This lamp is very light-weight and very fancy. It is very bright and is better than regular bulbs because of its LED. It Has 2 adjustable levels of light that comes in handy. I am able to read comfortably for extended periods of time without hurting my eyes with this lamp. I recommend this product because it takes up little space and is very strong.

Pros: This light looks great on my son's desk and I like that the switch (sliding kind) is on the unit

Cons: Not very bright if you need it for more intensive task-light (e.g., reading, sewing, etc) function, but I suppose it would be OK if you just need some extra lighting when working on the computer. Also, though the slider light switch on the unit is nice, it is not very easy to slide it to the precise location for the night light setting.

It's very bright and doesn't hurt my eyes at all.

I'd gotten lasik surgery, so my eyes are very sensitive and easily become watery, but this lamp is just bright and not hurtful. And night-lite is also perfect for my little son who sleeps by me and wakes me at night from time to time.

Ok just go the Desk lamp and its Plastic and shiny and bright the night light seem point less but would be great for guest room for people not sure where teh lamp is to allow them to find it and turn on safely but i don't think this will make your scared child sleep better type of night light

I only wish teh switch was on the base would make on and off easier

Also the light is 6k (old GOP lights are under 3k color off white yellow) and is whiter then cfl's and almost a blue white but it is fine for a desk lamp would be best for reading very bright easy to adjust and sturdy even for plastic

I purchased this chandelier for my daughter's room. I am decorating it with a shabby chic princess theme. I saw this chandelier and thought well for the price I can't go wrong.

The description should be dingy white with yellow and brown streaks throughout the base. Because the crystals are clear plastic they have no sparkle. The plastic crystals against the dingy white base just adds to the cheap look factor.

You may get away with placing this in a little girls bedroom room since it kind of looks like a toy. I would however go with another color or count on spray painting this dingy white. I would however strongly advise against purchasing this for any other room in your house. It will scream I am trying to impress but my pockets cannot afford it. You're better off getting a used nice chandelier from somewhere else or spending an extra hundred bucks.

I will be returning this item, because it looks like a cheap bargain store item. I would rather put an extra $90 and get a nice chandelier from Lamps plus than use this cheap imitation.

I have looked over this item several times since it has arrived in hopes of it looking better. It gets cheaper looking every time I look at it. If you want to change an elegant room to a cheap discount dollar store looking room instantly, then this is the product to buy.

This was a surprise gift for my four year old daughter. She said she didn't want a Disney Princess theme room anymore, she wanted a big girl room. So we ordered this light as one of the renovation items. My husband installed it, which he said was very simple...all hardware that was required was included, minus the tools of course. Now, as I said this is for my four year old, it is cute, very cute for a child's room. If you are looking for a chandelier for something fancy, do not buy this one. This is fit for a child's room or playroom. It gives off great light and does actually sparkle. I love it and my daughter was so excited when she saw it hanging in her room. It's a great buy at a great price.

This arrived quickly and after reading the reviews before purchase I embraced for the delivery. I purchased the white one. This item is cute and it is small. I believe the problem is that on the scroll of metal there is clear beading instead of actual crystals. Since this is for my nursery I don't mind but if its for a girls who is pre-teen i would probably opt for another chandelier.

I did not think that I would mind not having shades but since it is so small I ordered lamp shades from another place but even the mini shades are too big for this chandelier.

I have a big nursery so my chandelier looks a little lost in there but I still like it.

This is really beautiful and I am completely satisfied with this product. Took some time to get this up and stable, but it is worth the effort. Flexible and adjustable height with the chains. The ceiling plate looks very strong and sturdy, which is very important to me. This is pure white light courtesy the diamond. If you prefer a little tint, go for topaz same price.

Extremely satisfied with this perfect 5 star.

Looks nice online, but in reality it is a small chandelier... I wish the description would have contained dimensions information. If you are planning on using this in a room bigger than 10' x 10', you may want to go with a larger piece.

It also looks a bit cheap, I guess you get what you paid for...

I purchased a house which had these lights installed. There are are medium and large ones.

I would stay away from the larger onces as they don't put out enough light to cover a large room. I would say the same for the smaller size as they are good for hallways or maybe a laundery room, but I would avoid using them in a normal sized bedroom.

I actually broke the glass cover when changing bulbs and I didn't have any luck finding any replacement parts anywhere so I had to purchase a new light completely. Due to the high price, I was looking for new a replacement instead of buying a whole new fixture.

This is a nice light overall, but they are not versatile enough to put throughout an entire house.

Good magnification, decent lighting.. but the articulating arms are just too cheaply designed and weak, making it impossible to adjust the position of the lens easily, if you adjust them too far out then it can't bear the weight of the head anymore.

I recommend the 'daylight slimline magnifying mirror' instead, it has a much more substantial design and also enclosed springs.

Purchased the LSM197 blk the lamp works fine but cannot find a replacement bulb for the lamp it takes a T-5 22W mfg does not provide info on a replacement bulb so if bulb blows you might have to buy and new set up because replacement bulb not available..

When we got these bulbs in the mail, they were packed nicebut two out of the six were broken, you could hear it in the box when you moved it. The two broken ones had impact breaks on the outside of the glass bulb as wellso this was not just one from the shipping, it actually hit something that broke it first. Bummer about the two lightbulbs, but when the other 4 went up, they looked great! Just what I wanted, minus a few bulbs :)

We installed new clear, bell-shaped pendants in our kitchen. These bulbs look really awesome. But, three out of the six arrived broken, so we returned them. Maybe this is something that needs to be purchased locally due to their delicate nature.

We purchased 3 boxes of these bulbs for the new lights we purchased. I had read that others had encountered issues with broken bulbs but I decided to take a chance on these anyway, as the price was much lower than purchasing them at a retail lighting store. As far as the bulbs themselves, they are fantastic, and look absolutely stunning. We could not be happier with the way the lights look, and the warm glow that these bulbs cast. Best of all, I did not encounter any broken bulbs in the first two boxes. Alas, in the third box, three of the six bulbs were broken. Without that, our rating would probably have been 5 stars. Of course, the return of these with Amazon was painless.

These bulb are an excellent way to add a vintage feel to your home, without forking out for expensive light fittings. Yes, you're still paying more than you would for a standard light bulb but it's still a better deal on Amazon than what you'll find in a retail store.

My only complaint is that one of the bulbs only lasted a few weeks. The bulb in question always gave off a slightly different color than the others so I can only assume it was dodgy to start with and probably made on a Friday afternoon.

Overall it's a good looking product at a reasonable price. Just make sure you use it in a location where you can show it off.

Cool bulbs, but 60 watts might be a little too much juice to get the full effect of the squirrel cage. Also, this is a very dim 60 watts. However, I still think they're pretty neat in our bathroom.

The headlamps arrived with cracked housing , the plastic tightening knob was broken on both lamps . I don't have time to return the product so I just put some heat silcone on the housing and wing nut so I can tighten the adjustments by hand , I recommend going to the store and buying a better or name brand instead of saving a few bucks.

This lamp is very decorative would do well as long as you don't intend to light up an entire room. It produces no more luminescence then a candle so if your looking for a romantic lamp then this is the one to buy. I return the one I was sent and the seller was very helpful and cooperative. I tried it with a 25 watt as the seller informed me that it only takes a maximum of a 30 watt bulb. The paper bulb itself hangs loosely from the support and I didn't feel it was safe. Otherwise It is a great looking lamp.

I mounted this in my man cave to replace a noisy/useless Westinghouse. I've kept it on medium speed all summer and its been great. Nice breeze, very quite. Even on high it's sound is noticeable, but not too loud. Also, it was pretty easy to add a lighting attachment.

I love this ceiling light!. We ordered it for our nursery and it looks great. We get so many compliments on it. It would look great anywhere. One customer complained about the shiny plate on the bottomthat was not an issue at all. Just use the reverse side. One side is glossy and the other matte. You can't beat the price.

Though this shade on the light isn't like the image shown, its still a great light... I installed this immediately and noted the almost beige color of the lamp shade...which wasn't a shock since I read other reviews and knew what to expect. When this light is turned on, the shade becomes almost mustard yellow but you do get to see all the great twill patterns in the material which gives it lots of visual interest.

The light is wonderfully bright especially the area right under the drum shade. It takes a second to get to this super bright point-something about the kind of bulb.

Installation wasn't too tough-just awkward. The silly little threaded ball caps that hold the base to the ceiling are a pain to get started, I dropped them once and had to go chase them down...ugh... also, you have to mount the drum shade before another part who's installation requires you to reach in the area between the shade and the main fixture mounting area to screw on a star washer and nut from the top. Hopefully you have skinny hands and arms if you plan on installing this-it helps.

Overall, despite the very different shade color, I do like this lamp, its upscale and modern without being too modern/unusual that its going to get dated anytime soon.

Shipping was incredibly fast-3 days-but it came usps and the box was really beat upthankfully the two punctures and the terribly smashed corner did not damage the shade too obviously. I would advise better shipping methods or additional packaging.

We bought this light fixture for our foyer. My husband wasn't sure about this styling and really wanted a flush mount fixture. I ordered this anyway and it has really updated our living space! It looks much more up to date and modern while still fitting in with other traditional aspects of our home. My husband installed this quickly without much problem. I was hesitant to order because of others stating that it was sort of green, but I don't think that's true. It's more of a true linen/cream, but still blends in well with the white trim and stair case throughout the house. Terrific pricing for this fixture as well, similar ones at other sites were much more expensive.
