But doesnt light up immediately.
It has a about a 5 second delay in lighting up.
Installation was a little different than usual.
But works.
Not really flushmounted.
It hangs down a little, so the light beams up towards the ceiling.
Kind of a nice feature, but not what I thought it would be like.

I purchased this lighting fixture from a local store for $20 more than the Amazon price.Installed it in my foyer and liked it so much I bought one from Amazon to put in the adjacent hall. Wish I had saved some money by shopping Amazon for the first one. But you live and learn. Took me a long time to do the first one because the instructions were less than clear. So I went trial and error and had to do a number of things twice. Not fun. This second one went up in fifteen minutes. Really handsome lights and the glass is a soft mottled tea stain glow. Will take 3X60 watt bulbs but I found those too bright and like 40 watt better. Hung with with a short chain and flush mounted the second one to take full advantage of the dual mounting options. Glad I made this choice.

Best CMVision IR100 - 98 LED Indoor/Outdoor Long Range 200-300ft IR Deals
I purchase this item to illuminate my 300 ft driveway at night. To start, the left side of the hinges was broken when it arrived. This was fixed after a little do-it-yourself repair. After installation on a 30 ft eaves, it supposed to be able to reach up to 300 ft, but after about 150 ft I can hardly see the illumination and the visible area of the illumination is only around 8 ft diameter. Finally, I just left it to point at around 150 ft, at least I can still see something.

This unit works Great. Once you aim it, you can forget it. The infrared light is invisible to the eye but my camera now sees great in the dark. Since it turns on automatically it requires no supervision. I now get clear images of intruders who mistakenly think its too dark to be seen. I'll be ordering more of these illuminator units for my other cameras that need help seeing in the dark. I have this IR illuminator to support my Sony IR surveillance cameras at night. I bought two of them; one is for front yard, the other is for my backyard. The IR illuminator works excellent but with a very narrow light beam instead of a wide spread flood light. It works superb if you need night vision for your security cameras at a distance. Despite the visible red dots to the human eyes because this product emits IR wave length 850nm, overall it is an excellent product for such a reasonable price. I installed those boxes about 20 feet above the ground and they work great; the spot light lights up where I need it. Looking through the monitor that hooked up to the IR camera, my yards are all lit up, but when you physically take a peek at the yards, it is all dark. The only drawback is that the twin power transistors inside these IR illuminators are too hot to touch when the units are operating. Product performed as promised. At first I thought product was defective but it has a daytime sensor to keep it off during daylight. Works exceptionally well if you want night vision for your security cameras. Have not tried the 12V adapter, though you would have to cut the 120v feed to attach and use 12V DC

The ability to adjust the height and angle of the shade are important with this lamp because the CFL bulb (not included) is as long as the shade. It is uncomfortable to use, like having a flashlight shined in your eyes. I like the looks and design so I kept it, will look for a longer shade.I wanted a lamp that would compliment a floor lamp that I already had. this one works. The shade was whiter than I would prefer, but will work for now. Assembly was easy.

Cheap Ringlit® 5W 6000mAh KL6LM LED Miner Headlight Lamp Camping
Bought one of these for underground mapping and sampling. The battery pack and cable are good quality and probably won't break easily. The lamp is a little flimsy. It does the job but be prepared to get your 5 minute epoxy out at some point. The run time is as described, as is the charging time. The only real issue with the lamp is the beam. The light is thrown out in about a 40 degree arc with a very bright and narrow centre spot. The center spot is so bright that the contrast between it and the surrounding beam prevents you from seeing close objects clearly. Switching the light to low beam results in the same problem with less overall illumination.
If you want a spotlight for distance work, this is it. If you need more even illumination of your work area, go for something with a less intense centre beam. Hossen sells a number of Mining Lamps. It would be great if they could include some comparison photos of their lamp beams on a wall, or similar.

ok... i'm really picky... the lamp is perfect as a great light source with killer understated style. the only... and i mean only... thing that took some work was getting the glass bowl turned to the best position. this lamp is great quality. the finish is flawless. i would recommend this lamp to anyone looking for brilliant, unique understated style in a floor lamp. i hope i can see more from this design team or person.
