The product was shipped more than a week after I ordered it, then it shipped to an unknown address in Seattle (I live in NJ). When I made this known to the seller, they shipped a second fixture to me in NJ, but they did it by the slowest method. I would have thought that since they made the mistake by sending it to the wrong coast, they would send the second one by expedited shipping. Because of this, the fixture didn't make it in time for my appointment with my electrician, and ended up costing me much more money to have it installed.

Then, when the fixture did get here one of the glass shades was broken. I will say that when contacted, the seller shipped me 3 glass shades, so I now have 2 extras.

The metal installation plate that is secured to the wall, to which the fixture is then attached, is very thin and flimsy. I found that I had to take the fixture down and put 2"x4" wooden reinforcing blocks behind it and put in several screws to hold the plate flat against the wall. Otherwise, the weight of the fixture with the glass shades pulled the plate away from the wall. Once I got through all the trials and tribulations (after weeks and months of waiting and reworking the install), the fixture does look nice as a more modern replacement to the 30+ old, tired fixture it replaced in the bathroom.

I will start off by saying that the look of this lamp is awesome! It matches my entire apartment (I have a small studio so not a lot of room). I have zebra bedding, black couch, zebra bathroom, etc. so this looks amazing next to my bed. Not only did this item "wow" me with the sound, as I was expecting much lower quality since I owned another speaker lamp a few years ago that was not made very well, but it also has many other useful functions. The instructions were a little confusing at first, but I was able to figure it out pretty quickly. It has a wake-up light that turns on when the alarm goes off. The alarm also starts off low and gradually increases until you shut it off. Although that might be useful for some people, I could do without it since it takes me a good 10 minutes to actually get out of bed, BUT even better is that at night when I'm listening to music, I can set the sleep setting to turn off both the music and the light when I tell it to. In addition, there is the USB port in the back so I can charge my phone right next to me while I sleep. Before this I had a lamp plugged in one slot,and an alarm clock in the other so had to plug my phone in across the room. This solved that problem. All in all, I would definitely recommend this lamp.

These look beautiful but they are made out of cheap plastic and way over priced for what you get. Hopefully the heat from the lightbulb won't warp it over time.

Very well packaged and received promptly, these went in a guest room. Fairly easy to install, except that screwing the lamp back on the connecting plate that screws on your connection box requires small seriously small hands to fit in the tight space between the ceiling and the screw and the petal-shaped shade. Otherwise, excellent and very modern looking!

This four light chandelier is well made and works as stated. I wanted a small light that was easy to clean. This one fit the bill and for a very good price. The fixture requires assembly but that was straight forward as was installation. This beautiful chandelier has been in service now for about 2 months and works nicely. It is comparable to fixtures costing more than twice as much. However, it is made of steel with a polished brass finish rather than being made of brass. The item was purchased as a replacement for a fixture that turned out to be too large for its environment and is of decent dimensions. I would recommend that prospective customers who like this design might want to look at the five light chandelier before making their purchase as it is somewhat larger in diameter as can be seen from the descriptive material.

The product was exactly what I expected. It was easy to install and looks great. We are planning to replace other fixtures in our home with companion pieces. The only "complaint" I have was related to the shipping. It arrived within the time frame we were told so that is not a problem. The issue I had was that the shipping originated in a suburb of the city in which I live, less than a half hour drive from my home. It was shipped to another city 100 miles from my city and then shipped back to our city to be delivered to our home. Seems kind of wasteful.

The stand is very lovely, heavily weighted at the bottom and just what I needed to hang my Moroccan candle lantern on. I tossed the shade and eliminated the electrical cord and voila!--a beautiful objet d'art. I love it! As I write my candle lantern is twinkling away. It may have made a nice lamp but my use is so much more original and classier!

First one had a cracked piece in the shade. Problem was it was in the front and at the bottom of the shade. Just bad enough that it had to go back. The packing was ok and there was no damage to the carton. The replacement has no cracks but the shade is no where near as nice looking as the first lamps shade was. I'll keep it but I wish the 1st one was not damaged. Needed Amazon to help me with the return to The Renovators Supply as they were not pleasant to deal with.

Lamp is pretty, but I did not expect it to glow and give a red aura to the room. Other down lights have a bulb encasement that prevents the glow effect. I also thought the cord would be encased in a rigid pipe, but it's just the exposed electrical cord. For the price, you can get glass downlights the do not have these issues.

i installed this product and it was simple to do it, except the item that goes into the fan. it was hard to put the fan back up as the receiver is rather big. used tape to hold it in place and that worked.

otherwise it is easy to control the fan.

I recently wanted to install a Modern Fan Company Ball Fan with a light kit in an older home that is wired with 2 wires. This would have prevented me from being able to independently control the light and fan. This was a perfect solution. What is unclear from the description but which was clarified by Modern Fan Company is that the receiver is included in addition to the 2 remotes.

In examining the fan I had I realized that I had a flat canopy and not the circular one which now comes standard with the fan (I had the fan in my basement for about 10 years). I contacted Modern Fan Company to find out if this would cause problems and was informed that it would not provide sufficient space for the receiver but that they offered a free replacement canopy and mount for exactly this reason and that I should contact my supplier in order to have it added to my order. I therefore contacted Del Mar Designs, explained the situation, and they included the additional kit.

This is the nicest fan remote control I have seen to date.
