Love this fixture in our half bathroom. The only reason I rated it a 4 star is that each of the shades illuminate a slightly different color of light. One is a bit more golden (which I like) compared to the other. Otherwise a very well-made fixture.

I had been looking for a fan with a light and remote for out bedroom. I hunted through the reviews looking for something that would be suitable. Well made, good reviews on item not breaking down, quiet, looks good, inexpensive. Ended up emailing various manufacturers trying to find light, fan, and remote units that were compatible. Kichler responded with three items, I purchased on line. Handiman installed in an hour. Have had unit 3 months and love it. It looks good, but is unobtrusive, quiet, and does the job.

We ordered one for our master bedroom and liked it so much we ordered one for every room in the house. They look great and are perfectly quiet even on high speed. Each fan comes with a balancing kit but only one had the barest wobble (and the balancing kit took care of that in about 2 minutes.) You can mount these flush to the ceiling (the blades are about 6-8" down from the ceiling that way) or with the included 8" downrod.

Got it here for half the price of the ceiling fan stores. Beautiful fan that is perfectly silent, sturdy and was quick to install. It came with extra pieces as a backup that aren't mentioned in the posting and we actually needed them for my install. Only took the handyman a little bit to put it in. The lighter fan blades shown here in this image are what we used, but the back side is richly dark. May get another for the bedroom this year.

It's way better than what we had, but I had higher hopes. The light bulb placements and sizes result in a weird shadow to be cast that makes it look like there is a burnout bulb. The glass colour is cream, not yellow, not white. The oil rubbed bronze is attractive. My handyman didn't seem to have too much trouble installing it where the old fan light used to be. Recommended with reservations.

I love the design of this item and it is not as loud as some of the others on the market. I only gave it 3 stars though because it does not seem to work very well, it is located in a small room (6'x8') and it does not keep the mirror from fogging up from the shower.

Very happy with this semi mount fixture. Only using 2 100watt bulbs as it is very bright, which is what I wanted. I also love the white cover versus the amber as I needed a clean white light.

Okay so I initially bought these quite skeptically since I already have halogen kitchen lighting that illuminates over my kitchen counter. I bough these solely for design purposes. I also thought that this lighting would be overwhelming and the bullets would be large. This is not the case. The bullets were much smaller than I had anticipated and I was glad. It is a great design with that produces plenty of light. I bought this lighting with other lamps (see my other reviews) so for a design package this goes well. It was VERY easy to put together and the plug in was very simple to snap on. My light bill has also decreased DRAMATICALLY (even with LED ceiling lighting and solar energy). I am very happy with this purchase. The lights are a bit bright so you may need to play with the bullet a bit to get the correct light stream.

I should have know from the price that this light would not be quite as nice as the picutre lends to believe.

First off, the "directions" consist of two sheets of paper, one telling you quantities and the other with 5 steps that are clearly not in real English, and not directions at all. We had to look up the fixtue on the web to be able to get some help.

When installing the flat piece the lights hang off of, I sliced my fingers twice so please be careful! It's a lot more flimsy than it looks in the picture as well.

The last piece we went to install didn't fit, the cover/plate that goes around the actual light socket (where the crystals hang from). I had to use some tin snips and pliers to make the hole bigger. Thankfully that worked.

That all being said, it does look pretty nice now that it's done. So, if you're thinking about this fixture I hope you're electrically handy and ready for a bit of a challenge.

this item should not be used for a big room or even a small room ( 5 light chandelier), a closet maybe , its small,and not very bright.light bulbs are expensive to replace ..we bought the smaller -one lightchandelier at the same time -i will not put it up after seing this one .. for closets only..

The crystals are plastic and clearly don't reflect light as well. I have a small eat in kitchen, and this provides a nice, soft light to eat under, which i prefer to a blaring lamp on my food. It is a nice addition to our kitchen. You do have to attach 80 strands of crystals, and the edges are sharp so BE CAREFUL! I cut myself twice. All in all, we really like it. I was hoping that the reflection would be a little more brilliant, but all in all, i am pleased.

I knew what I was looking for but I didn't want to pay over 200 bucks for a basic fan. I wanted something clean, modern and inexpensive. It looks just like the picture. It is a great quality product for a reasonable price. Note: The blades for the fan had one white side and one "weathered side." The white side is great. The "weathered" side looks like watered down paint it's not a great "weathered" look if that's what you are looking for. I wasn't really concerned because I am using the white side but I just thought I'd note it for others.

It's a beautiful fan and light it was a bit heavier than I expected but was still a room charmer and added class to my bedroom. Absolutely love it keeps the air circulated and helps even out the room temperature, saving on the gas bill and electric bill got to love that.But it does have to be put on a electrical box from the ceiling that can support 50lbs.so something to thank about if you live in a house like mine that was built cheap LOL but no problem putting in a box that could support the weight. Well worth it!!

Bought this product based upon its design and looks. However the tassle was a bit roughed up. The lamp shade actually does not hang from the chain but rather by the electric wire. The strings used to hold the lamp shade make it a puzzle to get a light bulb in the unit. Overall its Ok and fits the decor.

I love non-conventional items and this lamp style matched some moraccan decor I have. I love this lamp for it's appearance. It shipped super packaged in styrofoam. The only bad thing I can say is the tassle parts at the top came unravled but I applied the use of some glue to put it back together. The shade is a bit sheer compared to it's appearance in the picture so using a lower wattage bulb was more appealing.

The lamp looks good. Works great. Sturdy. Good price. I recommend a 40 watt bulb. Easy to put together. The lamp was packaged by the son of Satan. Do not open it inside your house. The middle of the Sahara Desert would be a good choice. It was packed with a solid styrofoam material that falls apart into tiny pieces when you touch it. The stuff sticks to everyting in sight. I spent over an hour with a vacuum cleaner getting the stuff off of me, the lamp and everything within a 10 foot radius. My garbage collector now looks at me with disgust and loathing.

I received the two Tiffany-style pole lamps today, which I ordered. They are described as having a "glass" shade, made of 200+ pieces of "stained glass," and so on. However, this is absolutely not glass. There is no glass whatsoever in this item. The shade is made of 100% plastic. I worked with stained glass for many years, cutting stained glass, fitting the pieces in lead came, and soldering the assembly. I am amazed that the description is not accurate and honest: This is made of a plastic, or plastic-like material and it is not worth the price that is quoted. The description is deceptive and passes off a cheap plastic item as one that is made of real glass. If this were glass, it would be far heavier than it is. If this were actually glass, I would give it 5 stars.

As stated in other reviews, the shade is NOT made from cut glass, but plastic. It isn't surprising considering the cost of a little over one hundred dollars, but it is disappointing. Additionally there are other quality issues; the whole lamp leans a bit and the wings on the dragonflies aren't all straight. I am keeping it because it does serve the purpose of lighting up the back of the living room while being colorful and because my carpeting bulge next to the wall counteracts the leaning. As long as you don't look at it too closely it's acceptable.
