LOVE THIS quirky little lamp!! I saw this on Pinterest and made it my cover photo-adding up the price, shipping, tax, it was too expensive on the clicked-through link but found it here on Amazon! These days so many items are poorly made and disappointing when you see the actual item. NOT this lamp which is a thick frosted glass, unlike the photo where the light appears somewhat pink the light is quite bright and white/yellow. There is an on/off switch on the cord. It is a very nice size because it doesn't take up too much space on my small stand. Makes me happy to look at it..

This reading light works pretty well and is cute. The included bulb takes a minute or two to warm up, so don't expect to turn it on and read right away. Once it is warm the light is plenty to read.

Simple but feels surprisingly sturdy and well made. I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it. Reads with it comfortably before bed and says he sleeps better with it. My husband kind of rolled his eyes when I pulled out the box but upon inspection he admitted it is actually nicer than what he had thought and a good purchase. I certainly recommend.

This lamp projects enough soft beautiful light to illuminate a 15 x 15 foot space easily and will look great almost anywhere, with practically any decor, except perhaps a teepee. I use the lamp with a dimmer and can confirm the lamp does not buzz at all. Construction and materials are first rate. Design is beautiful, practically timeless. Installation instructions made set-up very easy (I installed by myself with just a screwdriver, and I am not particularly handy). The springs that are part of the lamp heads keep the glass shades firmly in place, which is good. But users should be careful (be firm, methodical, gentle) as you remove and replace the globe-shaped glass shades when changing the bulb. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion. I would buy one of these units again in a heartbeat, Or if I required more light, I would get the 6-Lite model. As always, with lights of this type, ALWAYS use the right bulb; don't be tempted to install a higher wattage bulb because you think you need a bit more light ... otherwise you will burn out the transformer in no time, and the only lightness will be in you wallet, when you have to replace the transformer or perhaps the entire light fixture. Summary: Outstanding quality under-cabinet lights. Bright, good color temperature, dimmable with many standard dimmer switches, easily installed, exceptional build quality. The only drawback is expense.

Installation note: The 9" light requires the ULH-DWM direct wire module. Unlike the 14" and larger versions, the 9" cannot be direct wired.

We replaced a mix of fluorescent and halogen under-cabinet lights with these lights.

Build quality and installation: exceptional. These are heavy, solid units with well-designed physical installation (via captive screws) and electrical installation (easily direct-wired to NM cable). In addition, they can easily be gang-wired with accessory cables, so one unit can be used to power a series of other lights. The accessory cables are an optional purchase. The DWM direct wire module is *not* required for any size other than the 9" units, although it can be used with any of them and does provide the potential for an easy, neat solution for installations where there is limited wiring available in the wall. These lights will work with many standard wall dimmer switches.

Light quality/color temperature: We installed 7 of these. They are, by eye, very consistent in appearance. The light appears to be near-daylight temp, definitely not the cool blue that less expensive LEDs often produce. This is important in a kitchen setting, where judging things like the appearance of fruits and vegetables can be affected by the color temperature of the light. The angle of light from these lights is relatively wide, which is not only useful for illuminating the counters and things on them, but also provides a very nice wash on the walls under the cabinets. Our walls are tile and this is the first time that we've been able to really see the tiles on the walls between the countertop and the cabinets.

Overall, although not inexpensive, these lights are a good value and a good investment.

I started with Juno TracMaster line voltage tracks in our living room and soon discovered that the fixtures make a huge difference in the resultant lighting in a room. We were trying to correct a very poor lighting situation, and the tracks gave us more flexibility, but it took a few tries to learn that we needed to choose the fixtures carefully for the situation. The T809 fixtures with cleverly disguised step-down transformers to light 12-volt halogen lamps solved a tricky problem of putting just enough light on our museum-glazed color photographs without harsh glare or over-lighting of the surroundings. We are still looking for a comparable improvement in throwing ambient light on the cathedral ceiling without "hot spots" or dark shadows.

It's exactly what I expected from the description and picture. The base is fairly heavy so it stays stable. The arms move easily and the joint tighteners are easy to dial in as needed. The light is fairly localized and not spread out, which I like because it tends not to bother others nearby. This is just what a reading lamp should be.

I dropped it once in my driveway just after installing it and now it wobbles back and forth as if something inside has broken.

For something theoretically designed to be attached to a police/defensive weapon, it sure didn't take much punishment. I think I'll try the cheap chinese model next at less than one third the price.

I purchased two of these units for my two ASP LeverLoc 21inch tactical batons.

Within 30 days or use, both flashlights broke.

Without any actual striking or making contact with the baton ( only taking practice swings in the air ) and occasionally *gently* turning the flashlight on, both units broke in separate places. Plastic is shoddy / cracked with no real use at all.

I spent over $100 and now I have two broken lights.

If this has been a survival situation where a flashlight was needed, I would have died.

Others report problems with it being fragile, but I never had any problems with it over the last couple years of light field use. The one gripe I do have is that it's far too dim for the price. If you just absolutely have to have a light on your baton, do yourself a favor and save up a bit more for the high output version with 240 lumens. Otherwise, $75 can buy a significantly brighter flashlight that won't take up much more room on your duty belt or in your pocket.

Having a flashlight at the end of the baton is welcomed addition. Being able to swing the baton around quickly into action makes the light a brilliant addition. This truly makes the light mounted under the barrel of the sidearm or on the baton a toss up. This light is very rugged and doesn't snag on draw.

I had bought this lamp before from Ikea and it appears that they have changed a few things on the design. For one it's a lot shorter than I expected. I should have paid closer attention to the measurements. However, they have vastly improved the construction and it's much easier to assemble than the older version. I like this light a lot and it does put out a very bright white light.

This is a very pretty fixture, has a mid-century look, but the glass part of the pendant we received was defective. We weren't able to get it straight. After sending a picture to Philips they agreed the glass was "off" and had us return it to Amazon. Amazon didn't have anymore in stock so we had to go with a different fixture.

I can't believe I'd be buying a ceiling fan off Amazon! I looked in every home-improvement store and then online fan stores and finally found exactly what I wanted here! I was looking for light-colored blades and everywhere I went they just sold dark blades (just like all the furniture is going 'dark' now). I wanted satin nickel to match all my other fixtures and that was also hard to find combined with the light blades. I didn't want a domed light like so many fans have, I need several lights to point in different directions. I needed a reversible-direction motor.

This one fit all my criteria for $88! It arrived very-well packaged (more intricate than an Apple product!) The manual actually made sense! Installation went smoothly, but it did take two people on ladders. I have been running it daily for over a month (in reverse mode to push heat down from the ceiling while the woodstove is burning) and it is VERY quiet. I bought the correct remote (Savoy RMT001) which was installed with the fan, and it dims the lights nicely and changes the speed of the fan without using the silly (but pretty) pull-chains.

I am very pleased with this product.
