The lamp completes my bed room!!!! It offers a reading lamp plus the torchiere gives a soft glow to the ceiling.

This lamp is perfect for my needs. I just ordered a 2nd after making sure I liked the first. They stand behind my sectional couch, providing beautiful uplight and then allowing us to sit on the couch and read. I look into the family room from the kitchen and they do not block the view of the room (and the TV). They are quite tall (71") and you will need more mid-level lighting in your room, unless you just want to keep the reading light on and angle it up. Both lights dim, the controls are handy and this is one beautiful lamp, it's like a piece of art.

Before I purchased the kit, I actually went to the Inspired LED site to check out for more information (you can do a web search to find them). They pretty much offer the same thing with the same price. But I did find the recommendation of a wall box to deal with the wires coming out of the wall (from my existing undercounter light. I want to reuse the existing wall switch so I need something to fix up the wires to make it more tidy. It is a bit heard to find since it is sourced through a different supplier. If you want, you can see my other reviews on that wall box (and power brick as well).

Without the dimmer, the light is adequate so I did not even bother hooking up the dimmer. I know I order the cool white version, so I have no issue with the coolness of the light. It is the same as my old flourescent.

There are probably too many long wires and too few short ones.

Since I need an extra bar and they are not available from Amazon, I end up ordering an extension kit (extra light bar) from Inspired LED site. If you need extras, you can go there and order directly.

The double side tape does not work well with my cabinet's wood surface, and I replace them with my own tape (3M varieties) and these works fine.

This is the second time I order this combo; and they work incredible well.

The combo includes everything you need to install 3 "lamps" of 18 inches long each. The "Cool white" its as white as a standard fluorescent tube light, and with the transparent acrylic case you get a nice distribution of light without "zebra-like" spots.

The nice thing with these LED light that you will never have with Fluorescent lights or those Spiral bulbs is DIMMER! I like to control the amount of light under my cabinets or on my desk; and these lights have a 4-steps dimmer.

These lights are very easy to install. These lights put off a nice bright light and work great. I dropped the lights on the counter a few times while installing them and they survived just fine. I only wish they were thinner, although I think, because they are in the kitchen I think these are better than the ribbon lights because they'll be easier to clean. Oil, meat, etc... fly everywhere when you cut or cook and thus installed lights need to be easy to clean, so the plastic shell of these is perfect.

The other thing I thought of when I bought these was that if a strip goes out you can just buy a replacement for pretty cheap.

In the end these were well worth the money. We also got the on/off switch because it was smaller and we didn't need the dimming effect. (Our cabinets do not have a lower lip so there's nothing to block the view of the lights and switch so it's nice that they were fairly thin and hidden by most views).

I was trying to find an alternative to hard wiring in some under cabinet lighting as I really have no way to do that at this time (although they do have an option to hardwire these directly to a switch or even a dimmer switch). I found these and was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews but I thought I'd give them a shot and if I didn't like them, I'd just return them. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged them in for the first time. They are thin in profile and have a good look to them. They also were much brighter than I expected. Don't get me wrong, they aren't flood lights but they are pretty bright and do exactly what I need them to do. I also like the fact that they easily daisy chain together and install very easily. I bought the cool white ones and am very happy.

Pros: thin profile, sleek looking, pretty bright, easy to install, easy to expand system and connect lights

Such a great product and customer service! We absolutely LOVE these lights. 4 brightness settings. Everything you need to install. Literally plug 'n' play lights. So easy to install.

The 1 and 2 lower light settings are great for low, accent lighting, while the 3 and 4 brightness settings are bright enough provide more than adequate light for the counter tops.

I literally had an electrician inquire about them. He told me how great they looked and that it was a good price. (I had him over to get a quote for some other projects and it came up in conversation, so he asked to see them.)

So far, the light looks good. At first i thought the lighting was too dim, but failed to realize it has multiple lighting settings. If you push the button more than once it gets brighter each time, i think a total of 3 lighting settings. IT looks great and overall the product seems to be decent quality.

I was looking for a contemporary flush mount light at Home Depot and Lowes and couldn't find anything that I liked. We needed track lights for a vaulted ceiling in our living room, and I decided to go with these after much research. I didn't want to pay a ton of money, and wanted real track lights vs. a light fixture. These are about 4 feet wide, and while the light heads are very small relative to other track lights I've seen, they are very bright and even one set can substantially light a room. I replaced the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094BDAHG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8) so that I'd never have to climb up a ladder and change the bulbs. These particular LED lights are dimmable. Our electrician installed the lights for us, and we purchased a Pro Track connector to join two 3-light kits together into a single, 6-light track and stretch it across our ceiling.

Pros:

Very bright

Compact these aren't huge and clunky, but they do pack a lot of punch from a lighting standpoint

Compatible with LED lights

Blend nicely into our white ceiling

Cons:

Almost too bright I'm worried these will be blinding when we're sitting under them trying to watch TV. These might be better for highlighting artwork against a wall than as a primary light source for a room.

Perhaps not as attractive as a light fixture.

First of all the Satco box itself was damaged, and still they sent it I could tell it had been damaged in the factory because the shipping info was on top of the damaged area and scotch taped over.

The image shown on the Amazon site is very deceiving. In actuality while the Par 30 lamp is held in place by a ring the rest of the light bulb is exposed except where it enters the socket. But no where do you see that. Once you screw the bulb in place to the gimbal ring, the bulb has a tendency to fall out of the ring whenever you try to adjust the angle. Very dangerous. On top of that, the whole structure of the track light is flimsy. Do not buy this track light. I ordered two and returned them immediately. No wonder the box was damaged the Satco track lights probably have been returned many times already. This is the worst thing I have ever ordered from Amazon.

I installed six of these light fixtures on 12' of rail at a ceiling height of 14 ft. Since the wall was so tall, I mixed 3 Par 30 led for the upper portion and 3 Par 38 led for the lower portion. Yes, some of the rear of the bulb is exposed, however because of the tilt of the fixture it is not noticeable after installation. They work great and look good.

I have LED lights and the PAR30 LED lights are often shaped a bit wider or bumpier around the front bezel. These fixtures have a spring clamp and a hard metal ring to hold the light. So, if shape is not exact, the bulb will not fit. These are NOT like normal fixtures which hold the bulb by its screw in base. That is, the other 110V track fixtures for PAR30 I have attach to the track by the screw-base and so can handle any size bulb. These attach by the front ring and the base just is held there by the bulb. So, if the bulb pops from the spring, it will dangle by the wire. Not a good design in my view.

I see a lot of reviewers complain about the packaging. I dont understand how they would break during transport, whats more likely happened, is they attempted to pull the packaging cubes off the lights, resulting in it breaking. just unscrew the light, pull off the packaging. light is Awesome, everything id hope it would be!

First I tried a cheap light from a local discount store & had tall skinny seedlings. This light is a huge improvement. My plants look better than the starter plants at the store. Well worth the money. In fact I will probably order another one!

No wiring,plug it in and turn it on.......love it, brighter than all get out. I talked to a guy who has replaced all of his HID lights in favor of banks of T-5's. His logic was that he could get the t-5's so close to his plants without harming them, that the plants were actually recieving more lumens than with a 1000 watt HID......that's quite a claim!! I'm not sure if he is correct, but I wouldn't be surprised at all, this thing is much brighter than the 6 bulb T-8 fixture that I also have......

I have wanted this 36" wide eagle for a few years now. It's been on my Amazon wish list for at least three years. NOW, thanks to Paul, it is MINE!! ((( hugs to Paul )))

Seems to be cast aluminum, however its weight seems much heavier than what I expected aluminum to be. It comes in three pieces (2 wings, 1 body) which are carefully mounted onto sturdy pieces of cardboard and then a heavy clear plastic is shrink-wrapped over the entire piece.

Since the weather prevents me from mounting this to the house right now (Christmas time), I will update my review when it is complete installed. But for now, I am very thrilled to have it and highly recommend this to others!
