I purchased this fan for a small bedroommaybe 9X13 in size? Installation was actually very easy. The fan weighs more than it looks but was still lighter than most larger ones. The installation kit was pretty much identical to any other fan and the install process was also the same except that the "light kit" comes preinstalled. Like several other reviewers I was momentarily puzzled about how the blades fasten to the motor, but happened to see the screwdriver slot on the underside of the light area. I wasn't sure at first if I was supposed to use it for fastening the blades, but I decided it would be easier than taking the thing apart. Ends up that's exactly what the slot was designed for. The only twist is that you must install the blades on the bracket before attaching the bracket to the motor unless you have access to the top of the blade after install. This is not possible in a low profile or direct to ceiling application.

My experience in real life with this fan was slightly disappointing. This thing looks like it would put out a nice amount of air, in reality it barely has any downdraft. I notice more air moving SIDEWAYS from the blades. (Not up against the ceiling and outSIDEWAYS from the plane of the blades. Very strange) The up/down switch on the unit does not change this. I was also disappointed to see the candelabra base bulb socket. Those candelabra bulbs don't last long. The first time I changed the bulb I accidentally dropped the bulb on the globe and broke the globe. The glass that the globe is made of is barely thicker than that of a lightbulbvery fragile. One other reviewer mentioned he has been unable to find a replacement globe. I also have been unable to find one.

I have a very small bedroom. This fan is very small and quiet, yet generates alot of air. The light portion of the fan could be brighter, and is candleabra base, which is harder to find. Over all I'm happy with it.

I installed one of these fans in my bathroom (which has a window) and it works great. I hooked it right up to the light switch so when the light is on the fan is on (or you can pull chain it). lightbulb was not standard and wouldn't accept a compacr fluorescent due to size.

That guy who tried to "separate" the fan just doesn't know what he's doing. I set this thing up FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS in about 30 minutes and it's an awsome fan. It's quiet and smooth and I 100% recommend it. I had some exta screws left over and the light is not very bright because it's a candelebra but still. . .4 stars.

I purchased this fan 5 years ago to improve ventilation in my bathroom. I live in the Caribbean where even with central air conditioning, it can still feel like a sauna after a cold shower! Unfortunately, like many of you I too experienced the globe shattering for no reason and for 2+ years searched high and low online and countless unsuccessful attempts to communicate with Westinghouse for a replacement.

Purely for cosmetic reasons, decided tonight that I was going to bite the bullet and purchase another tomorrow, 23 February.

However, I decided to try searching one final time (really don't want to replace a perfectly good fan just because of a broken light covering) to find a replacement globe and after an hour, found that elightbulbs sold replacement globes for this fan @ $5.00 each. BARGAIN!

Rarely do I leave reviews, but had to share this with all who purchased this fan in good faith and instead was cheated by a design flaw, with no solution from Westinghouse. Enjoy!

Received from another site, but still from the same company and I'm very happy with what I received. I bought them for my bedroom and they look great. Very little effort to put them together and were packed very well. I was nervous about the shades, but they were packed in a very smart way. I would certainly recommend, BUT beware, in order to replace a bulb you will have to remove the harp. Just no wiggle room to replace a bulb without removing the harp. Didn't try, but don't really think you could get a swirl (CLF) bulb in this lamp. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This looked like the perfect light for the bathroom. However, it was missing the instructions and the hardware to install it. I contacted Amazon because they were the seller and now I had no light to use in the bathroom. Realizing that they were out of it I was hoping they could have the manufacturer send me the missing stuff, but the options I was given instead were horrible. Get a refund and buy from a different seller. the time frame for getting the light could add 2 weeks. return it and get a refund( I did not need to contact them for that option) or keep it and they would take 20 % off. What good is 20% off of something that I can't use? The lamp for what it is worth looked nice but I am giving this 1 star for missing instructions and parts and Amazons response. I will say that they were very nice and professional.

The fixture was very easy to install. It is very bright, so much so that we decided to use only 2 100 watt bulbs and 2 60s. The angle of the individual lights helps distribute the light throughout the bathroom. Complements our other existing chrome decor.

I shopped for a long time to find the perfect "pendant type" light fixture for my dining room area. This is it!--One of my best purchases on Amazon because I feel it would easily be much more if you found it in a retail store. Initially when I took it out of the box I thought the "crystal" pieces would look a little cheesy, but once I installed it, they are very shimmery and are so pretty with the light on at night. I have it on a dimmer switch which helps the ambiance with the fixture even more. (Not sure if this is recommended, but it's working great.) I love that it has three bulbs because so many fixtures only have one or two and they feel a little dark to me when I really want to use it as a light source while doing work or homework. It looks like an expensive light and I have gotten a lot of compliments.

Initially, Wayfair sent me the wrong fixture. They quickly sent out the correct one without waiting for me to return this one. I'm still waiting to get the return labels to send it back, but their customer service department is very courteous and responds to emails promptly. I will buy from Wayfair again in the future.

Installed this above my kitchen table. Had been wanting to try a drum-shade fixture that was affordable. The "crystals" are plastic, so that is the biggest letdown but probably to be expected for the price. Overall, got the crisp, modern look I wanted.

I give this Laykor 50 Watt Floodlight fixture a 4 stars rating because I like the product. One of the problems I had was the packaging. It came double boxed and when I pulled the light out of the first box the light fell out the bottom of the box that it was in, falling to the concrete floor. I was worried that I had dammaged it but it is working fine. I guess this is a good test to see how durable it is. I have purchased 2 of these fixtures for the front entry into our condo complex affixed on the Marquees. The association likes all of the new LED lighting that I have installed out front. Bob

As a task light this is a great product. I particularly like the instant-on capability. Many of these you have to wait on the bulb to kick in after it flutters a couple of times--not this one! On the down side, the handle on the cover over the magnifier is difficult to grasp and hold. It should be larger or shaped better for grasping. The magnifier is not of great quality. It is difficult to focus close work compared to most other similar lamps we have used.

We are a medical practice and have ordered this model previously from another vendor. We did however receive this shipment with some minor damages, one of the wheels was broken upon receieiving our shipment. I will request another wheel or replacement light unit.

We had a Craftmade fan in our new home and it was painted all silver. We thought looked like a spaceship ready to land in our living room, which wasn't exactly the theme we were going for. After we replaced the old blades with these wood blades, it looks much better. One side of the blade is distressed, the other is not. We chose to put the smooth side down to match our wood cabinets. These blades fit our fan perfectly, even though the blades are a little wider than the original silver blades. They were fairly easy to install, but easier to do with two people. We are so glad we have a new look we can live with, without replacing the entire fan.

This new version of the itty bitty light from Zelco is improved in some areas but in others not as good as the familiar previous versions of the itty bitty. The neon light is just right for ageing eyes and the little recorder is surprisingly useful. Nice to be able to record a thought or something you need to do without putting down the book you are reading. But I find the limited range of motion of the light head prevents me using the light in all the ways I would like. It cannot be turned around backwards or raised up to a near vertical position so it has to be used clipped to the book rather than propped up by my pillow, and it is a little heavy. Magazines in particular don't support it well. The chromed clip reflects light back in my eyes but that was resolved with a piece of tape. A good light that could be a great light with a few mods.
