Im lighting my kitchen with two tracks led lighting. Im very pleased one, that I could ever make a purchase like this and subsequently have good lighting as a result and two, even though led's represent a higher order of technology they maintain an attractive esthetic while doing so. In an apocalyptic future they would provide a source of light supported only by batteries charged by solar array? A thoughtful amenity, that might be, just in case!

We have an 'open concept' kitchen/dining room/living room and installed this light in the kitchen breakfast nook. On the opposite side of the kitchen above the formal dining table we have a much more ornate oil-rubbed bronze chandelier which I think we paid around $600 for. Despite only costing around $50, this one doesn't look cheaply made at all and the simple clean lines are a nice complement to our other fixture which has lots of curved elements.

The only potential downside of this model is the lack of vertical height adjustment due to the short chain length. I think the height is good for 10-12' ceilings and maybe for 9 feet also if you remove the chain but it would definitely hang a little low if you have 8' ceilings.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program From opening the box to taking down the previous fixture, to project complete, took two people just about 40 minutes. The oil-rubbed finish is nice looking. The linen fabric shades are also nice, although the Amazon product specification currently says the shades are glass. The product image seems to show three chain links on each arm attached to the ceiling plate. Our box only had two links total, but that worked out fine and additional links would have made it too low. We discovered that the fixture box in our ceiling is not centered over our kitchen island, so the chandelier overhangs one edge by almost 3 inches. Sigh.

The ceiling plate advises the product is made in China and has a slightly disturbing sticker inside it that says "Warning: This product contains lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Wash hands after installing, handling, cleaning or otherwise touching this lighting fixtures."

This is a simple, iron and linen shade pendant light. The shades are limited to 60 watt bulbs, and I use chandelier-shaped ones to avoid the bulb showing under the shade (a problem with those sealed fluorescent style bulbs.)

The shades were a bit cockeyed on the down rod and it was not possible to straighten them easily with out putting the unit in a vise and pulling them into alignment.

It's also a bit plain. In retrospect, I might have preferred something more stylish. However, for a simple pendant light with plenty of light for an island counter, it works fine.

The light fixture's bronze finish and linen shades are a good match with the basement's wood floors and wainscoting. We added a dimmer and leave on low when watching television from the nearby sofa for soft, ambient lighting.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program At the current price point, as of the writing of this review, of less than $50 I did not have high expectations for this light. Now that it is fully installed, I have to say that the light really adds a lot to the room; both in terms of light and overall appearance. I would say that this light is comparable to many fixtures I have seen at retailers priced from $150-$200.

With the right tools, installation was a snap. I installed it myself on a ten foot ceiling with nothing other than a Phillips-head screwdriver, box cutter, side cutter pliers, six foot ladder, and the materials included in the box. Of course, I was able to utilize the in-ceiling wiring from an existing light fixture that I was replacing, which made the process substantially easier. I would say that the total installation, including the replacement of the old fixture, probably took about 20 minutes. I would recommend, however, seeking out a second set of hands towards the end of the install, as keeping the wires tucked in, positioning the fixture, and fastening the main support screw gets a little tricky.

The fixture might look a little hokey when you first open the box, but it definitely looks

just as nice as much more expensive models from big brand outlets once it is fully assembled. The faux patina finish does scratch relatively easily though, which I learned the hard way, so one will need to be a little gentle while removing it from the box and throughout installation.

I have a electrical contracting company and have been doing electrical for 32 years and have put up hundreds of ceiling fans for customers. This fan I bought for our front porch. Along with the fan I installed the remote control. The fan itself is made well and is one of better fans I've put up. I can always tell after I've installed the fan and turn it on how well the fan it made just by looking at the wobble. This fan had no wobble, it tracked perfectly and I didn't have to mess with weights to get it back in balance which usually never works. To me this shows the manufacturer has taken the time to make sure every blade and blade holder is perfect. Only time will tell on how reliable it is but so far it's two thumbs up.

I will start off by saying that the look of this lamp is awesome! It matches my entire apartment (I have a small studio so not a lot of room). I have zebra bedding, black couch, zebra bathroom, etc. so this looks amazing next to my bed. Not only did this item "wow" me with the sound, as I was expecting much lower quality since I owned another speaker lamp a few years ago that was not made very well, but it also has many other useful functions. The instructions were a little confusing at first, but I was able to figure it out pretty quickly. It has a wake-up light that turns on when the alarm goes off. The alarm also starts off low and gradually increases until you shut it off. Although that might be useful for some people, I could do without it since it takes me a good 10 minutes to actually get out of bed, BUT even better is that at night when I'm listening to music, I can set the sleep setting to turn off both the music and the light when I tell it to. In addition, there is the USB port in the back so I can charge my phone right next to me while I sleep. Before this I had a lamp plugged in one slot,and an alarm clock in the other so had to plug my phone in across the room. This solved that problem. All in all, I would definitely recommend this lamp.

Lamp seems to be a pretty decent product and we like the looks of it, but te base is extremely light, causing the lamp to be somewhat top-heavy. Have to be careful not to bump the upper section when turning lamp on as it tends to want to fall over.

When I bought this product I thought it was a wall switch with remote extension. But when it arrived, it is actually one piece that may be controlled by Lutron remote switch and also can be controlled by the attached switch (looks just like the wall switch by Lutron -thus the confusion)

You can still pair it with a Lutron wireless remote and that part worked flawlessly.

This lantern was securely packed, comes with mounting brackets and hardware, and clear instructions. It is well designed and a very attractive product. Because I have many large trees, it was not possible to give it 100% sunlight, but it is working to my satisfaction.

I did a lot of searching for a set of solar pillar lights to go at the end of our driveway. We have pillars but were waiting to run power to them until we evaluated the solar options. After reviewing these and reading through the comments, they seemed like they would fit the bill so I bought two of them.

Assembly and installation were a breeze. We have a 3" coupling on top of the pillars and these fit perfectly. From unboxing to mounting took less than 15 minutes. It was that easy.

The material is pretty good and the painted finish isn't bad. It doesn't look great up close but is certainly fine for this type of installation. I added some customer pictures so you can see what they look like.

Per the instructions I let them charge for 2 days before turning them on. I will mention that the on off switch is located inside the light compartment which means you will have to take the top off of it to get to the switch. Kind of a pain but not a show stopper.

After the second day of charging we were very excited to see what they could do. We switched them on and waited. The photocell worked great and at dusk they started to light. Once darkness had completely fallen I went out to have a look. Unfortunately the light output was very disappointing. A dull glow is all they provided on the driveway.

We have some trees around the pillars which limits some of the late afternoon sun but they get direct sunlight from sunrise until probably 2pm in the afternoon. Unfortunately this may not be enough to fully charge them.

We had a partly cloudy day the next day and the results were even worse. The light barely reached the driveway and after only a couple of hours of darkness they had nearly extinguished completely.

Needless to say we will moving to electric in the future. If you are looking for a fairly nice decorative lamp at a low price these will fit the bill. By the way, the price on these is much lower than some of the other options I looked at which made them a good option to try out. However, if you are looking for any decent light or security which is what we were more interested in, these lights just don't stand up.

As I mentioned, the trees in our front yard may limit the direct sunlight somewhat so if you have open skies above them, they may work much better.

These lights are better than I had hoped. They look good, were easy to instal and most importantly provide just the right light for me to read by while my husband sleeps. The lights are dimmable so you can set just the right brightness level, my book is lit just enough for me to read comfortably while my husband's side of the bed is pretty dark. I also like that we can turn the light on and off from either side of the bed, so when my husband has not come to be yet after I finish reading I can turn my light off and set his on to very low so he can see his way to his side of the bed without dusturbing me.

Very good buy, would recommend to any couple who go to bed at different times or one reads while the other sleeps.

Looks good (see picture of it on my wall), OK quality, works well. Seems kind of expensive compared to floor lights and track lights of similar quality, but there aren't many wall mount reading lights to choose from and the two dimmer switches account for some of the cost. I'm not crazy about goose neck lamps, but for the moment they are stiff enough to hold the lamps in position reasonably well. It works well as a bedroom reading light. Dimmed down and pointed away, your partner can still sleep (maybe).

I did run into one problem during installation. It comes with screws and drywall anchors, however the screws are too large for drywall anchors and can't be screwed in. If you try to force them, they will just tear loose from the drywall. I replaced them with anchors I had sitting in the garage. You will need a level, drill, and screwdriver, and a bit of skill to actually get it mounted level.

As far as people's complaints about changing the bulb, mine came with a suction cup gripper that makes changing the bulb pretty easy (you can't grip the bulb with your fingers). Of course you will almost certainly lose the suction cup before the bulb burns out. Oh well, try using a window hook suction cup instead.

I wanted to put LED bulbs in the lamp, but the dimmers are rated for incandescent only. I was going to try them anyway, but the suction cup would not stick to the LED bulbs and I was unable to put them in. We mostly use the lamp dimmed down pretty low, so the LEDs probably wouldn't have been a great choice anyway.

This lamp has proven a good solution to the problem of one spouse wanting to read while the other one sleeps. Bedside lamps were OK, but we like the fact that these lights can be aimed at the book (iTouch, phone, etc). The dimmer feature is also handy when you need a little bit of light--but don't want to turn on a bright light and wake up your partner. Yes--they do get hot. Very hot. So be careful when you touch them.

The only problem we encountered was disappointment upon opening the box. This lamp set is not "bronze"--as described, but black--as pictured on this page. The only other option was nickel, which won't work with our decor. Not a big problem, but enough to dock one star for the mismatch.

First one had a cracked piece in the shade. Problem was it was in the front and at the bottom of the shade. Just bad enough that it had to go back. The packing was ok and there was no damage to the carton. The replacement has no cracks but the shade is no where near as nice looking as the first lamps shade was. I'll keep it but I wish the 1st one was not damaged. Needed Amazon to help me with the return to The Renovators Supply as they were not pleasant to deal with.

I ordered 2 of these shades for some older large lamps I have had in my home. The shade are a very nice quality, but not worth the price and the color on this one is a lighter shade than it appears here. Unfortunately, I had to return since the color bordered on a white and not cream. I ended up buying new lamps for a few dollars more. Price is to high.

I was looking for a flush mount light that was modern yet understated. This worked out and fits nicely in my master bedroom. The linen shade is ivory colored and neutral. It doesn't look cheap at all and the brushed nickel is chic.

Only complaint is that it was a total pain to install. It was very difficult to line up the screws into the ceiling. You could probably save yourself some time by using longer screws and ditch the ones that come with it.

Make sure you bring lots of patience when it comes time to install this light. Oh, and strong arms too!

This GB Packer Lamp is very attractive and well made. Everyone comments as to how cute it is and it's a wonderful accent to my husband's Green Bay Packer room. The on/off switch is on the chord itself, which I have placed right next to the bed, so when a houseguest wants to turn on/off the lamp it is effortless. The on-line picture of the lamp doesn't do it enough justice, as it is really beautiful and looks great lighted. I highly recommend it to any Green Bay Packer fan!
