I love this lamp. I ordered two as bedside table lamps but they could go anywhere in the house. The colour is a beautiful dark bronze and they look way more expensive than they are. The base is solid and looks like granite. Absolutely stunning. The bulb size is a petite candelabra (3"). The opening of the globe is quite narrow so oval NOT round lightbulb.

I like this lamp except for a couple things. This biggest problem with it is the base. It is made of wood and looks nice except the maker painted on some lines to try to make it resemble marble. It doesn't. It is clearly painted and it takes away from the lamp. It is a quality lamp and this makes it look cheap.

The only other problem is more minor. The metal clips that keep the globe attached are on the inside of the globe. They are so long that, with the light on, you can clearly see them.

Overall, it is a quality lamp. I am just very disappointed that the base is painted like it is.
