Was looking for something to hang over my Embroidery Machine. I paid a little more than most of the items listed on Amazon as I was wanting a good quality Swag Lamp. Quality is just OK. The cord is a goldish yellow color and very puzzled why they wouldn't use the clear cord with the Pewter chain. Will serve the purpose and will keep but feel item is overpriced for what you get.

I bought this light to replace my existing older stair lights and wow what a difference it makes. This light is bright and looks very professional. My wife loves being able to walk down the stairs at night without turning on the lights or going upstairs after turning out the lights downstairs. I really like this product's low profile look. I have installed it at the end of a hallway where it gets completely dark at night.

It emits just enough light to give a foot diameter glow around it. The light color is as white as it can get, as you have seen in other LED lights. The reason for my 4 star is due to the fact that the actual shade part (a half dome part) is a little too thin so that the LED light behind it glows through it. I had to insert a black piece of paper that's cut out to the right size inside the shade to block the glow. I still like it enough, thus my rating. It wouldn't hurt to try it with this pricing.

Very happy with this purchase. Was looking for an attractive desk lamp that would not take up a lot of desk space, yet give off good light. Currently using a 100W bulb with this lamp (max is 150W) and it is working great. It is a rather large lamp (height, lamp shade diameter), so make sure you measure before buying. Quality of the materials is very good very sturdy lamp.

These are exactly the same as in Home Depot. It is supposed to be brush nickel but that is a little bit of a stretch. It leans a little to the chrome side in color. When it arrived one of the globes was damaged in shipping but was replaced by the company. Replacement was on back order and took a little extra time but it arrived with no problems.

I've been running the above mentioned pair going on 2 years with no loss in lumen output,period. Bought another solistek few months back, due to lack o funds I decided to try 1 of the $30-40 lamps infesting the online market. After 2 mo. @ 18 hr a day, my cfl in the kitchen was putting out more light (no B.S.). Tried another and another cheapy with not much better results. Thought, maybe it's the ballast? I'm very happy with the design of this lamp. The clear glass spheres and white beads near the top of the lamp post look even better in person than they look on the photo. The beads make this lamp more stylish than your average plain floor lamp w/ white shade, but it's simple enough that it fits in anywhere without clashing with furniture or decorations.

Assembly was also very easy. You just screw each section of the post together and then the lamp shade is secured with a ring that screws it into place. It didn't require any tools.

Unfortunately the lamp shade came with a few dirt smudges. I had to turn the shade so the smudges are facing the wall.

I purchased this to replace a lamp in my TV room. It's absolutely perfect for my needs. Should I decide to read rather than watch TV, the lamp has sufficient illumination for that purpose. It looks beautiful in the room. The lamp was easy to assemble, which is important for us single ladies.

I would have rated the lamp 4 stars if I'd paid full price, but I got it at a discount (open box item) which made it a fabulous deal. I really like this lamp and so do friends and family, who've complimented the look of it. It's really nice and doesn't take up space on the end table. If it goes on sale, I'll buy another to match this one.

I knew this was not crystal or glass but it really does look like plastic. I regret not spending a little more for a table lamp with actual glass or crystal. It is heavy, very stable on the end table I have it on.

The plastic crystal are very delicate, the item was well packaged during shipping and I received many broken crystal. I would have given this item five stars but for two minor problems. The conduit is suppose to terminate in an electrical box. However, I combed the local Lowes for a long time trying to find a fitting for a box termination to no avail. Inclusion of a fitting would be nice. The other is the mounting bracket provided. When placed on the conduit the flanges on each side through which the bolts pass to mount it would not lay flat. I replaced the bracket with three circular clamps. Otherwise, the light worked great right off, continues to perform better than I expected and, for the price, it's an excellent value.

Now this is a great light, I am going to buy 2 more for my back yard. This was chosen after returning the cooper lighting 150 Watt piece of junk. The Cooper is not a "made in USA" product the company maybe but everything is made in China. But this Utopia item also made in China but was shipped in a secure box inside of another shipping box. All the componets were properly packaged to prevent moving and breakage. The Item ia well put together with strong welded points with water proof attachments at the wire points of contact. The whole item was easy to put together and everything fit. Light is bluish and gives off a great light for 1/2 acre lot. But I still will get another one for closer to the house. I was impressed with the metal brace which was included, it is made of strong metal not flimsy aluminum. buy it!

Best 2-head LED Security Light Motion-sensing Flood Light/floodlight Deals

This light does what it is supposed to do as a security light. You can adjust the sensitivity and how long it stays on after it detects motion, but also you can leave them on. If you are having an outdoor party and want to leave the lights on, you can do that. You simply flip the switch off, wait three seconds, then flip it back on again and that changes modes. So you can leave them off all night to sleep (but they come on if they detect motion. Or you can have them stay on all night (or until your outdoor activity is over). The brightness and whiteness of the light is very bright and looks amazing. Also it uses less electricity than regular floods. Pretty cool light!

I installed 2 of these fixture for my home. they work great. light is very bright ...maybe a little harsh to look at...DON'T LOOK AT IT!!

..They both work well with the Censer it took a little time for proper adjustment but worth the time.

I replaced two twin 150 watt halogens and these are almost as bright. The halogens bulbs are a pain to replace and they don't last that long.

Fixture will pay for them selves with energy savings.

I changed the rating from a 5 star to 3 star here is why

ONE OF THE TWO FIXTURES started to pulse or strobe..not sure why. tried re-adjusting setting to no avail .I E mailed the company and am waiting to hear back from them.

This will be the final determining factor on my recommendations for this product.

Had to return one back to COSCO, the MFG would not get involved in a return or trade in.

The whole idea was to make life easier with this light but it turned into a project and aggravation.

I would not buy another one and hope the 2nd one I own holds up.

We recently purchased the Avant Eco ceiling fan which we love but unfortunately it doesn't come with a light kit (for almost $500 you would think it would). Emerson doesn't have very many ceiling fan light kit choices and I really wanted to dress up the fan and make it stand out. I searched all over the internet and considered several "universal" light kits including a few funky chandelier light kits (which I wish someone would make more of). I am pleased that we chose this kit b/c it has a nice smooth finish and is the perfect size for the fan nice and substantial without being overwhelming. It comes with energy efficient light bulbs which are nice and bright. I ordered the brushed steel finale light kit and it matches the ceiling fan perfectly. Be careful that you order the right kit for your fan though because they don't come with a bunch of generic finales like some kits do just the finish you order it in. The only negative thing that I have to say is that it came with a really ugly piece for the pull cord which we are replacing. Overall, we would definitely buy this kit again. In fact, I am actually planning to buy another one to go in our guest room on another emerson fan to replace the swirled kit on it. This one is really classy and beautiful. Finally, we received it SO FAST it was shipped and delivered in about 4 days which was 3 weeks sooner than the estimate emailed to us! Thank you!
