I've had the Lumiy 1350 for about 2 weeks now. My comments are as follows.

Design:

In regards to design, my initial reaction was surprise to how small the box I received was. The head and foot of the lamp is flat and its neck is flexible, so it doesn't take up much space in either its box or my desk. The lamp comes split into 3 pieces: head+neck, base, and power cord. Setting it up is very simple and the neck does not seem to have any rotation limitations based on my use.

Features + Performance:

The lamp features touch controls which are cool, but the "buttons" can be hard to see. The only indicator given is on the power switch in the center that features a red light when off. This light disappears when the lamp is turned on. I'm not sure if it's because I received my lamp in black but I initially found myself struggling to find the proper buttons due to lack of sight. This however is a minor issue once memory of button placement kicks in after a day or so.

The brightness is adjustable at 3 levels: low, medium, and high, plus interchangeable between cool and warm lighting. This lamp on its highest setting is extremely bright. With that said, it should be understood that this is a desk lamp that is better used for "focus". This means it is best placed closer to your reading, writing, and/or drawing material. With the right angle tilt of the head, the Lumiy 1350 can illuminate your whole room, but it's clear that is not its purpose. If you are like me and prefer a stationary light for your workspace purposes, this lamp is perfect for you.

Energy:

As expected from an LED lamp, the Lumiy 1350 has many energy saving aspects. It comes with a timer feature that turns the lamp off within an hour and the lamp's power consumption is a low 7 watts. But what I find most impressive about this lamp is its LED life. The lamp's LED life is estimated to be over 40,000 hours! Basically if used for 8 hours a day, the Lumiy 1350 should last over 13.5 years.

In summary, based on the Lumiy 1350's design, performance, and promises in energy efficiency, I can say it is worth my purchase. If you are looking for a bright, adjustable, long-lasting lamp to help your workflow, this product is definitely worth it.

Have had my Lumiy Lightbeam 1350 Desk Light for two weeks. I absolutely love this light. The ability to adjust brightness and color temperature is both unique and welcome. I use this lamp on a hutch above my computer and it casts a wonderful light across the entire desk. I prefer the warm, midrange setting, and it provides a glare free unobtrusive work light for me. I purchased it in black, and it is a high gloss, piano black finish that matches my computer components perfectly. I would highly recommend this lamp to anyone looking for a quality constructed, extremely energy efficient and beautifully adaptable desk light. I would give this more than 5 stars if that were possible!

I by no means am an expert when it comes to lighting and bulbs. I have however been slowly replacing bulbs in my house with LED bulbs and have purchased a few different ones. This one is a very good bulb. It puts out lots of light. It is more useful for down style lighting because if the 180 degree. The only downside to this bulb is the buzzing sound it makes. I have 2 of these bulbs and they are not in places where I leave the bulb on for a long period of time. According to the other review on this product the buzzing will stop after a few minutes. I have had the bulb on for approx. 10 minutes and the buzz did not go away. If you are looking for a good bulb this is one. Just keep in mind the buzzing.

This is the only LED bulb that I've found that complies with FCC requirements and doesn't interfere with my garage door remotes. I had a Gen1 bulb for about 3-4 years, hope for more from this Gen3.

Not a fan of the warm color, but that's just personal taste. Its noticeably more red/pink toned.

These are easily the best LED bulbs on the market. The light quality is warm and legitimate. The bulbs are SLIGHTLY larger than a normal incandescent, but I've never run into a situation where they don't fit.

This bulb is very good and cheaper than the geo 2 offered by Amazon LLC. The bulb seems to buzz a bit when initially turned on but that goes away after use. Bulb burns about 40% less power than compact fluorescent.

I bought this replacement seat for a Kohler K 3397EB lowboy toilet. The original seat for this toilet is very high quality but the white plastic was beginning to yellow somewhat and the smooth surface of the seat was becoming somewhat rough. I thought it would be an easy matter to replace the seat and was advised by the Kohler representative to purchase this particular replacement seat.

The seat that arrived was of the "quick release" type. The method of screwing the seat to the toilet involves picking either a "long" or a "short" screw position but neither position was precise enough to give a good fit. The seat either hung over the left side or hung over the right side slightly and there was no ability to make fine adjustments.

The quality of the seat itself was also less than the original seat. The heft of the plastic was less and the seat lid was significantly lighter so that when one would sit on the lid, perhaps to put on one's socks or shoes, the lid would creak and bend and not feel supported. Also the side rails of the seat were significantly more narrow than the original seat thus putting more pressure on one's legs and buttocks and was quite uncomfortable because of this.

I was quite disappointed in this product and have returned it. I suspect I will never be able to replace the original seat since this is an old and now discontinued toilet but certainly has the elongated bowl that matches dimensions of current bowls. In my situation the quality was just not there compared to the original item.

We finally needed to replace our 25 yr old toilet seat and were worried that we wouldn't be able to match the pale yellow color. So, we were pleasantly surprised that the 'sunlight' color from Kohler matched! The toilet seat fits perfectly and doesn't slam. My only concern is that it FEELS insubstantial; it'll probably hold up just fine, but i feel as though if i weighed a hundred pounds more, the plastic might crack.

This toilet seat is a replacement for the original. The original is 13 yrs old, not bad. On the new one they changed the way it attaches to the bowl. Plastic screws go into plastic nuts and then a plastic cap is snapped over the top to hold the seat on and in place. The plastic snap on covers that are suppose to hold everything in place do not stay snapped on. Therefore the toilet seat moves and does not stay in place. $88.00 is alot of money for a piece of crap for a craper. Totally dissified

Single Pendant Light with a Round Colored Glass Shade Review

I ordered three of these pendants to hang in a row in a new kitchen. They arrived on time and in good condition although it was strange that two came as one order, and the third came as a separate order from a different location even though they were ordered as a quantity of 3 at the same time showing plenty in stock. However, while preparing to install we noted that one of the three lamps was visually different than that other two. It had small round balls on the ceiling screw attachment and the other two had small metal cylinders. But MOST importantly is that the two that arrived together with the cylindrical mounting screws have a HORRIBLE bright green wire running through the clear electrical cord! This not only looks ridiculous and stands out like a sore thumb hanging against the wall, but is visually different than the third lamp which does not have this green cord. Obviously these lamps are made by two different companies. So the dilemma is do you send just the two horrible green wire products back and reorder and hope to not get a repeat of the green wire situation or send all three back and choose something different. I would not recommend anyone order these products until the manufacturer assures this has been sorted out. Sad, as it was a nice clean lamp for the price.

Update: After weeks of back and forth, Amazon customer service has gone the extra mile in trying to solve this mismatch issue. However it took SIX lamps to get three that are even "close" (still not perfect) to the same appearance. The quality of this product is so poor that half of them were unusable with holes in the glass being so mismatched that the shades would not even fit, defects in glass, different sizes in diameter, different metal attachment screws, I could go on and on. Thank you Amazon as always for doing your best to satisfy, but bottom-line consumers stay clear of this very poorly made product!

Bought this for my dining room, and I'm very happy with the warm and cozy glow of the lamp. It reminds me of the light you see in magazines depicting a log home with the amber illumination in the the windows. It comes with quite a long cord so even if you have higher than normal ceilings you should be okay. I did not think of taking the measurement so I can't report it accurately, but if that is a concern just check with the seller, and they will be able to tell you.

The lamp looks great, but the build quality is not so great. 1) The power switch is on the cord, and; 2) The stem is not tightly connected to the base(at least on mine).

1) The switch is 12" behind the lamp on the cord. In any situation I can imagine, this will leave the power switch behind the desk or end table and be hard to access. It's either that or leave 12 inches of cord on the table so you can find the switch.

It would have been easy to design and manufacture this lamp with a dark brown toggle switch on the base. It could be hidden on the side or placed right on top.

2) My lamp's post is loose on the base and easily swings left and right. I will have to remove the felt glued to the bottom of the base to see if it can be tightened, or live with it lose.

Not sure yet if I will return it or take it apart and try and fix the base and maybe even install a proper toggle switch on the base.

Otherwise, I like the amount and quality of light through the shade and like how the lamp looks on the whole.

I really like the quality of this lamp. It's very heavy and substantial, and has a subtle elegance I don't often see in this price range. What a good deal!

I ordered only one at first because I wasn't sure if it would look good in my bedroom. It looks terrific, so I'm going to order another one for the other side of the bed.

I will keep my fingers crossed that it makes it here intact. Unfortunately, the first shipment arrived with the shade in shards, but the replacement made it through the shipping process in one piece. And even with super saver shipping, it arrived the next week.

I purchased this lamp intended as a gift for newlyweds. It arrive well-packaged in outwardly good condition, but when removed from the box, there was an obvious large, gaping crack at the "t" where the horizontal piece holding the shade crosses the narrow, upright "stem" portion. It appeared that a repair had been attempted. The crack opening allowed me to see past the dark exterior finish and deep into the composition material. As it turns out, the lamp is not metal (as listed in the description). It is a type of a polymer materiallooking for all intents and puposes, as a standard white plastic. There is no type of supporting rod nor any metal reinforcement under the plastic. The upright piece holding all of the weight is composed completely of the polymer material, which explains why the lamp cracked at a most vulnerable spot where the arc holding the shade piece was attached. Other than this disappointment, the lamp is outwardly attractive, a generous size, and a very fair price for a Craftsman-style piece. If sturdiness is not a requirement for you, it is an acceptable puchase. Because of the upright design, a break would not be amenable to a lasting repair without some type of an interior reinforcement being added. Since it will be a gift, I prefer to look for something more long-lasting.

The Ore International 8304 table lamp looks nice and is well made overall. The shade, however, was slightly marred on one edge with a black smear. Furthermore, the top is ever so slightly uneven on the top. Thought about returning it to Amazon but decided to keep it not thinking the defects were severe enough. Not everything is life is perfect and sometimes it's the slight imperfections that make something special. In sum, we like the lamp and would recommend to our friends.

I purchased this lamp and the matching floor lamp. They were easy to assemble and are a nice heavy weight. The lamps are quite beautiful as are the shades. There really is not much more to say. They are lamps and do what they are supposed to do. I purchased 7 of these lights. Shipping was quick and the packaging was great. The lights require some assembly and snaking the power wire through the hanging tube was problematic. The two power wires were encased in a flexible woven sleeve and was a very tight fit for the metal extension tubes. Eventually I got the wires through.

PROBLEM: ONE kit was missing a medium extension tube that was needed and there was no information as to whom to contact for replacement parts.

The light output of the 100W Xenon light was very good.

Overall the value of my purchase was very good.
