A very nice product. A few of the parts broke in shipping, but the seller immediately replaced them and shipped them the same day I notified them. This lamp is set for dimming bulbs, so be sure to buy those, otherwise it is very BRIGHT.

The electric cord was cut in a half, and I waited for a replacement. I got a replacement cord, started to assemble the lamp, and found out that a socket ring is broken, it fell out of the packet in little pieces. I looked for a new one myself, and after visiting 5 stores, I bought one, though the color is different. Now back to the assembling... 9 plastic tubes are broken so the dangles underneath cannot even be attached. One of the tubes is very dirty and yellow. After a lot of cleaning it got a bit better, but not much. The worst quality control or the worst packing, or both.

At 7 feet tall, this lamp brings drama to your living space. It is bright when set to full power and can be dimmed for nice mood lighting. It wasn't difficult to assemble (a little awkward, but not hard). The bulbs get hot very quickly so I'm planning to replace the ones that were included with some energy saver bulbs -which are about $20 each :-(

The dangles are acrylic and don't send off prisms like real crystals would, but for this price, I knew what to expect. I'm happy with my purchase. (Ask me again in a month when the thing has collected dust, and I may not be so enthusiastic.)

This lamp is not what you may think it is from the photos and description. It is quite small which was hard to ascertain because there was only a weight given (they are quite heavy) and no dimensions. This is quite a tiny lamp, about 14" tall and the brim of the shade about 7" across. Also, the photo shows what the lamp colour is like when it is turned ON. When off the shade is very, very pink with a very purple edge. Not the more white and blue tones shown. I have kept the lamps as they are nice and luckily still suit the room I bought them for. They most definitely were NOT what I thought I was going to get though!

A little hard to put up, but it is functional, unobtrusive. I wouldn't recommend it for fancy interior decorators, but I don't live in a mansion.

I really liked the base of the lamp, but the shades were not up to par. The quality was shoddy. It had some small scratches that I had to fill in with black magic marker and around the top of the shade it had a black sticky band on the inside that was not installed properly it was not cut right to fit so it would not lay flat it was sloppy. I did not send it back because I needed them right away for my grandson I bought two and only one was like that. Otherwise they were real nice and so different and my grandson loved them. Please check that part of the lamp in the future because for the price that should not have happened.

Best Deals for Nova Live Center System

I feel lucky to have found this (on Amazon). I have bought several 2MT live tail centers, and was about to buy 2 more. This looked like it would replace those purchases, and it does that and more. Triple ball bearings will outlast all of my others anyway. The quality is fine, and all metal. The individual center adapters are also 2MT and can be used straight in the tail stock. I think before buying an aftermarket live center this system deserves strong consideration.

I love this lamp. I ordered two as bedside table lamps but they could go anywhere in the house. The colour is a beautiful dark bronze and they look way more expensive than they are. The base is solid and looks like granite. Absolutely stunning. The bulb size is a petite candelabra (3"). The opening of the globe is quite narrow so oval NOT round lightbulb.

I like this lamp except for a couple things. This biggest problem with it is the base. It is made of wood and looks nice except the maker painted on some lines to try to make it resemble marble. It doesn't. It is clearly painted and it takes away from the lamp. It is a quality lamp and this makes it look cheap.

The only other problem is more minor. The metal clips that keep the globe attached are on the inside of the globe. They are so long that, with the light on, you can clearly see them.

Overall, it is a quality lamp. I am just very disappointed that the base is painted like it is.
