Buy Set 2 Designer Yellow N Orange Table Lamps 17W Shade
Product looks as shown in the picture and was a colorful, practical addition to my kids rooms. I also like that base is plastic it does not look cheap, but at the same time there is less worry about damage if these lamps get knocked down (compared to a glass base or heavy metal base). I would recommend this product.

The color looks exactly the same on the photo. The first order I received has both bases broken into pieces due to poor packaging. The seller was prompt to solve the issue and shipped another set. These lamps came very quickly, and they were a better price than a lot of other places I was looking at. One of the boxes was beat up really bad, but the lamp inside was fine. I gave it 5 stars because my son loves bright colors and he will love these in his room. I also like they are not huge lamps, they are just right for the corner of the dresser. The seller shipped the item very quickly and I received it after a few days even without using Amazon Prime. However, the green lamp (yes it's green not yellow) arrived broken. Rather than going through the trouble of getting a replacement or a refund, I just decided to donate the orange lamp to Goodwill and throw away the broken green lamp in the trash. These lamps look cheap and tacky. Don't let the pictures fool you. Ten years ago if I bought something this cheaply made I'd give it one star, but I guess we're all getting used to the manufacturing paradigm that you want to make something as cheaply as possible but still work.
On the down side sheet metal work is poor. Holder for the 'cloud' is a strap bent around outside of the box not straight or flat consequently I was not able to mount it so box flush against ceiling, and it shows. (OK probably could if I took the fixture down, drilled 2 screens into the box near the end that shows, 2 into ceiling and sunk plaster anchors into the ceiling, pulling it very tight against ceiling on the end.) The holders for the sockets clip loosely into sheet metal straps you have to wiggle them to get bulbs in not sure it's safe to change bulbs with power on. Instructions include instructions for replacing the ballasts either they are being thoughtful or do not expect them to last. Instructions warn you that 'cloud' breaks easily. I believe it that was true of the fixture this replaced and it was the reason I replaced it.
On the plus side the T8 bulbs light instantly and that's nice. Very bright. Very nice lighting and looks good if you don't look too close and notice the fixture is pushed out 1/8" from the ceiling on the one corner. (I doubt too many people would look close.)

Was looking for something to hang over my Embroidery Machine. I paid a little more than most of the items listed on Amazon as I was wanting a good quality Swag Lamp. Quality is just OK. The cord is a goldish yellow color and very puzzled why they wouldn't use the clear cord with the Pewter chain. My 50 year old house, needs a lot of maintenance. But when I needed a lamp and went to the local Big Box, I couldn't find anything I liked, and didn't want to spend $100.00 and settle.
I wanted a large single bulb with frosted glass in black. I wanted to put in a floresent bulb, but didn't want to see it, black to match the old pole.
Gotta love Amazon and the iPad. Looked for a long time at the huge selection and saved a few dollars. It was as advertised and looks great. It took more time to open package than install.

Single Pendant Light with a Round Colored Glass Shade Review

I ordered three of these pendants to hang in a row in a new kitchen. They arrived on time and in good condition although it was strange that two came as one order, and the third came as a separate order from a different location even though they were ordered as a quantity of 3 at the same time showing plenty in stock. However, while preparing to install we noted that one of the three lamps was visually different than that other two. It had small round balls on the ceiling screw attachment and the other two had small metal cylinders. But MOST importantly is that the two that arrived together with the cylindrical mounting screws have a HORRIBLE bright green wire running through the clear electrical cord! This not only looks ridiculous and stands out like a sore thumb hanging against the wall, but is visually different than the third lamp which does not have this green cord. Obviously these lamps are made by two different companies. So the dilemma is do you send just the two horrible green wire products back and reorder and hope to not get a repeat of the green wire situation or send all three back and choose something different. I would not recommend anyone order these products until the manufacturer assures this has been sorted out. Sad, as it was a nice clean lamp for the price.
Update: After weeks of back and forth, Amazon customer service has gone the extra mile in trying to solve this mismatch issue. However it took SIX lamps to get three that are even "close" (still not perfect) to the same appearance. The quality of this product is so poor that half of them were unusable with holes in the glass being so mismatched that the shades would not even fit, defects in glass, different sizes in diameter, different metal attachment screws, I could go on and on. Thank you Amazon as always for doing your best to satisfy, but bottom-line consumers stay clear of this very poorly made product!

Bought this for my dining room, and I'm very happy with the warm and cozy glow of the lamp. It reminds me of the light you see in magazines depicting a log home with the amber illumination in the the windows. It comes with quite a long cord so even if you have higher than normal ceilings you should be okay. I did not think of taking the measurement so I can't report it accurately, but if that is a concern just check with the seller, and they will be able to tell you.Saturday, July 19, 2014

Installed light to use as security for back yard and shed. Light is made very well and install is simple. I would have issued a five star rating , but it has been just over one month and I noticed light will start a loud humming sound and shut off for about 30 min or so and restart.
I have checked all electrical connections and have 120 volt straight to unit .
I believe it may be a internal problem with light .
I do wish they made this light in a higher watt same housing but did not see it offered on Amazon.

The ability to adjust the height and angle of the shade are important with this lamp because the CFL bulb (not included) is as long as the shade. It is uncomfortable to use, like having a flashlight shined in your eyes. I like the looks and design so I kept it, will look for a longer shade.I wanted a lamp that would compliment a floor lamp that I already had. this one works. The shade was whiter than I would prefer, but will work for now. Assembly was easy.

I was a little concerned getting this item based on previous reviews talking about some line on the shade, but juste like with EVERY round shade, of course you have to stick it on itself at some point... And it's OK, you turn the line towards the wall and it's done.
Those lamps look very pretty in our bedroom, they are neither too bright or too low in terms of lighting, and the aluminum outside gives a modern touch to our otherwise wood bed and tables. We're really satisfied with them.

Our Hampton Bay transformer stopped working. We searched high and low and ran across this George Kovacs Lightrail transformed in the exact finish we needed. This is really nice. The brushed nickel goes well with a modern decor. It is easy to install with good directions. The mount is large enough to cover most wall holes. This is very elegant looking and would add to any decor.
