At first I had looked at home depot for these bars. Everything is small. They have mostly three light bars, the biggest being a five light bar. When I noticed this I instantly remembered all the places I have been to, that have had these little light bars. I wanted something that looks good, and not cheesy. Something that fits the room. These are them. I had bought the 10 light bar and the 12 light bar, Installed to make a giant L. They look fantastic. It really fits the room nicely.

I installed this light fixture in my hallway, and it looks great. The style is very versatile could coordinate with modern, mid-century, minimalist, etc. I was surprised to find that the light bulb is not included (T3 R7S 78mm 100 watt halogen bulb). I would purchase this fixture again.

I'm an electrical contractor. When asked, this is the only light I will recommend. If I have to supply undercabinet lights this is the only brand I will use. The light burns 50% cooler than Halogen, is dimmable via an wall switch or you have the switch on the fixture that has a "High low & off" I never get call backs on these and I cant remember one of these ever failing.

And yes, I have these in my kitchen office and laundry room.

The light itself is a perfect glow. The installation is straightforward. The big drawback is attaching the light diffusing lens back in place. The lens is designed to attach to the light by hooking the front end of the lens to the body first and "popping" the lens onto the body. For some reason, the light frame's dimension changes once mounted to the cabinet. This ever so slight change in frame size prevents the lens cap staying in place. It makes the task of putting the lens cap on a nightmare.

To get this to work, I had to place VERY small washers in the back of the light interior. This made the interior dimensions ~1/16" smaller. This difference made the lens stay in place once assembled. Even with the modifications, the lens does not "pop" in place. The front edge HAS to be depressed into the retaining lip last. This is backwards from the directions and is not easy.

All in all, the lights look nice. The price was right and with some modifications they are fully functional. Would I buy this model again? Doubtful.

Product was purchased 3 years and 2 months ago and was installed by licensed electrician. When one stopped working, i determined that the transformer (functions similarly to the ballast in florescent lights) had failed. An internet search revealed that this is not an uncommon problem for these lights. Don't even try to find the transformer at electrical supply centers because i wasted a morning trying to do so. I called Kichler customer service and the service courteously informed me that they do not sell replacement parts for their under-cabinet lights and my only option was to purchase a replacement given that the two year warranty had expired. So after 3 years, my Kichler lights are disposable; very disappointing.

In the spring of 2006 I renovated my kitchen. I chose Kichler 10581 series for my under cabinet/over counter top lights. I have eight of them, five large (roughly 30 inches), three small (roughly 12 inches). In the last two years I have had to replace four lights, three large, one small. My most recent replacement failed after less than 6 months use. Not one light bulb was bad. My contractor, who recommended Kichler and advised me to contact Kichler. He told me the problem has to be the transformers.

I am really unhappy. I emailed Kicher to ask for an explanation for this abysmal performance. No one responded

The light is well made although it requires to be hard wired or convereted as there is no plug.

The lens cover is difficult to remove when replacing bulbs. It needs more strength than some people may have to unsnap it.

This light looks great on the ceiling, but the design is horrible! There are two low quality tiny screws on the side of the light bulb ring, which serves as the bulb cover. This is the most horrible design ever! If you want to change the light bulb, you have to unscrew those tiny screws out, then take of the cover, then you finally can pull out the light bulb. However, those low quality screws are easily destroyed by the screw driver that it is almost impossible to take them off by using your screw driver!!!!! If you can not take out the outside ring over, you can not pull out the bulb, that means, it is not possible for you to chang light bulbs!!! After 3 months, one bulb burned. I have to destroy one screw to take out the bulb cover, and now I have problem put the brocken screw to secure the cover back after replacing the new light bulb. I have to go to Homedepot to find the same but stronger tiny screw to replace the crappy original ones. I am thinking about replacing this light set since I will never know the other bulb may brun and causes me the same trouble again!!!

This was received as advertised quickly. While it was not available at Lowes a 3 light was and for only $20. in stock. I think it was a little over priced. It was the one I wanted so paid the extra. Needed an undercounter lighting system but do to construction would have been a lot of extra work. It works and looks great using existing wiring. I will do more shopping next time.

This is a very solid, all metal light with a durable PVC stake that were easy to install. If it were just these elements I'd give 5 stars. However, it must have been the "jr. varsity" team that designed the quik disc connect because, though easy to install you have to ensure the cap is reattached in the proper direction in order for the pins to line up. Sounds easy, but when you find yourself behind a bush installing it at night to get the proper placement it is hard to know which is "front" on a round disc. Still, once connected, the lights look great and should last some 13 years without any maintenance. Spend a little now to avoid dealing with bulb changes, fallen over stakes, plastic housings that crack, etc. And, the LED are very bright but use a lot less energy so factor that as well into your cost comparison. TIP: connect these lights with the low voltage power on so you know you have a solid connection and the light works before you move on to the next light!

Overall, I really liked these lights. I bought 6 of these types of fixtures in varying lengths for mounting in my kitchen. Overall, I'm happy with them, and would get them again. They weren't difficult to install if you have basic wiring experience.

Pros:

* Ability to daisy chain lights together makes installation a bit easier

* Low depth meant that I didn't need to install a valance on the cabinets

* Bronze color is a lot classier than white

* They can be dimmed

* Splashproof

Cons

* They get hot. If you have anything in your cabinet that is sensitive to heat, you probably want to move it

* While the lights CAN be dimmed, they have a nice buzz going to them when they aren't a full power

* Cost they aren't cheap

I bought several sizes, so I will be leaving feedback on each.

The lighting is great, install was easy, the only reason I did not give this product 5 stars was the price.

Although Amazon did have the best price, I had to get over the sticker shock of the total costs of all lights ($500 for 5 lights).

Something to consider, most above stove microwaves have the same type of lighting, so when you have all your lights on, it seems to blend in better.

I priced out LED lights vs. Zenon LED's were more expensive and the general conseption is because of the energy savings, I don't have these lights on enough to think that energy savings are part of the final buying decision. If anything, I'm probably saving money since the costs that separate these two products are considerable & would take such a long time to recoupe the bottom line on my electric bill.

We added these lights to our kitchen and it made a huge difference. I had them wired by an electrician, but could have easily done it myself. I had a hard time finding out what was needed to install these, so I ended up getting the JC3 jumper cord and some other stuff that I didn't need. I was able to return to Amazon very easily however. All of the modules can be direct wired using Romex or BX wiring, even the 9 inch, despite what the Juno website says. Also each module has a connection on each side for a "jumper cord" which can power the unit next to it. It comes with a very small jumper so you can jam two modules together with no space in between. This would be if you had really long cabinets.

Anyway, quality is top-notch and I am sure these will last a very long time.

Amazon had a great deal on these undercabinet lights, and I needed them for my new summer cottage.

I bought (1)UPX109(9"), (2)UPX214(14"), and (1)UPX322(22"), all in black, for a total of $206, with free shipping.

I have yet to install them, as I live in Florida, but my summer cottage is in Nova Scotia.

These are fixtures that must be hard wired to 120V power. Many undercabinet lights on the market are the low voltage type, but I had set my kitchen wiring up to be all 120V.

These are high quality fixtures, but they are quite pricy (unless you can find a good deal, as I did).

I am very pleased!

I highly recommend them!

Very slow delivery, shipped 1 week after email shipping notification was received, Lamp arrived, looks good, was a little tricky to set it up, when using 5 light bulbs it's still not light enough in the living room, because upper part of the lamp is covering actual light bulb by at least half, which is blocking some view. Lamp is adjustable to the certain point, but it's easy to break it if you adjust it too much. Short return policy.

I purchased this three-bulb fixture and three of the same fixture with two bulbs for three bathrooms I am renovating. They are stunning!! They blend beautifully with the Victorian style Delta faucets we installed. I especially appreciate that the lights face upward (but also look good facing downward), as I hate looking up into light bulbs. The glass globes are a true white, especially if you install "cool" spectrum light bulbs. This was important to me, as I wanted the colors I had selected in the cabinetry, granite, and tiles to remain true. Only one word of caution.... The backplate which rests against the wall is not very large and just barely covers the junction box. In my case, I had to do a great deal of drywall repair after removing the old light fixtures, which had a much wider backplate. If you are doing new construction, this will not be a problem. I am ever so pleased with the beauty of these fixtures -they look very rich and expensive. They are not light in weight, but are as substantial as they appear. They came well packaged and arrived undamaged. You will be as pleased as I am with these fixtures.

I purchased these fixtures after returning another set from Home Depot that turned out to be rather cheap and shoddy. This fixture is a classic style with chrome finish, which suits a traditional home very nicely. The glass shades have a subtle bell shape that can be mounted either up or down. I opted for the down position. The fixtures are sturdy and of good quality, and look wonderful in my secondary bath. I would highly recommend this product and am incredibly pleased with my purchase, as it has totally updated my 1980s bathroom.
