, since the tape on the styrofoam box had been re-sealed.

It's okay quality, not great, but a good deal for 20.00. The base is a resin/composite type material, and the metal 'stem' is fairly heavy quality looks just like the photo shown.

First, let me point out that I bought this specifically because I wanted a light fixture for my fan that would use standard, old fashioned E26 base Edison Screw mount light bulbs. No silly "candelabra" or the unnecessary government-pushed GU24 bulbs. I wanted the ability to choose between using old incandescent bulbs, CFLS, or LED bulbs.

So this fixture was exactly what I was looking for. I had a Craftsmade fan, but it appears that this would mount on most fans (though you might not be able to use the quick-connect wiring harness). Attaching it was very simple (thanks to the aforementioned harness), and much easier than hanging most light fixtures I've worked with.

The fixture looks great -so much so that I never even bought glass to cover the bulbs -simply using slightly fancier bulbs yielded a very modern look that was exactly what I wanted.

My only complaint, and the reason I deducted a star: the stalks for the bulbs come much too close to the top of the fixture. As a result, the blades of my ceiling fan would initially hit them when spinning. Luckily, I was able to re-adjust their positions enough to fix the issue. Nonetheless, it did somewhat limit how I could point the bulbs, and could have been an issue had my room been laid out differently.

Best 50 Watt LED Waterpoof Outdoor Security Floodlight 100/240V AC Deals

I purchase for apartment properties and these are the first LED floods that seem to be reasonably priced.

I an using them to replace 150 watt high pressure sodium lights. The light from the (LED)fixtures is much harsher

than the high pressure sodium fixtures however they seem to be close in brightness. I have installed one

on a building side by side with a sodium fixture and they are adequately bright to to be used in place of the old fixture.

Be cautious of adds stating how long the led bulbs will last. While the bulbs may have a very long life, the electronics in

the fixtures can be taken out by strong power surges and I don't know if these can be fixed. I have not lost any of this

particular fixture to a power surge yet but do intend to install an in line surge suppressor as added insurance.

I have not yet used the led fixture in a situation where the light needs to broadcast for a long distance so I can't yet say

how it compares to the high pressure sodium in that circumstance.

With 22 flood lights at one property the savings should be notable once the high pressures sodium fixtures have been replaced.

I am only going to replace fixtures as they wear out in case any unforeseen problems develop with the LED's.

Also of note the LED flood was much brighter than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

No instructions were included but I wired it blue to neutral, brown to hot and green/yellow to ground. I heard a short buzz sound then nothing. Upon inspection of the PCB board, the electronics looked cheap and hand soldered. Only two of four screws were used to attach the PCB to the housing. Two small heat sinks were poorly attached to the PCB.

There are similar looking 50W LED floods out there that are much more expensive. Maybe they have different and better drivers? At least Amazon makes it easy to return.

Save yourself some aggravation and avoid these.

I purchased this light thinking about going green and replacing the halogen floods on my house. I received the light about 20 days after my order but in arrived DOA with loose parts rolling around inside. I emailed the seller and he told me that it must have been damaged in transport so he agreed to send a second light. When the second light arrived it was the same story. The box in came in was perfect and showed no signs of damage. When looking over the light I can see that it's very poorly made with silicone slopped in the seams. Do yourself a favor and pass on this brand.

I purchased this 50 watt LED floodlight in August of 2011. I just bought another to have as a backup in case this one fails. The current price is about one half of what it was last year. This light is mounted above my garage and does a great job of illuminating all of my front yard. The brightness of this product is such that the neighbors across the street see a distinct shadow of themselves when they walk in front of their house at night. It looks to be just slightly less bright than a 70 watt high pressure sodium fixture, which I also have and compared. I have this fixture controlled by a timer and it has worked perfectly every night for about 11 months now.

The perfect lamp for well focused light. Very bright. The only thing to be aware of is the light "color" is very white.

Good base and heavy enough to handle the extension of the lamp horizontal.

The lamp looks nothing like it is pictured, or described. It is described as "antique nickle," and looks shiny in the picture, but is more like plastic sprayed with silver paint -dull and grey, with no shine at all. It looks tacky, and feels like it weighs an ounce. It looks like something you would buy for five dollars at the dollar store, or something you would use to work under the hood of your car. Furthermore, I bought two used ones in "like new" condition, but one arrived with a deep dent in the top of the lamp the size of a fifty-cent piece, and it was stuck at a forty-five degree angle. I haven't received the other one yet, but can't use only one (not that I would want it anyway), so I am returning both. I can't believe I spent nearly ninety dollars for these, much less that they are being sold for nearly one-hundred dollars each new. I am sorely disappointed in Amazon for this one, and will be even more disappointed and shocked if I don't receive a full refund, including the cost of return shipping.

The lamp has a good look to it but the quality is questionable especially for the price. The finish has some minor nicks, the mounting plate is for an electical box not a surface (wall) mount installation and one of the nuts was not threaded properly. The most annoying thing was you can only use standard filament light bulbs because of the type of socket they used. The socket is to deep and CFL and/or LED bulbs will not fit.

When I addressed the abovewith the company, which took an couple of email for them to understand that I just wanted a nut to finish the installation, they ended up sending me a replacement lamp which had the same issues as the first one?

Very easy to install, it plugs into a standard electrical outlet as opposed to hard-wired. It fastens to a plate you attach to the walls with two screw anchors. So basically if you know how to put a couple anchors in a wall you can install this.

The metal appears to be bronze-plated zinc.
