My lights originally had two position switches so you could operate at 300W or 500W. They were no longer available. These fit in easily and took up much less space. They are strictly on/off. I have to say that the customer service person I spoke to at Designer's Edge was just about the worst I have dealt with.

I am giving the fixture 4 stars because it's quite nice, but the color is more of a dark charcoal gray (almost black), rather than the usual dark brownish color that oil-rubbed bronze has indicated for all other fixtures I've purchased (many) described as oil-rubbed bronze. If that's what you're looking for and you like the look of this fixture otherwise, you won't be disappointed. But if you need a more brown tone, pass on this one.

We needed 2 buffet lamps & these looked perfect. But how do you get a 32" lamp in a 12" box? It comes in 3 pieces & the design is never straight. We kept them because they sit in our foyer & really do look beautiful. Every time I dust they have to be readjusted but we could not find anything else we like. They could never sell these lamps in a store! If you need buffet lamps these are beautiful but get a timer so they turn on automatically. Whenever you touch them they get really crooked!

They are bright, they hold up to the abuse of bowfishing and they aren't overly heavy or costly. Good buy for any bowfishermen.

My husband and I ordered this for our foyer and it is perfect. Not too big and not too small. Not too fancy and not too blah. We have vaulted ceilings and it looks great. I don't like seeing a foyer light that is too big or fancy for the space it is placed. This light is simple and elegant.

I had ordered two of these sconces and a matching 3 light chandelier. The quality and finish of the items (which is a matte black) was perfect to go with the black accents around my fireplace. It has an easy attachment plate and they provide you with an allen wrench to tighten set screws that hold this on the plate. The milky white glass appears to be defect free and distributes light from the bulb in a very even pattern. I liked this design so much that I ordered a close to ceiling matching two light fixture to go in my foyer

The fixture is very well made and finished. It looks great with the globes hanging down or up. I needed the globe facing up configuration, luckily, because there were some minor, but noticeable scrapes in the finish of the mounting plate which would have shown if mounted in the more traditional way. Overall a very nice piece. I would have returned it for replacement and would highly recommend it for value and appearance (five stars) except for the minor ding.

This lighting fixture is beautiful! The two toned nickel is a real eye catcher. I purchased it to complement a brushed nickel faucet in our bathroom. It looks great. The picture does not do it justice. It arrived in perfect condition. If you are considering this lighting fixture, I would encourage you to feel very comfortable with this choice.

The lamp is a thick porcelain which I like, it feels sturdy. The color I would describe as bronze not copper. On the plus side it came with a bulb that the description said was not included. The shade is what sold me and matches the design well. Overall I am happy with the product but disappointed in the color. Bronze goes with my color scheme but it doesn't pop out like copper would have. Just imagine what you see in the picture glazed in brown.

For me, this lamp is perfect in just about every way as a desk lamp. The height is just right, moves every way needed to direct the light right where you need it, the light output is just right for reading/working, and the light is focussed one direction and doesn't scatter all over the room. This lamp is just right, not bulky, focused, looks great and puts out the right light for the laptop or reading for extended periods of time. It does not scatter or backblast light, puts it just where you point it and this makes working for long periods very easy on the eyes. If you get this one on sale, grab it.

I bought this to match my Harbor Breeze versions that are in two other rooms. Big mistake, the Harbor Breeze versions are whisper quiet while this has a very loud hum in when turned on. I put it in the tv room but it is just too loud for any quiet tv watching so I will be switching it for the one in the kids playroom. If you are buying this to match the Harbor Breeze in looks you will be ok. If you want the same whisper quiet performance, look elsewhere because this thing is loud....very loud.

Caution! Caution! When the lights burn out the glass LITERALLY EXPLODES sending shards in a 3-4 foot radius. I've had the fan for about a year and have had two of the lights explode over the breakfast table. At first we just thought it was a fluke, but yesterday the second light exploded over dinner. I had to trash all the food as there were glass shards EVERYWHERE. DONT BUY THIS FAN.

This fan looks great. However, the lights that come with it are far too bright. And when it runs at any speed there is a loud humming sound, coming from the motor I guess. I can't have it on when I'm sleeping at night because it's that loud. I'm not overly sensitive to noises.... I even sleep with the radio on quietly. But that loud repititious humming sound drives me crazy. Don't like this fan at all.

I was looking for a fan that had a contemporary look with the track lights. I put one in my 16 year old daughter's room and my 8 year old son. They both love them. This fan is perfect. It is fairly quiet and has an expensive look to it. Not too difficult to assemble. My only complaints are the lights are very spot specific so you have to spread them out to illuminate the whole room and they are very bright. Second complaint is the limited color choices.

Westinghouse lighting 7850500 It's ok it's a copy of the Hampton bay . Westinghouse it's missing a decorative cover on the neck of the fan the wholes to attach the decorative cover are there , horrible screws that my husband had to get his own ,the manual is not clear on the connecting the cables , we love the fan. But installing it is much longer then the original Hampton bay fan ,the lighting 3 lights are movable so you could turn it on your book shelf , your pictures or paintings , You better be good with installing things ,otherwise you"love it

At the price of a cast-body pully, this set has the advantage of a removable sheave (the wheel the rope runs on). I don't expect to replace the sheave, but being able to take it off means that lubrication is easier & I can release the rope without un-threading it all; just pull the cotter pin and force out the axle.

Not exactly heavy-duty (I wouldn't hang a big engine on these) but priced right. I've got them hanging our kayaks over the car, for quick load and get-away. compared to a pre-assembled kit (Racor PHL-1R Pro HeavyLift 4-by-4-Foot Cable-Lifted Storage Rack) A set of these and some good-quality rope turned out to be a much less expensive, better alternative.
