The product arrived very quickly and very well packaged. All construction, look and feel is pretty good and solid; easy to assemble and insert the light bulb, etc. The only reason why I do not give it the fifth star is because it is more of a decorative lamp than a real lamp. Maybe the bulb can be replaced with something stronger. Maybe that is what an "accent lamp" is supposed to be? Other than that, very happy with the product.

I needed some sort of cooling in my shop/building and this fan fit my needs. It's cheap, white in color, moves a lot of air, and to boot comes with a lifetime warranty!
Installation was a breeze. Screw the "J" hook assembly to the electrical box, hook the rubber bushing thats on the down rod of the fan onto the "J" hook, wire it up and you're done! And the nice thing about how it installed was that the rubber bushing that sits on the J hood reduces vibrations and noise caused by the fan being on.
After I had it installed I really didn't like how low it was hanging down from the ceiling... again not a problem. I took it down, removed the down rod from the motor assembly (by removing two nuts and bolts), cut the down rod in half, put it all back together and it looks like it had always been that way.
The only complaint I have is that the speed control that comes with the fan is hideously ugly, huge, and beige. So instead of using it's speed control I bought the Hunter 27181 four speed slide control switch and it seems to be working great (all though I'm hesitant on the quality of the switch).
Great fan (for the price I paid), installed in a snap, looks good, moves air!
Pros:
Cheap.
Installed with NO issues whatsoever.
Modification to the down rod (to move the fan closer to the ceiling) was super easy.
Cons:
Quality seems good enough, though I'm always skeptical for as cheap as it is.

Bought two for a church building. Wanted both controlled by 1 switch so I contacted the manufacturer to see if that was okay (since they use this massive wall speed switch). After consulting their "engineer" they said it should be okay. So, I wired everything up and it worked great. Until, one night I left the fans running overnight. The next morning they were running full-speed (I left them on low). The wall-switch wouldn't control them anymore. Removing the switch, I discovered it had melted inside. So, I swapped it out for the other remaining switch. A couple months later the same thing happened. Not sure if this would happen running just one or not, but from my perspective the product wasn't durable. Plus, it is VERY loud on high.UPDATE: My local home supply company provided me 2 replacement fans, even though the problem was not theirs. When I installed these fans I went ahead and wired them to operate individually. It's been over a year and I have had no problems. So, I guess the main problem is installing them linked together to 1 control.

This lamp is very solidly made, handsome with very clan lins. On-line ordering was easy and quick. The product came befoe it was expeced AND was very well packed. Receiving no damage, even when the delivery person dropped it at the front door. I just love it! However, it seems I ordered the correct style but the incorrect length. Love everything about this fixture--elegant, easy to install, great price--except for one key thing: it says you can use the two-pin fluorescent bulbs OR 100 watt incandescents. I love this lamp! I chose this one based on the reviews of others. It's the perfect height for a nightstand. It doesn't take up too much room due to the narrow base. I found this 11.5 inch light fixture & it matches the 3 smaller ones I have over my kitchen island. I was so pleased to find the larger size to match. I had a recessed can light over my kitchen sink & replaced it with this. I also had to get the recessed can adapter to convert the can fixture to adapt to the pendant light. Big differenceit brings the light source down closer to the sink & creates a better lit area. The weight is heavy... not plastic, but glass. A quality piece that matches my cottage style kitchen with green walls and ivory cabinetry and black drawer pulls.
Highly recommend this brand and the light fixture.

This lamp is gorgeous in a minimalistic, modern, clean, semi-industrial fashion. It was easy to assemble, gives a great quality of light through the shade, and, even better, is height adjustable. The little lever on the side is functional and gives quite a bit of variation in height. It seems as if you get at least a foot, if not more, of variation in height the lamp can be set at. The chrome is shiny and looks great. The shade is a nice vanilla/white hue. The shade is a bit wide though, so check the dimensions of where you want to locate it before you order. It fits where we wanted, but I looked at the measurements and was still a little surprised when we got it set up. Not that it looks bad. The proportion of shade to lamp is perfect. Just the shade does have a larger diameter than is common. The shade is perfect height to black light going right into your eyes while walking by it or sitting near it, but still lets a very nice quality of light out the top and bottom. I'm really, really pleased with this product. I always worry when ordering something like this online, but I am incredibly happy. Easy assembly, great finish, great light, looks better in person. Very happy! Goes perfect with the matching table lamp too! We got both, and again, so happy we did. (If you read my review for the table version, it's the same cut and pasteBut I feel the same about both lamp versions. They are both great)

I received this lamp as a gift. The shade is massive and prevented the lamp from fitting into the corner where I needed it to go. The shade is also a weird upside down type that balances across the lamp under the light bulb rather than screwing into place on top of it like a normal lamp. So I cannot replace the shade with a smaller one. I wish I could return this lamp but again it was ordered for me as a gift so I guess I'm going to have to donate it and buy a new lamp.
