These fixtures ended up being a lot bigger than what I imagined however they look stunning in my bathroom. My contractor ended up hanging them upside down because I didn't have enough ceiling height in my bathroom to hang them rightside up and still be able to reach in and change bulbs when needed. I used two of these fixtures with 100w equivalent CFLs for the entirety of my bathroom lighting. I have a very modern grey and white bathroom and desperately wanted fixtures that did not have a "tulip" or other bell-shaped globe. these fit my needs exactly!

This light looks good but the quality is terrible. I bought 2 of them, and each one had one defective fixture causing the light bulb to light only sporadically. I don't recommend it.

I've had this fixture now installed in my bathroom for a couple of months and really brings a sense of style, sleekness and elegance to the room. We actually bought 2. We installed energy efficient bulbs which fit perfectly and gives it a nice ouch of the right lighting we were going for. It took a few tries but we finally found the right fixture with this company.

This product came in as described. The finish seemed OK although the brush nickel finish seemed more like stainless brush and kinda looked lighter. But the design looked great specially when installed and very bright illumination.

These were easy to assemble, but not stunning. The shade is slightly crooked and took some work to straighten out. The pull cord is slightly tacky.

The lamp post and shade are very crooked and can't seem to straighten it out. I've concluded that it is a defective product and this will be my first Amazon return.

Also, the double shade, which I don't remember seeing in the product description, does not light up the room enough, even with the maximum allowed bulb wattage of 100W.

The quality of construction and how the pieces fit together is quite cheap and certainly isn't worth the price.

However, I do like the lamp shade (minus the inner shade) and it was easy to assemble.

I purchased this lamp for my office at work. I needed something slender and soft that would fit in a tight space. It works perfectly the construction is solid (wood base and pole), and the lamp had a double-shade on it which softens the light. When assembled, it's a beautiful piece. It also fits nicely with my retro-1960s theme, but would fit well in a more contemporary setting as well. Overall a beautiful piece, I am very happy with my purchase.

This lamp was not all that easy to assemble. We struggled with it (and the directions) quite a bit. The shade is nice and emits a soft light, though just barely enough to permit reading. I really like the walnut, but the lamp cants to one side somewhat. I can set it straight, but it is easily disturbed and usually at a tilt. I do enjoy it as a soft bedside light. I wish I had purchased one with a three-level bulb capacity. But it is quite pretty!

The lamp itself was fine, packaging was in a state of disrepair, and I could not find the harp, which connects the lamp shade to the lamp. THe seller was quick to resolve when I contacted them.

This is a very pretty lamp and well made. I don't give it 5 stars because I think the shade is too dark. The lamp is actually made of wood at the base. This was surprising because it was not stated anywhere on the description. I bought these for my mom to spruce up her home and she absolutely loves them. They were simple to put together because my 70 year old mom did it. Believe me, that should really explain how easy it was. Because thy are made of wood, they are very durable so they can withstand the tirades of a toddler.

Bought this for our theatre room to match the wine colored motif. Bought an additional lamp after receiving the 1st promptly, well packed and as described. It is a 3-way lamp and you have to screw the light fixture onto the base. The shade is a burgundy wine color and the lamp has silver-like accents.

The lamp is absolutely beautiful. I have written to see if they make it in a floor lamp. It is worth every dime. My bedroom is silver and burgundy, the lamp ties everything together. I have Burgundy Sheer curtains and Silver silk panels over them to appear as a door to the window. The room is lovely, very warm and elegant.

I was disappointed with these lamps. They should have been larger. The shade is dark red which looks great, but allows very little light to escape. I thought they were over priced for the quality!

I purchased an old house with 10.5 high ceilings with beams in both the living room and the dining room. I wanted nice light fixtures that would go with the beauty of the house. I have 2 ceiling fans and a pendant light in the living room. A second pendant light was placed in the guest closet..that has been opened up into the living room. This is a nice quality fixture which looks very elegant on my brick path. Unfortunately, it is a bit pricey, or I would buy much larger quantities for all the pathways on my property. I purchased one of these for my parents three years and have to say that it is a very striking piece. The lamp is made well and the workmanship is excellent. It is still working well as you'd imagine a lamp should. Just based on the look and design and what I've seen other lamps go for I would expect this to sell for quite a bit more, it really is a bargain at the price.

The bottom line is a high quality lamp at a great price, highly recommended.

I am so pleased with this product. It was imperative that I find one as the oldest son had one in his office, the younger son did not. So, for his birthday, I set out to find one just like his brother's. And VOILA!!!! Amazon had it for me. I ordered 3 of these lights from warehouse deals and when they arrived I got 3 different lights one was Multicolored like pictured and just what I expected, the other two were both different one was almost all red the other was red with a couple of black or dark blue stripes in it. Contacted Amazon and they did make a good offer to correct the problem offering 50% credit but not what I really wanted. I suggested that they let me keep the one light and sent the other two back and I would order two more from the regular Amazon store not Warehouse Deals. They never replied to that offer. I suggest Customer Service try asking the customer... What would make you happy? I wound up taking their offer but now I have 5 lights and I only really need 3, I only hope the two I have on order come and are like the ones pictured on the website. I think the two I got that were wrong were returns to Amazon because they didn't look like the ones on the website that's how they wound up in Warehouse deals. I like the idea of warehouse deals if it is only an open box in good condition, but I think they should make sure it is the correct item. I will update if the two coming from Amazon are correct items.

We installed two of these lights in a hallway at my Mother's home, which had always been too dark with only a small builder grade fixture. The lights brighten the hallway so well and they are beautiful on or off. The light is bigger than it looks on the picture. It has a nice golden glow even with a white light bulb (therefore it attracts fewer bugs). I use it with a yellow light bulb, and it is still bright. It came with a generous amount of chain; I had some left over. It was as sturdy as anything else in this price range.
