Discount PAR-36 LED Light
I installed these a deck lights on my 33 foot sailboat, replacing the two burned out halogen bulbs. These things are incredibly bright! It's like daylight outside when I have them on. I've only used them a couple of times but based on the quality, expect them to last. I will update my review if I have any problems but so far, so good.

Reviews of Lava Lite 5320 16.3-inch/52 oz. Designer Lava Lamp, Red Wax/Yellow
Introduction: This company claims to make the "original" lava lamps because they invented the "Lava" name, but they licensed the actual product from the British company Crestworth, which started the production of this kind of lamps in the early 1960s and changed its name to Mathmos in the 1990s. A friend of mine has a truly "original" Mathmos lamp from the 1990s, which has pretty uniformly-colored water and wax from the bottom to the top when it is on. I have never seen a lamp of this quality from Lava Lite, but the Lava Lites are also much cheaper than corresponding products from Mathmos (which are not officially sold in the U.S.).
I got my first Lava Lite 16.3" lamp about 1 1/2 years ago. When it was on, the water and the wax showed the color of the (white) light bulb at the bottom and became more colorful towards the top, but the water was clear and wax bubbles were going up and down as they should. I liked it. Unfortunately this lamp was destroyed by a cleaning lady a few weeks ago.
My new lamp from Amazon is exactly the same model, but when it arrived two weeks ago, the water was very cloudy, and this has not changed so far. When the lamp is on and I look at it from a close distance, I can see the wax bubbles, but while the water is more cloudy than in the old lamp, the wax seems to be more transparent the desired effect of colorful wax bubbles moving in clear purple-colored water does not occur at all; from a distance it looks like an illuminated bottle of thin pomegranate juice. I am too lazy to send this $20 item back to Amazon, and some people say the cloudiness may disappear in a few weeks, thus I will keep this lamp and see what happens, but I am disappointed. And I don't understand why this new lamp is so much worse than the first one is it from a different factory? Was it shaken too much during shipping? Is it a "refurbished" lamp that was not treated right by its previous owner? Many other customers seem to have very similar problems with Lava Lite lamps. On the basis of these experiences I cannot recommend this product. Try to get the British one if you can.
1 If you receive a lamp with the liquid so cloudy that you cant see the lava, send it back for replacement.
these require special handling in shipment and must not be shaken or rattled. It should be shipped in an upright
possition.
2 After removing your LL from its box, you will see a round coil, possibly imbedded in some solid lava.
Try to get that coil down to the bottom near the bulb. If the coil will not lay on the bottom because of the wax,
just place the lamp in the base and turn the lamp on. It may take several hours for the wax to
melt enough to free the coil so it can rest on the bottom but do not leave the lamp on for more than 6 hours even
if the coil is not yet on the bottom.
Wait until the lamp is room temp and try again, NEVER leave the lamp on more than 6 hours.
3 Eventually, the wax will melt and the coil will settle on the bottom.
4 Never shake or even move the lamp while it's hot and the lava is flowing.
5 Check the bulb placement. The light bulb MUST be exactly dead center. If not, you can move it while it is cool.
6 Do not place your LL in a cold room (50 or less) because the wax will solidify too fast and eventually, it will
break-up into tiny globs.
7 One more time, most important (I dont care what someone else said), DO NOT leave your LL on for more then 6 HOURS.
If you do, the lava will break up into tiny beads and will never form a solid mass again. It will look like a mess
and it wont even move.
8 Buy your LL from someone you can trust and has a good return policy (like Amazon) because alot of LLs are received
damaged in shipping. Rough handling will cause the "cloudy" look where the wax has been mixed with the liquid.
9 If you want to see the lava at it's best, avoid the ones with dark colored liquid and light color lava because it
will be difficult to see the lava through the liquid. Clear liquid, or light blue or green works best for lava visibility :)
I have owned dozens of LLs in my life. Got my first one back in the 60's, and they made them much better back then.
Have fun with your LL and remember the 60's when life was less stressfull :)
I haven't had a lava lamp since I was little and I forgot how fun and hypnotic they are to watch! Recommended!
I have to say that Amazon shipped the lava lamp package in a box with no packing material thank goodness it didn't break. Not impressed with that part, but of course that's no reflection on the product. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the longevity of the lava lamp but it's off to a great start.
I contacted Lava lite who told me to return it to Amazon. Amazon is just terriffic about returns. In two days I got a shipping label and the defective lite was on it's way. 1 star for Lava Lite but 5 for Amazon!

Reading the reviews here, I was really wary of buying this item at all... It seems that the lamps with the "clear" fluid have issues with being very cloudy. So perhaps steer clear of those. I went with the version that has yellow lava and purple fluid. At first I thought that this combination of colors was going to look kind of tacky and not as classic as the red lava/clear fluid versions. I went for it anyway. I love the colors. The lava at the bottom looks like molten gold and as it rises, it looks reddish at the top. It pretty much looks like the cartoon image they show on the product page. The fluid is a pale purple and very clear. When it arrived, there were little flakes of "lava" (the wax) all throughout the fluid and I was a little worried about whether the flakes would disappear with use or if they would always "dirty" the fluid. Well, after running the lamp for about 4 hours, all the flakes of wax melted into the main blobs and the fluid is totally clear. It looks great and I'm really happy I got this larger size. So nice and way more affordable than the tiny ones I saw locally for twice the price.I haven't had a lava lamp since I was little and I forgot how fun and hypnotic they are to watch! Recommended!

Honest reviews on Lava Lite 5320 16.3-inch/52 oz. Designer Lava Lamp, Red Wax/Yellow
After reading these reviews, I decided to roll the dice and see if I could get a good lamp. I got a murky disgusting looking swamp bottle. I saw someone posted that the company has discovered a flaw in their manufacturing process, but I have no idea if that's true. Even if it is, who knows what that means or when/if we will be able to reliably get a good product from the end retailers. Steer far clear of this product. I posted some pictures here so you can see what you're probably going to get.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lava Lite 5320 16.3-inch/52 oz. Designer Lava Lamp, Red Wax/Yellow
Lava Lites were first popular when I was a teenager. I was glad to see they were making a comeback and have been for several years. I bought two at the same time; this one and a glitter Lite. The glitter works fine but this one doesn't. I followed all instructions and the light worked but once. Each time I turned it on the Lava sits on the bottom and doesn't move.I contacted Lava lite who told me to return it to Amazon. Amazon is just terriffic about returns. Single Pendant Light with a Round Colored Glass Shade Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $93.15
Sale Price: $78.55
Today's Bonus: 16% Off

I ordered three of these pendants to hang in a row in a new kitchen. They arrived on time and in good condition although it was strange that two came as one order, and the third came as a separate order from a different location even though they were ordered as a quantity of 3 at the same time showing plenty in stock. However, while preparing to install we noted that one of the three lamps was visually different than that other two. It had small round balls on the ceiling screw attachment and the other two had small metal cylinders. But MOST importantly is that the two that arrived together with the cylindrical mounting screws have a HORRIBLE bright green wire running through the clear electrical cord! This not only looks ridiculous and stands out like a sore thumb hanging against the wall, but is visually different than the third lamp which does not have this green cord. Obviously these lamps are made by two different companies. So the dilemma is do you send just the two horrible green wire products back and reorder and hope to not get a repeat of the green wire situation or send all three back and choose something different. I would not recommend anyone order these products until the manufacturer assures this has been sorted out. Sad, as it was a nice clean lamp for the price.
Update: After weeks of back and forth, Amazon customer service has gone the extra mile in trying to solve this mismatch issue. However it took SIX lamps to get three that are even "close" (still not perfect) to the same appearance. The quality of this product is so poor that half of them were unusable with holes in the glass being so mismatched that the shades would not even fit, defects in glass, different sizes in diameter, different metal attachment screws, I could go on and on. Thank you Amazon as always for doing your best to satisfy, but bottom-line consumers stay clear of this very poorly made product!Bought this for my dining room, and I'm very happy with the warm and cozy glow of the lamp. It reminds me of the light you see in magazines depicting a log home with the amber illumination in the the windows. It comes with quite a long cord so even if you have higher than normal ceilings you should be okay. I did not think of taking the measurement so I can't report it accurately, but if that is a concern just check with the seller, and they will be able to tell you.

Review of Philips 22001UVX1 Blue/Black High Performance LED Inspection Lamp
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $136.99
Sale Price: $90.67

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program If you are looking for a bright close proximity work light, this just might be the light you want. It has 15 bright white LED's that provide a circular beam, even though they are in a rectangular pattern on the light. The housing is nice and durable, with a waterproof soft rubber-like grip it is easy to hold, but you really don't have to hold this light. At the top there is a hook that pulls out. It is a little hard to pull out at first, but that is probably a good thing, or else it might just be flying out when you don't want it to. Once the hook is fully extended it has the ability to turn 360 degrees, it is also notched so that it stays wherever you place it. There is also a strong magnetic stand with a flexible gooseneck which the light clips into. Watch out, the clips scuff up the grip of this light. I have only had it in and out of the stand a few times and it already looks like I have used this light for months. I wonder if continuous use of this clip will tear the grip up. It is something to think about. The stand provides convenient hands free use provided you have a magnetic surface to set it on or hang it from. The on/off switch is conveniently place on the rear of the light right where your thumb should be making it easy to turn on or off. If this switch is held down for a few seconds when the unit is off it activates the Ultra Violet light which emits from the top. This is used to check for leaks under the hood of a car, or you can use it to illuminate the black light posters hanging on your wall, the choice is yours. The charging dock is nice and substantial, it can be placed on a workbench, or mounted on the wall with the enclosed screws. Although the battery is supposed to last for 6 hours I haven't had to charge it yet. When you do charge it there is a blue light that blinks, then turns solid when it is fully charged. The Philips 22001UVX1 has a nice bright beam, although it does tend to have a yellow hue around its edges. The center of the beam is a pure bright white. Its 15 LED's emit a nice focused beam for close proximity use (1200 lux at .5 meters) . Although it could be used as a flashlight, the extreme brightness decays the further the beam is thrown away from the light, though I wouldn't want to look directly in it from any distance, but it still does a pretty good job. The documentation included with this light is nothing more than a small pamphlet full of diagrams that need to be deciphered to understand so that the same one can be used for sixteen languages. Pretty weak Philips. There is also a one year warranty in actual words, not pictures. The Li-ion 2200mAh 3.7V battery is not covered under the warranty. Is it worth the premium price Philips is asking? I don't know, but I haven't checked out the competitors either. This is a professional automotive lighting instrument from Philips Automotive Lighting Division.
Update: This light proved to be a lifesaver during Hurricane Sandy. The power was out for a week and this light sure did come in handy. We even used it to cook meals on the gas stove in the kitchen. Using the magnetic base, we stuck the light on the refrigerator, providing more than enough light for cooking, it lit up the entire kitchen. Of course, we used it for much more, and we were able to recharge it on the generator. The light never lost its charge throughout this ordeal, but we recharged it daily, because we did not want to be without it!
Still, the light is great. Bright, good light, and a charge lasts a long time.
In contrast, the charging stand is disappointingly lightweight, and when I opened the box, one of the rubber feet that fits in the bottom was loose in the box. Replacing it, I wasn't too impressed with the fit, but as long as you aren't hard on the base, it should be fine.
The magnetic hook holder is pretty cool, if rather stiff and difficult to pull out and rotate, though it shows signs of loosening up. It's a big magnet with a hook to hang the light from, obviously intended to attach to the inside of vehicle hoods to help illuminate the working area. The hook works great on any strong metal surface. My mate owns vending machines and absconds with the light and hook any time he needs to work on one. He says it lights things up for repairs in dark spaces better than anything else he's ever used. Right now, the hook is sticking to the side of the refrigerator, holding the light, which is illuminating the kitchen for the night because the overhead light died a little while ago. The hook lets us put the light right where we need it and made cooking dinner easy -if we'd had to rely on a flashlight, we'd have given up and gone out.
That brings me to what I feel is the best thing about this product. In an emergency, this six-hour rechargeable light is an absolute godsend. It's bright, tough, and reliable and whether there's a power outage indoors or a need to see outdoors, this is a great tool. I especially like that it can be recharged with a car adapter for use during travel.
The light also includes a black light for spotting automotive leaks; we find it useful for searching out cat urine. The instructions are impossible, but happily are unnecessary because it's easy to figure out how the light works. The biggest drawback is the price, which I feel is way too steep for what you get. Overall, we like the light, but I would definitely shop around before deciding on it.
THis light has other funtions. The PHILIPS flashlight is marketed as an inspection light, because there's some UV LED lights on the top. If you have a leak in your radiator fluid, the fluid will glow. Also, there's a stand with 3 strong magnets in the base, so you can slap it in place on sheet metal. The top of the stand holds the light in lots of various posistions, for checking out the car engine. (The photo shows the charging dock, not this stand.) The obvious benefit here, is not electrical cord getting in your way, and no light bulb to burn your forearm on. I'd say the flashlight is as bright as a 30 40 WATT light bulb. Even tho there are 15 individual LED lights, you still get a focused round bright spot. On top of the light there's a hook, you can pull out so you can hook the light for hanging up. Be warned...that hook is tricky to pull out of the top of the flashlight. At first, I couldnt figure out how to turn on the Black light LEDs. With the flashlight OFF, push and HOLD the "ON" button, for about 10 seconds. That turns on the black light.
I also own a KNUCKLEHEAD rechargable flashlight from AMAZON. The KNUCKLEHEAD is a little more expensive, but you can charge it from your car cigarette lighter. Also, the magnet that can hold the Knucklehead onto sheet metal is not on a seperate holder, but part of the flashlight. (One less thing to get lost.) The light is more spread out with the Knucklehead, and since the head swivels, you might find it to be more easy to focus. However, the Knucklehead DOES NOT HAVE THE BLACK LIGHT LED fuction. If you are checking for leaks in the radiator, you WILL NEED this. The Knucklehead has an adapter, so you can slide in 4 AA batteries for the light, when the rechargable Lithium battery fails. This obviously extends it use as an emergency light. Both rechargable flashlights are in the same ballpark, if you arent planning to use one of them for inspecting your car. Right now, the PHILIPS FLASHLIGHT is much cheaper here on AMAZON, than the knucklehead.

I'm giving this light 5-stars although it is with some hesitation. The light itself is a solid 5-star product, but the charging stand could be better. It's very light-weight, I would have liked a weight in the bottom to make it stay in place better. Also, the spring loaded contacts that charge the light do not always make contact. I have to wiggle the light until the charge indicator comes on.Still, the light is great. Bright, good light, and a charge lasts a long time.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program If Hurricanes, ice storms or violent thunderstorms are a threat to you, you MIGHT want to consider a rechargable flashlight, like this PHILIPS model. During the onslaught of SANDY, I wasnt running around from store to store, looking for "D" cell batteries, thanks to this flashlight. (I was in the stores buying bottled water, and ALL the "D" batteries were GONE.) My Philips flashlight sat on my kitchen counter in its charging dock. The little blue LED light was on, letting me know that the flashlight was fully charged. If the lights had gone out, that light would have STILL stayed lit, until I took the flashlight off the dock stand. When you use the light, and put it back on the stand, the blue light flashes, indicating its charging. This was a firm comfort. When I saw I wasnt going to need the flashlight, I left it burn constantly until the batteries fully discharged...well over 6 hours later. If you bought this for NO other reason, than to counter the fear of these bizarre global warming storms, you'll have piece of mind. Plus, you'll save a LOT of money not having to buy D batteries.THis light has other funtions. The PHILIPS flashlight is marketed as an inspection light, because there's some UV LED lights on the top.

11/20/09 I just received this item, which I ordered for my sister's birthday. There's no shade! The picture on Amazon shows a shade, the Amazon description specifically mentions the shade ("12" diameter white Shantung shade"), the box itself has a picture of a lamp with a shade, WHAT'S WITH THAT?! I will be contacting Amazon/Bargain Outfitters and returning this item if they can't provide a shade. Very disappointing, especially since this was a birthday gift.
update: I contacted Amazon and Bargain Outfitters and they responded immediately, stating that a shade will be sent immediately. When I receive the shade, I will update and (presumably) increase the stars for this review.
8/16/13: sorry for the tardy update. The shade came, it's very pretty, and my sister loves the lamp.We bought these lamps form Kenroy Home and they are great.look so pretty in the bedroom. Kelroy Home was very helpful and when I called about not receiving the cord covers Kelroy customer service could not have been nicer... If you need wall lamps buy these and from Kelroy Home......

The lamp looks cheap and is made poorly. The shade was crumpled and looked terrible. I instantly returned it, unfortunately I had to try to get it back into all the Styrofoam it was packed in.
Given the overall quality of the lamp, I don't think it's worth the price.

Very substantial lamp -heavy base (picture doesn't do it justice) and nice shade. Not terribly bright light so you probably can't read by it, but it provides warm light for dark area.Best Deals for Kenroy Homes Niche Floor Lamp in a Oil Rubbed Bronze with an Amber
I loved the look of this lamp. Unfortunately though when I received the lamp, the post that holds the bulb and lamp shade was severely crooked which caused the lamp shade to lay uneven. The shipping box was in fine condition so I think this was a manufacturing issue.Given the overall quality of the lamp, I don't think it's worth the price.

These went in the guest bathroom and replaced the old marquee style with four balloon bulbs coming straight out, what a welcome change! They look nice, and I think we got a bargain but they don't look cheap at all.
Once I turned the switch off and regained my senses, I put this thing on. Very intuitive. Didn't need to follow the instructions. Everything was pretty self explanatory. The lamps are a little crooked and not straight with each other, so if you are OCD, it might drive you nuts. I fiddled with it for a few minutes and then let it go.
The oil rubbed bronze on it is painted on, not real metal, if anyone cares about that sort of thing.

My old silver vanity set was getting rusty from all the steam in the bathroom, and I'm not just talking about from the shower! So I had to replace it. I quickly removed it but forgot to turn off the switch, and got electrocuted pretty darn good. Black Tai Himalayan Salt Lamp 40-50 Lbs Extra Large Free Fedex Reviews
I LOVE this lamp. I had a 7 pound which is about 10 inches high from base to top. This stands a good 18 to 24 inches tall and they aren't kidding on the weight. I had trouble getting this from the box to the counter where I wanted it. I think the price is great for this size lamp!! The lamp is one of the first things you see when you walk in my place and every newcomer walks straight over to the lamp and has to touch it in awe. How cool is that! So not my reason for buying it but cool.
I got the lamp because a friend of mine had one and I notice his place smelled ocean air fresh every time I walked in and he was a sucky house keeper. Now that said, for those complaining it doesn't work here is what I found out. It absorbs moisture from the air to give off the neg ions and freshen the air etc. In the summer when I first got this I was disappointed that I didn't notice that overwhelming fresh air smell when I walked in. Well, what I noticed was I had the air conditioner on 24/7 which takes the moisture out of the air and therefore the lamps weren't working to their full potential. They did work some but not like it with it does with no air conditioning.
I took the advice of Jacob Shealy (thank you) and increased the bulb size on both my lamps. I went with a larger bulb. I got the fame shaped bulb, 60w and yes it does warm it up nicely and probably does a nicer job of doing its thing of neg ions and cleaning the air. (and neutralizing pos ions). It is still a very soft orangish relaxing glow. Look around, I found a pack of 20 bulbs for only about $3.00! The bulb last a long time though. I turn it off at night otherwise it is on a good 12-14 hours a day. I would leave it on all the time but it is too bright for sleeping for my liking. ( I have a small place).
I have it next to a plant and I actually rotate my plants near it because they seem to have a `relationship' with this light. Lol. They want to grow around it. I have all my plants with a grow light or a full spectrum bulb on them but they love this salt lamp. I would say that is a good blind study.
As an ionizer, it must work. I have it next to me where I use my laptop. I can start getting pretty jittery after awhile but not with the light on next to me. I also see a naturopathic doctor which scans for emf radiation and I check out really well on that. I have allergies and I am asthmatic and I do notice a difference in my breathing. The air is much `lighter' to breath!
As for size. This size lamp (40 to 50lbs) is suppose to cover a 30 x 30 Sq Ft.
For other size choices:
4-5 lb covers 8 x 8 Sq Ft
6-8 lb covers 10 x 10 Sq Ft
9-11 lb covers 12 x 12 Sq Ft
13-17 lb covers 14 x 14 Sq Ft
20-30 lb covers 18 x 18 Sq Ft
30-40 lb covers 20 x 20 Sq Ft
4080 lb covers 30 x 30 Sq Ft
I have no complaints on quality, price, customer service, the stunning looks or health benefits it says it does.
Pros: Weighed in at exactly 45.5 lbs on arrival, so a very fair size. The cut they gave me is absolutely gorgeous on the front, really pro job of keeping it rugged and unique looking, but smooth to the touch. Overall it is a very pure stone, a few small and scattered "spots" or "impurities" on the backside, and it has some natural "fissures" inside that light up very nicely when it's turned on. I'd give it an overall A+ of a cut/quality. Arrived in 2 business days of purchase, and they called to let me know when it shipped.
Cons: came with a 4 watt light-bulb. Seriously guys? First thing I did was spend an extra $3 and buy a 60w bulb which is really their bad in my opinion, but not enough to take off a star. 60w heats it very nicely, lightly warm, but by no means hot to the touch, and lights perfectly. I also invested an extra $20 in a dimmer, which I would consider very important, as I can choose the brightness at night to an luminescent glow just like the stones in The Temple of Doom, or a practical light. Per previous reviewer, no, there isn't a way to "secure" the lightbulb, as it sits nicely inside, but to be honest I don't know how they would do it otherwise and still let you change the bulb. Not an issue in my opinion, stays in when picked up, and makes for easy bulb change.
Other: Ok, so if you've heard about this things "rejuvenating power" and all that hocus pocus, I've had this thing for a week, and it's a bunch of crap. I will admit I have used 4 less tissues per day out of 15 prior since I got it (yes I actually kept track, as I have allergies, and was curious). So I can't completely discount it's claim entirely, but will say that if you buy this salt lamp, get it because it's an awesome lamp, and a great conversation piece. Not because it "purifies the air".
While it took a bit of persistence Amazon's A Z Guarantee took care of this issue. My faith is restored in Amazon, but I certainly will never make the mistake of ordering from a retailer that has a rating of less than 98%. THANK YOU Amazon!
Original review:
The lamps themselves are absolutely beautiful. The base to the lights are much nicer than normal, along with a nicer light cord than typical, and also a 15 watt bulb, vs a measly 5 watt bulb. The shipping was shockingly fast and all the items were very well packed.
It is the seller, Black Thai Salt Company (BTSC), that you need to be weary of. Three of the eight lights in my order were severely underweight. One globe light that was to be 9 11 ponds weighed 3.5 pounds. One 40 50 pound light weighed 33 pounds and another one weighed 34 pounds. The remaining five lights were all at the bottom range of the weight possibilities. If the other lights had been over range or at the very top end of the range I would have let all go.
I tried numerous times to rectify the issue by e-mail. I was actually so happy initially with the seller admitting to the error and with the lights themselves that instead of asking for a refund I offered to figure out the credit due to me and I would order an additional three lights. The problem was the 3.5 pound light received is not listed on the seller's site and he refused to tell me how much it retails for so I never could get to a final credit amount. With the guess on the globe light in question the amount in questions is probably about $60.
The seller instead insisted e-mails were confusing and REQUIRED that I call, but he did not offer office hours until after I tried to call and he was closed. The seller would offer no solutions initially and refused to advise what was confusing about my offered solutions. Ultimately the seller offered ~40% refund on what I was jipped, GEE thanks!
If you order make sure to weigh the lamp(s)!

GENERAL: I was looking for a creative lamp for my apartment, and saw this while surfing the web. Excellent purchase, so glad I decided to buy it, and to be honest, most lamps you buy that are of quality are going to be just as much and more, so try not to gawk too much at the price (almost $100 with shipping). Now I am a guy, and was a little nervous about it being pinkish, but when it arrived, is really a neutral/non-femenine kind of orangeishish pink. And to sum it up, after a week, I give it 5 stars *****Pros: Weighed in at exactly 45.5 lbs on arrival, so a very fair size. First of all when I received this lamp it looked like the box was kicked and tossed every mile to it's destination. Like another reviewer, I was a bit apprehensive of the condition of the contents inside. The lamp did make it through it's traumatic journey in one piece. I plugged it in using the light bulb sent with it and there was barely any light emanating from within the lamp. So I exchanged it for the 60 watt candelabra light bulb. The light from within was a little brighter, however, only one side of the lamp reflects light, but only 3/4's of the way up. The rest is dark. I have 3 other salt lamps from another source and those light up correctly. I don't know if I received a defective one or what. I've written to the company stating the problem and hope to hear from them soon. If and when I do, I'll update this review. For now I think I'm being generous by giving them a 2 star rating.Update: I'm downgrading my star rating to a one star with the explanation in the comments section.

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $134.99
Sale Price: $111.56

Needed a white five-blade 52" fan with a light that would be truly flush mount for a bedroom turned into an office. Until a couple of months ago, Hunter did not have one. When this model appeared I bought i tright away. Do yourself a favor and don't buy the cheap Hapton Bay fans. They are loud, prone to rubbing noises, and break in a few years. Hunter is the best.
Pros:
Exceptionally quiet
Great design for mounting to ceiling electrical box
color is fine Blades are white (just not as white as the motor cover)
Straightforward instructions if not for the missing screws (see below) it would have been installed in 30 mins start to finish.
iIcludes a CFL 14/60 watt bulb
Cons:
Was missing two of the screws needed to attach motor cover. Had to dig around in my pile of leftovers from other projects to find some that would fit
The glass bulb is large, so overall the unit hangs down lower that I expected.
Overall, it is a great product.
We have several other Hunter fans in white and this one is definitely darker.
I hope Hunter still makes a truly white fan.

I bought this for my girls in Dec 2012. When it came it was scratched and covered in dirt-actual dirt. Many of the plastic crystals were broken and all the replacement parts were all broken. My girls liked the look of the lamp, so I was willing to over look the lack of quality if I could get new replacemnet parts. I e-mailed the seller asking for them and never heard back. The only reason I gave it a 2, was that my girls think its a cute lamp.Honest reviews on ORE International 6866G Floor Lamp, Polished Brass

My little princess needed a new lamp and that's the one we got her and she loves it. It does make rainbows in her room as the light reflects nicely from the glass. It's pretty, but you better place it well. It's very heavy and a child can't move it.Monday, November 25, 2013
