I live in a house on a large river. Pretty much ALL of our entertaining is done outside on the deck over the water. I've tried several other types of torches, and none of them lasted in the weather. Even the nice looking ones were cheaply made. These torches are sturdy and look fantastic. I will revise this if for some reason they don't last, but i would bet that won't be the case. These are a bit expensive, and they go through gas pretty quickly, but that is not enough of a down side to give them less than 5 stars.

great quality and just what i was looking for here in baja. they only mount into the ground, but i took to welder and had a 8x8 inch aluminium base made. now i can move where

I have had to send this back. While it is attractive, it is NOT (as other reviewers noted) Bronze looking. It looks like pewter with some copper rubbed into the creases. Both are lovely metals, neither are bronze.

From the glimpse I took of it, it really is a nice fixture for the price range. You can tell it is an inexpensive but it is still a HUGE step up from the fixtures that come standard from home builders. I would have kept it had it blended better with the hardware I have in my home. As it is, it is too close to other lighting in my home and would definitely appear as a black sheep in a white flock.

*I bought this after reading the reviews about the coloring. I thought "how far off can it be?" Well, it's pretty far off... I don't consider myself picky. I also had assumed (wrongly) that since the manufacturer was aware of the color issue that they would have corrected the problem. So if you are like I am, hoping others are wrong OR that the error has been fixed, don't click the buy button.

I was really disappointed with the quality of this chandelier. It doesn't sit straight, its lopsided, the metal arms aren't even and the glass shades are lopsided. I had to rig it up so it stays straight. It also looks kind of cheap when you look closely at it, which is a real disappointment because I bought the matching pendant and love it and am happy with it.

I wish I had paid more attention to the diameter of this lamp as it is MUCH larger than I anticipated. I had hoped to put these on the night stands flanking my bed for a little bedroom glamour, but it is too large for the space. They take a bit to assemble and put together, and honestly I may have returned them except the box was so huge and the assembly a little intricate (maybe 30-45 min) and the end result so stunning that I just found other spaces for them in my living area. But if glamour is what you're looking for I think this lamp wont disappoint. Just a note that the cups for the lights are glass but the small beads are plastic.

I shut of the breaker to see if the power indidcator light goes off when power is interrupted and it did as promised and then it reset its self to on when I reset the breaker. The bright yellow color stands out so there is less of a chance of running it over. Highly recommended for those who are safety conscious and appreciate an excellent,quality product.

Buy Central Machinery 8" Bench Grinder with Gooseneck Lamp

I was tired of not being able to grind or wire wheel longer pieces on my 6" grinder, since the wheels don't have a large enough diameter to clear the motor housing on most 6 inch models. So I went on an extensive search to find a decent bench grinder without breaking the bank. Most bench grinders of this size are selling for at least $80.00 and up to as much as four or five hundred dollars for a Baldor brand. I read a lot of reviews on just about every brand made today and I ended ,once again, here with the Harbor Freight model. Their website says the motor is a 6 to 8 amp, which may be a starting amperage draw. But the actual box it comes in states that it is a 5 amp motor which is probably the continuous amperage draw. It most certainly has more power than my 3.2 amp 6 inch grinder. It in fact has plenty of power.I actually purchased the 8" model without the light for under $50.00, but this one with the light is exactly the same, except with a light which I didn't need. If you do your own search you'll notice that many of the China made brands use the exact same motor and base, so most of these are made by the same manufacturer. It really doesn't matter what China made brand you purchase, they will often shake or vibrate a little, which is due to the wheels being out of balance. So you will have to get a decent diamond dressing wheel and true up the sides and face of the wheels. Once this is done you should have a pretty smooth running grinder. I worked on this one for 5 or 10 minutes to achieve this. These actually have a pretty decent rating on the Harbor Freight site,even in one business that has multiple ones in heavy use. And like any ratings you read you have to allow for the negative reviews some products get because the users aren't willing to due a little work to true up or tune a tool for use, and for those who just don't know how to use a tool properly etc., etc. The tool rests on these are pretty much crap so I threw mine out. I use a really nice Veritas grinder tool rest, that I mounted in front of one of the wheels, but you could certainly make a decent rest easily enough from some angle iron. The clear plastic guards work , but I find that they get in the way more often than not when grinding larger pieces so, I just wear safety glasses or a face shield. If you really have to do your own research then be my guest , but you won't find a better value on an 8 inch grinder than this ,especially when you apply their 20 or 25 % coupon toward the purchase. For example compare this grinder to the popular selling Dewalt. It sells for $127.00 and all it has over the CM one is a better tool rest, or the JEt model that sells for over two hundred dollars. It has better tools rests , a better switch and dust collection ports on the shrouds, which in my opinion aren't necessary. But as far as power goes they are virtually the same. If you really have to have the best bench grinder, then buy all means ,get a Baldor , but start saving today, cause you'll pay 10 times the price or more, for a new one, of equal horse power. And to me that just doesn't make a whole lot of good sense, since I could use that money for a good hand plane or other woodworking tool . Hallelujah ! Your search is over now, but be sure to purchase this directly from the Harbor Freight store where it sells for much less !

I purchased this product as a replacement lense for my work light but when I received it, it was slightly the wrong size.

I had to modify the housing to make it fit. Ordinarily, I would have gone elsewhere and tried again but these lenses are hard to find on-line and stores don't carry them. I can find replacement bulbs ... those are standard but if a lense breaks, you're out of luck.

The transaction itself went well. Prompt delivery, product was well packaged and arrived undamaged.

For Solar Lights they pretty bright but not super bright.

The light is mostly white with a slight tint of blue (Most LEDs are like this).

The light goes out about 10 feet on a pitch dark night.

In sunny CA the lights last at max lumes for about 6 hours & then slowly gets dimmer but it lasts all night.

Too bad the cosmetic designs are limited.

More base options would be better too as the six sided design does not match most posts.

The lamps (I bought a pair) worked fine for maybe 18 months, bright enough to show the driveway entrance, but the NiMH 4.8V battery pack didn't make it to the 3 years as claimed. I can deal with that, but to make the problem worse, no one (I searched the internet) has replacement batteries for it. There are 4 cell packs available with similar, or better specs, but it doesn't look like the connectors will match. I was hoping not to have yet another disposable solar light product, but it's looking like that's what's happening.

Note that the company now makes this model with Li-Ion batteries (not compatible of course with the older model). I hope the new one works better...

We bought three of these to replace our standard hallway "nipple style" lights. All three lights came packaged well, and with all the screws and parts needed to install. The metal portion is pretty weak and thin. Installation is pretty easy but I would not buy this again. The wires are pretty weak as well.

I purchased these lights for the dining room and entry way. My handyman accidently put one in a bedroom, it looked georgeous. I ordered more for every bedroom. They look fantastic. One arm swings out so you can take the glass off, my hm set them all up so that the swing arm faced the same direction in each room, that was very helpful to know when changing a bulb or cleaning the glass. The swing arm looks just like the others. I'd have given this 5 stars except one light quit working. The hm took it apart and said it looked like a wire had streched or crossed.

the fixture its self is wonderful..very nice looking. the screws they send you to mount it with are too long and stick out beyond where the silver color shows. you will have to cut them or try and find shorter ones that wont show when it's mounted. the mounting insuructions are poor also, if you don't know how, find someone that does.
