Cheap Canarm IT217A03ORB10 Addison 3-Light Dropped Track Lighting

Perfect light for our home, am ordering a second one for upstairs library shelving. Creating coffee bar (former 70's wet bar in this house)and replaced 70's style globe and brass light with this lovely "track." Simple and classy, oil rubbed bronze appropriately dark. Not too ornate, globes plain white quality glass, each moves to cast light where needed without the industrial or 70's track light look. Easy to install, oval plate at ceiling covered former fixture circle. Okay directions, bulbs don't come with it but will take 3 commonly available 50-watt halogen bulbs available on the shelf at your HomeDepot/Walmart/Lowe's type places. They were 3 for $8. Makes our espresso machine glimmer, spots a nice painting four yards away, and another spot lights counter space. This light would work in every area from elegant traditional to transitional or eclectic styles. I chose the 3-bulb one because carpenter thought the two-bulb looked like antlers, which was a plus in his opinion but not mine. Arrived on time, packaged well, good quality for price.

Definitely a perfect transitional style. It drew yawns just out of the package, but once installed, wow. Perfect lighting for a smaller kitchen! Very easy to install; smaller arm swivels for additional task lighting. I'm totally delighted with this purchase. 5 Stars.

It is a nice light, but it was not enough light for our kitchen. It would be better where it doesn't need to be the main light for a space, or if you wanted a darker feel with a special corner lit up or something.

We found a good deal on this chandelier and love the simple, classic details. We use 3 60 watt bulbs in ours and it provides great lighting over our kitchen table. I believe you can use bulbs with even higher wattage per the instructions, but don't have them readily accessible to confirm that.

Fan and light combination work great, fan is pretty quiet. After two years of use I started noticing that the finish was rusting. The Representative from Broan said I could replace the outer fixture for $94. Broan rep said that the reason for the rust was because I was not leaving the fan on long enough after showering. Funny thing though I boutght cheap towel bars that match the chrome finish on the fan/vent and they have not started rusting...

This thing is a terrible exhaust fan. It was rusted within 6 months. It's now covered in rust after a year. I bought it from Home Depot and it had some poor reviews on their site, but I figured with my tiny bathroom, it should do the job. I was very wrong! I actually came across this because I'm on here shopping for a new one! Skip the style and invest in performance.

This is an attractive ceiling fan to use in a bathroom. It's not too loud and the light is bright enough to enable one to see in the bathroom. I like the modern design. The guys who helped put it in (as we had to have a hole cut in the bathroom ceiling and wiring put in) had only seen the more clunkier plastic housing fan/lights. They were surprised to see a fan/light that did the same thing, but also looked really attractive. Obviously, this isn't sold at all the big box hardware stores. It also arrived very quickly.

I read reviews about sound and some said that you didn't want the bathroom fan to be so quiet you can't remember to turn it off. This fan is loud enough that you'll remember to turn it off, but not incredibly loud and actually sometimes does fade into the background. Highly recommended.

As I've said in my previous reviews, I don't have a lot of previous experience in home renovations. Before purchasing this item I did a lot of research in installing new and replacing existing ceiling fan exhaust systems. I also spent a few hours in the attic mapping and planning the exhaust and the placement of the unit. My house had no existing unit, so this was a completely new installation. After figuring I would just connect it directly to the current kitchen installation exhausting (with a damper to prevent backwash), I drilled a pilot hole into the bathroom ceiling and checked the attic. The hole was off my 6 inches from the nearest mounting stud. This was perfect since it meant the light would be almost directly center in the room between the wall and the shower. After mapping, the cutting, and mounting took about 3-4 hours. Running the exhaust was another 2-3 hours. I paid a licensed electrician to run the wires and hook the unit up with this switch Intermatic EI210W Electronic Auto-Off Timer 10/20/30/60 Minutes, White.

The unit is quiet, and it is barely noticeable above the running water. It is, however, loud enough to cover or at least mask bodily excretion sounds. The instructions were very good and detailed. The only tools I used were this Milwaukee 48-22-0304 Drywall-Plaster Rasping Jab Saw, 6-Inches, and miscellaneous screwdrivers and a drill.

The unit does require candelabra lights and the frosted glass sits in the outer mesh holder. This makes it a little harder to remove and change the lights (three hands are needed, or slow patience). Other than that, I am very satisfied with this unit.

The fixture is nicely finished, and looks great and seems sturdy so far.

Advantage: The light and fan both plug into separate regular plugs inside the fixture which is great because you can feed them from separate circuits (my light is on dimmer, fan is on a different circuit with a regular switch).

Disadvantages: The fan is a little loud, and the light uses small-base candelabra bulbs.

Overall I'm pleased with this fixture.

I purchased these under cabinet light fixtures in several sizes; 2, 3 & 4 light configurations. They look great and when they work, put out good lighting. However, they have gone through almost a complete set of light bulbs at almost $5 each. They are connect by hard wiring with a switch and dimmer. They burn out bulbs both at random and by complete fixture. Very hard to change bulbs and being careful not to touch the bulb with bare fingers.

In the spring of 2006 I renovated my kitchen. I chose Kichler 10581 series for my under cabinet/over counter top lights. I have eight of them, five large (roughly 30 inches), three small (roughly 12 inches). In the last two years I have had to replace four lights, three large, one small. My most recent replacement failed after less than 6 months use. Not one light bulb was bad. My contractor, who recommended Kichler and advised me to contact Kichler. He told me the problem has to be the transformers.

I am really unhappy. I emailed Kicher to ask for an explanation for this abysmal performance. No one responded

I love this ceiling light!. We ordered it for our nursery and it looks great. We get so many compliments on it. It would look great anywhere. One customer complained about the shiny plate on the bottomthat was not an issue at all. Just use the reverse side. One side is glossy and the other matte. You can't beat the price.

Though this shade on the light isn't like the image shown, its still a great light... I installed this immediately and noted the almost beige color of the lamp shade...which wasn't a shock since I read other reviews and knew what to expect. When this light is turned on, the shade becomes almost mustard yellow but you do get to see all the great twill patterns in the material which gives it lots of visual interest.

The light is wonderfully bright especially the area right under the drum shade. It takes a second to get to this super bright point-something about the kind of bulb.

Installation wasn't too tough-just awkward. The silly little threaded ball caps that hold the base to the ceiling are a pain to get started, I dropped them once and had to go chase them down...ugh... also, you have to mount the drum shade before another part who's installation requires you to reach in the area between the shade and the main fixture mounting area to screw on a star washer and nut from the top. Hopefully you have skinny hands and arms if you plan on installing this-it helps.

Overall, despite the very different shade color, I do like this lamp, its upscale and modern without being too modern/unusual that its going to get dated anytime soon.

Shipping was incredibly fast-3 days-but it came usps and the box was really beat upthankfully the two punctures and the terribly smashed corner did not damage the shade too obviously. I would advise better shipping methods or additional packaging.

We bought this light fixture for our foyer. My husband wasn't sure about this styling and really wanted a flush mount fixture. I ordered this anyway and it has really updated our living space! It looks much more up to date and modern while still fitting in with other traditional aspects of our home. My husband installed this quickly without much problem. I was hesitant to order because of others stating that it was sort of green, but I don't think that's true. It's more of a true linen/cream, but still blends in well with the white trim and stair case throughout the house. Terrific pricing for this fixture as well, similar ones at other sites were much more expensive.
