We converted some attic space into a bedroom, so with ceiling height at a premium, we were looking for smaller fans to fit the space. I'm happy to report that the width and depth (from ceiling) worked out perfectly, they're also very quiet when on.

I gotta say I didn't think Id write a review on such a nondescript item as a ceiling fan, but this one is a real gem. First of all it really is designed for a small room with a low ceiling. We had a converted our porch into a real room and we added the fan to its low ceiling in the hopes of keeping the room cool in out Arizona summers. Well right now I am enjoying the breeze as it keeps the rooms air constantly moving. The other great thing is the low mount (sold separately) in that there is no down pipe with it so it takes up less then a foot of space from the ceiling down. This was a great purchase for the application (small room, low ceiling) and Amazon was great as always.

We were told that 32 inch ceiling fans wouldn't move much air, but these two are perfect for the two rooms we've installed them in. They're quiet and really create a nice breeze. I don't know how they'd do in larger space, but in two 10 x 10 bedrooms they really perform well. Too bad the seller didn't ship the Low Ceiling Adapters on a timely basis with the fans they would have really helped the appearance in these low ceiling rooms.

In terms of looks the lamp does not disappoint. The paper shades with the bamboo imprint filter and mute the light an create a nice ambiance without being too dark ideal for a bedroom nightstand. The construction, while not shoddy, is also not solid enough to risk placing the lamp in high traffic areas I doubt the frame would survive a fall off of a hallway accent table, for example. I improved the stability significantly by simply gluing the top portion, which is left loose intentionally to make changing the bulb easier, into place permanently. You can still swap out the bulb via the bottom if you do this.

A nifty and unique item that will lend a bit of authentic looking Asian style to your home.

I really like this lamp. It fits the room that we bought it for very well. But,assembly was a nightmare. It came folded flat, the four corners are attached to one another by some kind of glue and fabric hinge and the one I had, had adhered to the ones on the other side making it impossible to open. It came with a single sheet of illustrations but no words, it was no help at all. I ended up cracking two of the legs and eventually took a razor knife to cut the hinge free on one corner and carefully open it up. I then used silicone glue to repair the damage that I had done. All in all, way too much hassle for this product that I paid forty to fifty dollars for.

We ordered 2 of these to make a matching set. They arrived quickly after ordering them and in perfect shape. They matched perfectly with our wrought iron bed frame and the pair looked great on either side of the bed. They make great reading lights and nice room lights. I love the swivel of each lamp individually, it makes for great control of where the light goes. Easy to install, my husband had them up in no time. These are great because it freed-up space on our night-stands. Also another great feature is that the switch turns each lamp on one at a time, first the right one then the left one and then both together for maximum lighting. You can't beat how adjustable and classic these wall lights are. However, the finish doesn't have any brass/gold highlights like the picture suggests. They are more of a dull black color, and I have resorted to painting mine to look the color I wanted. I am concerned about the 30" of metal cord cover because we need to mount the light higher than this on our wall and I am hoping that the bare cord will not look too bad as it disappears behind our mattress.

We installed two of these with the brown finish behind our triple recliner. It was a little difficult to get the wire pulled through the metal conduit, but lubricant helped a lot. They look great. Since they are near our heads, I put in CFL bulbs to avoid heat.

BTW: The fixture measures 15" from the top of the higher arched arm to the bottom of the lowest shade. I'm a little picky, but I wish we had reversed the arms when we assembled one of the lamps so they would be mirror images.

This product claimed to have a 3-way rotary switch but the 3 way bulbs did not work so the lamp really only has one setting. The shade is folded flat in the box and I would never even use it due to poor aesthetics so this was very misleading. I'd have to spend at least another $15.00 for a separate shade. I cannot reach the company directly by telephone (they do not provide a telephone #) so I have to keep sending e-mails and the parts department has not gotten back to me. I researched a long time for a lamp with a bronze finish and with the 3-way switch. I needed it installed in time for the arrival of a tenant but this plan bombed because the product does not deliver what was promised and I cannot reach anyone there to return it.

The lamp worked 100% when I unpacked it. No problems getting the shade to prop up. Very easy to set everything up. The only issue with the lamp itself was I had to tighten the bulb a little past normal to get the 3-way to work. Normally you insert the bulb but NOT tight or the bulb may not come out when you need to replace it.

The downsides in the design I found to be were they only give you one mounting rail for the cover trim. Two would help. The question on that part, does everybody NEED that? Secondly, the power cord was too short. It is the length of a desk lamp. The cord issue was easy for me to resolve.

I had to order a 12 foot SP2 power cable (2 prong polarized cord) so I could mount it higher on my wall. Some odd reason they wired the lamp with a cord about 6 feet with ground. First time I have ever seen a lamp that had ground plug. With it unplugged, it is simple to service. Easy to take the back panel off. Remove the three front caps and it comes apart. With a pliers, squeeze and you can loosen the three electrical caps so you can set them aside. Remove the power cord Insert your new longer cord and away you go. Either reuse the caps, use new ones, or use wire nuts so the wires are NOT exposed.

Overall you get what you pay for. It's somewhere between 3.5 4 stars. If you don't need more than 6 feet of cord, it will work for you. However consider cord length. If you want it so your head doesn't knock into it, you will either need to rewire it, or use an extension cord. You don't need to be a scientist to do the wiring. Just about anybody that can wire speakers can do this fix. Moms, ask your teenagers!

I did order an extra cord cover in matching brass finish that easily fit right onto the mounting bracket supplied for extra cord coverage since my placement was on a wall next to furniture and not behind furniture. Was looking for something sleek and stylish, but not too trendy for a second bathroom. This fixture is perfect. Directions are easy to follow and the fixture easy to install. One issue we had is that the lightbulbs that accompanies the fixture were broken upon delivery, even thought they were wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside the globes (note that the globes were intact). The other issue is that the finish on the edge of one of the globes is slightly uneven. We will just turn that part to the wall side of the fixture. We have it facing down and it looks wonderful. Gives off nice light.

Buy Large Windmill Lighthouse Solar Light

I purchased windmill to help draw attention to my daffodil and tulip garden. Yes, it did that well. It's large size and blade span caught everyone's attention. But the blades don't quite fit tightly on the spindle--the spin is a bit sloppy. It got worse when some vandals broke two of the blades off. Forget about buying replacement blades, the seller is just an importer of cheap Chinese items. I'm going to have to try and fabricate some of my own.

I agree with the other reviewer that it makes sense to lock the blades down; especially on days with any wind at all. Still, I'm glad I bought it and plan on trying to repair it.

Be very wary. Furniture Creations, also selling on Amazon as Click2GO and High Performance Parts is cutting and pasting the pictures from Coaster and passing them off as of the product they are selling.

Their lamp only vaguely resembles the Coaster and the mid-century piece on which Coaster's lamp is modeled.

(1) The rod and its screw are too small for the base, which has extra random holes in it for some reason -perhaps its original purpose? So, the lamp tips (see my pictures).

(2) Instead of curving at 90 degrees, the upper rod is almost 180 degrees, that is straight up.

(3) The lamp shade, stuck on a rod that does not have the proper curve does not adjust, so the light is directly in a standing person's eyes rather than focusing downward as it should (and is pictured).

(4) I should have known when i saw the packaging : random boxes with their old labels partially torn off taped together.

I complained to them and they gave me a crazy run-around, saying variously they didn't have my order number, and that I had bought it from Click2Go rather than their parts front. Also, they don't have websites for any of these so-callled stores and use cell phones to take calls.

My lamp came today and I'm very happy with it. Looks great, easy to assemble, was packaged very well. Perfect size for my room, I was worried because of my 8 foot ceiling but the high point of the arc is just over 7 feet and you have a 5 foot span to walk under it. Takes up to 150w bulb, has a foot activated switch and a swivel head. They sent along a 10% off next purchase coupon but it expired last year.

That's what my wife screamed after I assembled it. That's a lot coming from her because she is usually very picky about this type of thing. And I agree with her. They took special care to pack it well so none of the parts was broken or damaged during the shipping. I was especially happy that the marble base was in one piece. Note that the lamp shade is much bigger than it looks in the picture. But it's well made and looks very elegant. The base is very heavy for a good reason which is to support the weight of arching branch, lamp shade, and the light bulb, and it does a good job at that. You can use standard size light bulb, which was not included in the box. The lamp shade has the hinge that can be adjusted in various angle so you can fine tune the angle/direction of light. The highest point of the arch is about 88 inches high from the floor, the lamp shade hangs around at 70 inches high, and the center of the shade extends ~60 inches from the center of the base. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with the instruction. But I also have to point out that it's not that difficult to figure it out yourself. It took me around 20 minutes to assemble it, and it looks fabulous illuminating my round dinner table! By the way, my cat must think it's the Sun. As soon as he saw it, he jumped up on the table right under the lamp head lying on his back with all legs stretched out as if he was getting a tan. This got me extra points from my wife for making the cat happy.

Overall, with a little bit over $100, this is the best arch lamp you will find anywhere, and all of us (including cat) are extremely happy with it.

The Disney Princess lamp is an immediate hit with the 4-6 year old set who consider themselves princesses as well. The figures are bright and attractive; the music is lively. This is the perfect lamp for any little girl who loves princesses. My daughter got it for her 4th birthday. It is easy to use with a push button to turn the light on/off. The princesses dance and revolve and talk before the light turns off or on. The only bad thing is the volume is louder than you would want right before bed or if you wake in the middle of the night and turn it on. It could also use a night light feature. I had seen a different princess lamp w/the night light. It is also expensive but will last.
