The lamp was very easy to assemble and uses regular light bulbs if necessary. I chose to use 3 15 watt A-19 LEDs and it works great and very bright. Remember the long shade will dim whatever light bulb you put in it.

This lamp was easy to unpack and assemble. It comes in an amazingly small box and the rice paper just gets stretched into shape. Turned off, it looks great and blends in nicely. But beware the "natural" color! Most of my furniture and walls are off-white or cream-colored. I used three CFL bulbs (which, let's face it, most of us now use) and when I turned it on, their reddish tint combined with the rice paper lamp shade turned my whole living room bright orange. I had hoped for this to be my main living-room light but will probably use it in a back corner of some other room instead.

(Note: I bought mine "refurbished" at deep discount. Turns out, the cord between the lamp base and the floor switch/plug it comes with was completely cut. Apparently they had cut off the old switch and thrown in a replacement but not taken the trouble to splice the two together. I didn't factor that into my rating because I know it's risky buying refurbished stuff...)

this lamp is the coolest purchase i've gotten lately. the lamp is so detailed, i feel like i could pick it up and battle with it. i don't have a blue bulb in it, but the regular light shines so beautiful against the wall. the design on the shade is perfect when lit up at night. i am going to buy the other lamp for the same room because it is such good quality.

Lamp looks great and is a must for any Star Wars fan. Overall the paint and chrome looks good and the laser cut shade really compliments the piece. It is a medium sized lamp, it lights up a decent sized bedroom or office.

I needed a new bedroom lamp and I have been collection STAR WARS since 1977 so I decided I may as well get a lamp that fits into my collection. The shade is well made and laser cut perfectly the SABER HILT is life size and beautifully manufactured the switch for the lamp is smooth working. Overall it's taller than I thought which is ok because it spreads more light... I am really glad I got this cool lamp !

This fixture is very pretty when installed but the parts are fragile and of relatively poor quality.

The rings holding the crystals are very thin and many were bent open when the fixture arrived.

It took a bit of time to get it put back together properly. However, it is very pretty and the cost was reasonable.

I bought this for my son's 1st home and i am sad to say the quality is just not there. the shaft of the lights are wobble and where you screw in the light bulb is also wobbly. we have done everything to shore it up but this is not a good quality lamp set. i found better at wal*mart. :O(

I love the look of these lamps, but I had a problem with one of them. The screw at the top to secure the lampshade was glued shut. After numerous attempts, the plastic piece broke off and I had to use pliers to remove the screw. I was able to put the lamp together, but the lampshade isn't too secure. It wobbles a bit. Also, the plastic cap is now cracked. It's not visible unless you look up close, but I was a little disappointed.

Unlike the other reviews, my lamps are sturdy and went together well. The look GREAT and are a lot bigger than I expected. The ribbon edging the lamp shades is a bit crooked on one side, but I just put that side to the wall. Overall, the lamps are fabulous quality and style for the price paid. I would definitely purchase again. =)

I had this item on my wishlist for awhile, and while I liked it I didn't $115-like-it. Then one night I happened to see that it was listed at $22. I thought it had to be a mistake, so I waited a day. Checked back the next night and it was still just $22. Obviously I jumped at it! It arrived quickly, the box was a little bandged up by the lamp inside was well packaged. The lamp was packed very well. I found the assembly directions somewhat difficult to follow as instructed. The directions consist of primarily pictures and very brief wording. Once assembled it is very solid, with the light switch located on the power cord itself.

This product works as advertised. When you buy this product, you receive a transmitter (male) and receiver (female). It is pretty much plug and play in that you just need AC power available, connect to your DMX source and the receiver to your light fixture. I used this product for a wedding to up-light a room where guests were dining without any issues. I only wish that you could order the product in receiver pairs only as it comes with one transmitter and one receiver as a pair; if you keep ordering more, eventually you'll have too many transmitters.

I have two of these lamps and anytime anyone walks into my room, they gasp and go on and on about how gorgeous it is, and how I must have inherited my mom's talent for design (she's an award-winning architect and interior designer). This lamp is awful. If the look you are going for is "My first apartment and I can't yet afford a lamp shade" then this is it. It looks cheap, it feels cheap, and the light coming from it is harsh, as if there is no shade. "Put a smaller bulb" you might say. Yes, and have insufficient light. If this is going into a brighter room, as an accent only, it will look fine. I can tell you now though, I wouldn't pay $40 at the urban teenager store for this thing. If I just lived in a doll house it would be perfect... Where is Ritchie Rich when I need him?

BEWARE OF RETURN FEES. The lamps in person have a matte finish that has weird paint spots on it, reminds me of cheap "stone look" spray paint and are a much lighter brown. I think they oiled them down for the photo shoot. They also charge a $99 return fee on freight orders, not sure how large an order is before they consider it freight. I know it would cost me more $$ FEDEX to send these back than I paid for one of the lamps.

They have a note in the box that says you can return to the store, but don't believe that lie.

I have opened an A TO Z with AMAZON and hope that they will see my side of things.

Otherwise look elsewhere for your lamps.

Every time I look at this fixture I can't help but think it looks like a fixture I loved at Restoration Hardware. It is absolutely beautiful and has made a major difference in the appearance of the master bathroom. You just can't beat the free shipping either, which was a major incentive for buying all new light fixtures from the home from amazon.com

One thing to note: In the picture, the way it was presented on my screen, it looked like the frosted lamp shades had a ring of brushed nickel at the bottom. I wasn't sure about this and ordered anyway, which I'm glad about because it turned out that the ring around the bottom is clear, polished glass, which gives a gorgeous contrast and detail to the whole fixture.

The light looks fine although upon installing this light fixture, the screw-on rings (for the Satin Edged Glass) were VERY difficult to place. In fact, (even after applying vaseline) two of the rings still do not go on all the way leaving the Glass loose. Very perplexing!

We really wanted this lamp, but returned the first one because the connector between the two parts of the pole (that bump on the middle of the pole on the photo) wasn't threaded on both sides, and therefore would not connect the two parts of the pole. So we ordered a another, and it had the same problem, so we returned it, too. Then we gave up.

The lamp is beautiful with a very classic design. I found it easy to put together, and I expect to

have it for many years to come. This arrived in great form, and it was wrapped extremely well.

The only issue I had was the top piece was stuck, so I was not able to remove it to add the lamp

shade. So, I put the piece in the freezer overnight, and it came apart with ease the next morning

and I was able to complete the assembly.

What can I say, this thing looks and works great. We have a side entrance to our house that faces our street and is the easiest way in and out. Coming home at night it was often dark and leaving the light on 24/7 did not seem like a good idea. We wanted a motion sensitive light but needed something that fit on our house build in 1847. This light matches the other period lighting we have on the house. The sensor works perfectly, lighting up when people walk past on the sidewalk and approach our house but not when cars drive past. It has other nice features, like a dim mode where the light come on at 50% power the first 3hours after dusk. There are both motion and photo sensors and the light is fully adjustable for sensitivity. I can think of anything we don't like about this light.

We purchased three of these lamps. They are easy to install and set up and are functioning exactly as we hoped. I would give five stars except: One was defective and Amazon replaced it quickly with little hassle. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same problem (light would be just barely on when it should have been off). This time I called the manufacturer and they explained that it was a malfunction of a "bulb life extender" feature that applies a very low voltage so that frequent on-off cycles do not burn out the bulb so soon. They set up an exchange and we got a good unit. In the end, I would say that it was worth even this hassle.

We have owned a number of Heath DualBrite lights, and though we like the idea of these lights and the looks, the long-term quality has not been there. Whether it's patio or porch security lighting, our Heath lights have consistently lasted only about 2-3 years. It's the photo cell that goes out on them. We're frustrated because there isn't a lot of competition for Heath in this market. We definitely like dusk-to-dawn and motion detecting lights, but they just don't seem to be something we can count on for longevity. We are now into our 3rd Heath Zenith SL-4144-NB porch light. Call us STUPID for continuing to replace them, but we just can't find another brand's lights that come close to the type of light and decor we want.

It does allow someone sneaking up along your wall to get all the way up to it and unscrew the bulb. If someone is just casually walking in the backyard it will activate due to the 150 degree sensor angle. If only it was 180 degrees I would be in love with this thing. Looks nice, and works like a charm. Has been installed for at least 6 months.

We have been having security issues so we installed a spot light that has a camera in it.. anyway with that we have to leave the porch light on because the circuits are connected. I have been looking for a great dusk to dawn light that looks good and is affordable and this one fits the bill ! The only thing I wish is you could use the CFL bulbs but with it being a dusk to dawn / motion you can't which isn't a huge biggie pretty much I wanted to use my pink cfl for October ..lol
