First this light can handle a 100 Watt standard base incandescent bulb which is painfully rare these days. Usually the fixtures these days can handle only 60 watts if you are lucky and 40 watt limits are becoming the new normal. A 40 Watt fixture is nothing but a plaything in my bathroom since I need bright light due to my diabetes. This light have two bulbs each of which can be 100 watts offering ample light. I brought two of them so I can have one of these lights over each of two sinks in my new bathroom. The fixture is self is well built with quality steel that is NOT paper thin. The design of this light is very well thought out. The shades are thick glass not the painfully thin brittle Made in China glass junk being sold today. The metal is carefully crafted so their are no jagged unfinished edges to cut yourself on. The light installs easily with little effort. The installation of this light was so straightforward that I did not need instructions. The two bulb light is most expensive because one light is usually not enough light, the three light version is likely too overpowering for most applications. The two light version is more expensive because; it is the best seller. Hey capitalism at work.

All things considered this is a most excellent lighting fixture for a basement, man cave, bathroom, bedroom or hallway. The shades are beautiful linen glass with clear accents at the top. The glass has some weird imperfections buy just add to the unique awesome nature of the lights. The electrical wires are nice and thick. I can find no flaw with this light so it earns five stars from me. I would buy this light again in a heartbeat since their quality is a refreshing change from the junk lighting products I usually see.

Very good looking. Easy to install. The glass shade give very good light transmission to brighten the room without using high wattage lightbulb. I also bought the 3-light set for the main bathroom.

I bought these intending to use them in my kitchen, but decided to put them in the bathroom instead. Glad I did! I replaced an old 1 bulb fixture with the 3 bulb, and the light output lets me see what color my towels are now. It's been in place 6 months, and so far, no problems with exposure to the moisture content of the bathroom either.

It's a very good desk lamp. Nice looking, not too bulky, provides a lot of light for reading textbooks, very adjustable.

Hope it lasts. I don't see any way to change the LED bulb, so I assume this lamp is done when the bulb stops working. The manual says "do not replace bulb". This was a surprise to me.

This was very easy to install (my second ceiling fan) if you are replacing an existing fan. It took me more like 30 minutes though (not 5), but I double-check everything I do. The motor is a little louder than I would like but for the price you can't beat it. No wobbling or strange movements whatsoever.

Edited 6/02/10: Motor loudness was cured shortly after I wrote first review...not related to fan and problem soft. Fan is so quiet now so I changed my rating to 5 stars.

First off, let me just say that once installed this fan is very nice looking, quiet, and I had no issue with it not being bright enough (I read this was a problem in reviews outside of Amazon). I don't regret my purchase at all. Unfortunately, the installation was a nightmare. I installed two fans this weekend. Both were Hunter, one was a "Five Minute" version and one was not. The only difference was that the "Five Minute" version has blades that snap on whereas the other had blades that screwed on. Start to finish, this fan took two hours and 21 minutes to install. Why? Because the screws Hunter provides are brass and more decorative than functional for key steps like hanging the bracket on the ceiling where you are supposed to screw three inch screws into a 2X4. Good luck. Both my fans had these same screws. I followed the directions and pre-drilled with the correct size drill bit. I was able to get less than 1/3 of the way screwed in before the entire top of the screw was completely stripped out.

I tried using a flat head screwdriver (it is the kind of screw that allows you to use either screwdriver). It stripped out.

It is pretty bad when I'm screwing in a screw with a flat head screwdriver and in a matter of seconds have sliced the top off the screw. I'm a girl and nowhere near that strong. I attached a picture of one of the screws. All four looked like this. Lucky for me, I had some nice quality three inch wood screws in my garage and was able to use those. I also had a lot of issues with places where the threading on the fan was off and putting small screws in was next to impossible because they too were the cheap brass and stripped out within seconds if I put any force behind them.

Aside from the really cheap hardware and the issues that caused, the fan is very nice and is a huge upgrade from the horrible, noisy one we had before.

We just put this fan up on Saturday and it looks Great and also it is Very,Very Quiet! I would like to inform you though that it does take longer than 5 minutes to install. And it goes a lot faster if you have an extra person to assist. I also want to give you a heads up that the blades are not solid black, they are mixed with a very dark cherry or brown & black the other side is more cherry. I have a black dining room table with a dark cherry top that this fan was going over so I wanted black blades but once the fan was up the blades (picked the black/cherry sides) look black so I still ended up loving the look of the fan. As a preface, I have installed many ceiling fans over the years. This fan has some innovative design, but is of average quality overall. For the price, I certainly recommend it.

Some of the features of Hunter fans, do save steps and time. However, this 5 Minute Fan claim is nothing but hype. Even Hunter states that the installation of the mounting plate is not included in the time. I would also subtract such unnecessary steps as taking the fan out of the packaging, reading the instructions, going up and down the ladder, grabbing needed tools, and screwing in the bolts.

Watching Hunter's video, people are literally standing on the floor, hanging an assembled fan, screwing on some wire nuts, and snapping the fan blades on. I wish it were so simple.

Hunter is doing itself a disservice with this ridiculous 5 minute claim, and needs to get back to reality. They produce a decent ceiling fan, with a few time saving features. Leave it at that.

Truly beautiful ceiling fans. We bought two, for our frog room over the garage which has been turned into my oversized studio space: the room has Pergo laminate floors in rainbow colors! The dominant tint is blue, but there is some red, yellow, gray and black in the too... funky and beautiful: when I saw these silver/gray ceiling fans I immediately bought them and they look PERFECT in that room. As easy to put together and install as all other standard ceiling fans--work great, look awesome.

Just remember: this fan package does not come with light bulbs, and it has only the On/Off mode for the light--no dimmer-to-brighter levels.

I ordered this for my tween's bedroom and it's beautiful. Once you get all the crystals on it becomes a little heavy so I would suggest to install the light fixture first and then put all the crystals on. Directions were a little disappointing since it was just a picture but it's easy enough to understand. It looks stunning in her bedroom and she really loves it. After much debate, I decided to purchase this little chandelier for my entryway. I wanted something that was not too over the top, but gave the entry a more formal and classy feel. This product delivered on the job. It's just right for an entry, a bathroom or a bedroom. It might be a little small for a dining room table area, I was originally interested in a flush mount, because my ceilings are not very high.. But, this was adjustable and I was able to get it close to the ceiling without a problem. It looks amazing, and I spent the first day just looking at the sparkly glow it leaves on the wall.

The crystals were solid, beautiful and sparkled like crazy. Once put together and hung, it was more amazing & beautiful & it was very elegant for its size and its price. My husband was also even was impressed by it. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor instructions and terrible hanging hardware. The hanging pieces they included also showed no direction on how to go about using them. They were very long pin heads but I was able to manipulate them and made small hangers for my crystal pieces, It was not hard to do once I figured out how to go about it, so, the lack of instructions all in all I took 1/2 star off. Otherwise, 5 stars all the way!

Stunning!!!!! Beautiful chandelier! Perfect for a small bedroom. We have low ceiling so we cut the chain shorter. We installed the light fixture first and then put all the crystals on one by one. No directions, but it was very easy to figured it out. It took over half hour to put all crystals together. It was well packed, so nothing was broken or missing! We highly recommended this product.

This light is modern and gorgeous. We put it in our dining room. We have a dimmer switch on it, but when turned up enough to brighten up the whole room it is glaring.
