We purchased this light kit to put onto a Hunter Prestige "Headley" model fan. This is one of the nicest fans that Hunter has made, in a long time, and didn't break the budget. The problem was that when it came time to look for another fan for our Master Bedroom, we needed one that had a light fixture. The Headley model didn't come with a light fixture, and I thought that my quest to find a great fan for the MBR, would continue to be a difficult task. Then I found out that Hunter makes specific fixtures, for their Prestige Line of fans. Excitement returned! Now, I could have the large fan that was needed in the high vaulted ceiling, and not lose a light fixture!What we didn't know, was the light fixture has a pretty leaf pattern, in the glass. The picture shows it, but you can hardly see that it is prominent on the globe. The fixture also takes regular base bulbs,,,a huge bonus as the candelabra, bulbs don't put off as much light, and the CFL bulbs, are expensive for the tiny based bulbs. This fixture also come with two CFL bulbs, saving you a further amount, by not having to purchase bulbs. Make note that the glass globe, is a darker creamy bisque color. If you are looking for a whiter light fixture, this one is not for you.
