Ridiculously cute for our application on a pink playhouse, but this fixture is plenty beefy and gorgeous enough to go into a more typical installation. This is a sturdy, heavy, and well made fixture with a uber cool ethnic vibe. It was packaged very securely, installed easily and is overall, a high quality item more than worth it's price. I got this lamp for my birthday, I am a cat lover and thought this tiffany lamp would be really cute in my home. My BF ordered it and it ended up arriving early. It was wrapped and packaged very nicely, nothing was broken (which was one thing I was worried about since it is art glass). It came with 2 lights, one for inside the head and one for the body. It is a bobble head, which makes it pretty cute. I plugged it in and the color was nice, gave off a soft yellow/orange glow and the eyes are green, also it has a pink nose. Overall I really do like the product, but I feel like this glass is a somewhat cheap material compared to other tiffany lamps. My mom has 3 Tiffanys and I feel like the glass on those is brighter and clearer compared to my cat lamp, that's my only complaint. If you like cats I would suggest getting it, if you are more of a Tiffany lamp lover, I would say think about it because it does have a different style compared to their other work.

The lamp looks good. Works great. Sturdy. Good price. I recommend a 40 watt bulb. Easy to put together. The lamp was packaged by the son of Satan. Do not open it inside your house. The middle of the Sahara Desert would be a good choice. It was packed with a solid styrofoam material that falls apart into tiny pieces when you touch it. The stuff sticks to everyting in sight. I spent over an hour with a vacuum cleaner getting the stuff off of me, the lamp and everything within a 10 foot radius. My garbage collector now looks at me with disgust and loathing.

I received the two Tiffany-style pole lamps today, which I ordered. They are described as having a "glass" shade, made of 200+ pieces of "stained glass," and so on. However, this is absolutely not glass. There is no glass whatsoever in this item. The shade is made of 100% plastic. I worked with stained glass for many years, cutting stained glass, fitting the pieces in lead came, and soldering the assembly. I am amazed that the description is not accurate and honest: This is made of a plastic, or plastic-like material and it is not worth the price that is quoted. The description is deceptive and passes off a cheap plastic item as one that is made of real glass. If this were glass, it would be far heavier than it is. If this were actually glass, I would give it 5 stars.

As stated in other reviews, the shade is NOT made from cut glass, but plastic. It isn't surprising considering the cost of a little over one hundred dollars, but it is disappointing. Additionally there are other quality issues; the whole lamp leans a bit and the wings on the dragonflies aren't all straight. I am keeping it because it does serve the purpose of lighting up the back of the living room while being colorful and because my carpeting bulge next to the wall counteracts the leaning. As long as you don't look at it too closely it's acceptable.

I can not put into words how nice this lamp is. The details on the base are almost as amazing as the glass. The way it glows is so pretty. This lamp could add charm to any room, it is heavy and well made. People assume I spent much more on it than I did.

However 2 of the three had broken bulbs that were included in the price.

Would not be a problem in most fixtures except these cost $6.00 to $8.00

Overall, I really liked these lights. I bought 6 of these types of fixtures in varying lengths for mounting in my kitchen. Overall, I'm happy with them, and would get them again. They weren't difficult to install if you have basic wiring experience.

Pros:

* Ability to daisy chain lights together makes installation a bit easier

* Low depth meant that I didn't need to install a valance on the cabinets

* Bronze color is a lot classier than white

* They can be dimmed

* Splashproof

Cons

* They get hot. If you have anything in your cabinet that is sensitive to heat, you probably want to move it

* While the lights CAN be dimmed, they have a nice buzz going to them when they aren't a full power

* Cost they aren't cheap

I bought several sizes, so I will be leaving feedback on each.

The lighting is great, install was easy, the only reason I did not give this product 5 stars was the price.

Although Amazon did have the best price, I had to get over the sticker shock of the total costs of all lights ($500 for 5 lights).

Something to consider, most above stove microwaves have the same type of lighting, so when you have all your lights on, it seems to blend in better.

I priced out LED lights vs. Zenon LED's were more expensive and the general conseption is because of the energy savings, I don't have these lights on enough to think that energy savings are part of the final buying decision. If anything, I'm probably saving money since the costs that separate these two products are considerable & would take such a long time to recoupe the bottom line on my electric bill.

We added these lights to our kitchen and it made a huge difference. I had them wired by an electrician, but could have easily done it myself. I had a hard time finding out what was needed to install these, so I ended up getting the JC3 jumper cord and some other stuff that I didn't need. I was able to return to Amazon very easily however. All of the modules can be direct wired using Romex or BX wiring, even the 9 inch, despite what the Juno website says. Also each module has a connection on each side for a "jumper cord" which can power the unit next to it. It comes with a very small jumper so you can jam two modules together with no space in between. This would be if you had really long cabinets.

Anyway, quality is top-notch and I am sure these will last a very long time.

Amazon had a great deal on these undercabinet lights, and I needed them for my new summer cottage.

I bought (1)UPX109(9"), (2)UPX214(14"), and (1)UPX322(22"), all in black, for a total of $206, with free shipping.

I have yet to install them, as I live in Florida, but my summer cottage is in Nova Scotia.

These are fixtures that must be hard wired to 120V power. Many undercabinet lights on the market are the low voltage type, but I had set my kitchen wiring up to be all 120V.

These are high quality fixtures, but they are quite pricy (unless you can find a good deal, as I did).

I am very pleased!

I highly recommend them!

I've installed my fair share of light fixtures, and this one was probably the most problematic to install for several reasons:

1) The base of it is barely large enough to cover a standard 4x4" junction box. The hole in my sheetrock was slightly larger than that, and off-center. So I had to gerry rig two mounting brackets together to give me the flexibility to shift the lamp base down far enough to cover the hole.

2) There is foil-backed fiberglass insulation behind the lamp to prevent the heat of the halogen lamp from melting the insulation on the wires. However, the fiberglass kept shifting when I tried to install it, obscuring the hole through which the threaded nipple must be inserted. It takes two hands to hold the lamp, and a third hand to push the fiberglass out of the way.

Once installed, however, the lamp is very attractive, and the light is extremely bright. In fact, I plan to install a dimmer to tone it down a little. Another reviewer mentioned fitting the fixture with a higher wattage halogen, because he thought the included bulb was too dim. Installing a higher wattage bulb is not recommended and could result in the lamp overheating. I can't imagine needing more light than this lamp puts out.

The lamp also came with a spare bulb. I didn't check to see if it was the same wattage as the installed bulb. There also are two different diffusers. One is clear glass, and the other is frosted. I used the frosted diffuser, although I didn't see any appreciable difference in lighting. The globe itself is frosted,which serves to diffuse light directed downward. Light directed upward, however, is not diffused by the globe, which is open on top.

We had these model in one area and they looked good. We needed more as our remodel moved into adjacent areas. Had trouble finding this model through conventional lighting sources. Amazon had several. They came in perfect condition which was better than the condition offered. Very easy to install and have a modern look. They cast a good light, too.

These are pretty lamps but smaller then I expected although the dimensions are given in the description. I wasn't expecting the lamp shades to be collapseable but they were fairly easy to assemble and pretty. I wanted lamps with a little color that would go with any color decor and these fit that perfectly. I like the 3 way switch also.
