What more do u need if you're looking for what is pictured? The Ceramic base of this should tolerate the heat from any reasonably sized incandescent/halogen flood (which runs HOT) as well as CCFL's & LED bulbs (which run cool!) The wire cage is sturdy and doesn't get bent out of shape easily, the wiring is solid and the clamp holds sturdy. I bought 2 more!

I bought this for a small (8 x 15) room with dark wood 8 ft ceilings. This is my formal living room. I have searched for 3 yrs for the perfect formal low profile ceiling fixture. Everything about it is top quality, except the underneath is transulucent plastic (so you cant see the bulbs. I may take the plastic disc to a glazier and have a thin peice of seeded glass (to match the finial) cut to fit.

UPDATE I RECOMMEND USING LOWER WATT BULBS THAN THE MA ALLOWED DUE TO THE FABRIC SHADE. Or, if you must use 60 watt, dont leave it on for long periods of time. I notice a slight browning of the inside fabric at the point where the bulb tip was closest. Luckily caught it in time. I also switched to shorter (applianc) bulbs 40 watt. ive had several compliments on this since installing it two years ago.

OMG! I ordered 2 and put them up last night. LOVE THEM! Great buy. Not your large box store purchase and not what eveyone one else has in their homes. Two of them provide enought light for a 15 x 25 room. I think one would provide enough light for a small bedroom (10x15). I was happy to see that it was solid and well made. This flashlight works great, runs cool. I used it for plumbing under a sink, plenty of light, not quite a flood light but it has good beam spread. It ran 3+ hours and then I used the battery in the drill with no apparent end of charge. LED's should last almost forever so you never have to replace the bulb.

I have couple of other LED flashlights to compare it to and the 160 lumen output seem fair.

This is a well designed light, which I find useful in many situations. It can light up a small area of the desk in front of me, or it can light up a wall 20 feet away. With the adjustable head and the rear pull-out hanger it's easy to get light where you need it. Very little drain on the battery. Highly recommended.

I modded this with a 450 lumen LED bulb:

I had to modify the bulb housing a bit, but altogether not that hard. The beam it produces is a wide flood with an intense long range spot. Battery life still seems like forever. Now I could not be happier.

I could have bought the xenon bulb version of this flashlight and done the same thing, would have saved money.

I expected a LOT better from Milwaukee, especially for $60.

This flashlight is easily outperformed by the $10 LED variety that take regular batteries. "Decent" would be stretching it for light output.

Yes the battery life is great, but that's really just a matter of the battery being great, NOT the light. Well, I suppose if you consider how dim this light is then I suppose that contributes to long battery life.

Here's a suggestion Instead of just one level of output (Low), have multiple. That way users can decide if they want dim light all day, or lots of light for few hours, or something in between. The batteries charge in 30 minutes so your not SOL if you run out of juice (plus you probably have more than one battery on hand anyway).

If you absolutely must have a flashlight that uses M18 batteries, and if the light output of a disposable is enough for you, only then can I recommend this.

I bought this LED Worklight as an extension of the M18 set I already had. I figured, since I have two of those rechargeable batteries, I might as well put them to good use. And I have to say, this is by far the best and brightest lamp I have ever owned.

It puts out a bright cone of light of about 90° and the head of the lamp can be rotated to different angles.

It was already a great help during a repair under the sink: just put it into the cabinet, light facing up and had plenty of indirect light to do everything. Even when looking for something in the garden at night it's phantastic. The grip/handle is nicely shaped and the on/off switch is like a trigger under your index finger.

Ok, this is a LOT of money for a flashlight, but the fact I can use my Milwaukee batteries on it, and it uses very little power, is super bright, and can contort itself into any useable position in any situation, makes it well worth the money. Since's it LED based, there should never be an occasion to need to replace the "bulb". Sorry Edison!

Easy to install (if one already has outlets from older light fixtures); color and shape match well a wood deck; the shade cuts substantially in the harshness of fluorecent lamps, resulting in a pleasant light, almost the color of incandescent (a lamp of decent temperature, 3500 deg F or less, helps). The product as it shows in the picture is not accurate. That picture is stretched to make it look longer than the actual item. Additionally, very, very BAD packagingbubble wrap is TAPED to cellophane that surrounds the lamp! When I received it and unpacked it from the very tight box it is shipped in (of course to minimize expense to them in shipping), the cellophane wrapping around the lamp had been taped to the bubble wrap and was wrinkled in many places, torn and some loose just handing off the lamp.

I contacted the seller immediately to return it and they only responded with wanting me to pay for the return shipping costs to them and actually had the nerve to want to charge me a 10% restocking fee for it as well! I filed an A-Z warranty claim on this one and am demanding a TOTAL refundand having them send for a company to pick-up their damaged lamp.

Be very wary of this seller! I am sure the rest of the items they sell here are the same! NEVER have had this type of experience buying something from AMAZON or through AMAZON before!

Been looking for a couple additional lamps like these but for a bedside table, so the nightlight feature is important. I bought a couple at Home Depot years ago, they work fine, and now my Mom would like a pair for her house to put in her bedroom. I replaced the incandescent bulbs with colored LED bulbs in the base and compact fluorescent bulbs on top green LED & CFL for one and blue LED and CFL for the other as my wife believes in Feng Shui and green is "healthly" and blue is "peaceful".

The LED bulbs have lasted 7-8 years now, and cast beautiful patterns on the walls and ceilings through the cut glass base. Plus they don't bother me (always slept in the dark before getting married, but my Vietnamese wife always slept with a couple lights on in the bedroom). When your eyelids are closed, they filter out the blue and green colors, only let in reds and yellows as you can tell merely by closing your eyes in daylight and noting the color.

The LED bulbs provide plenty of light for dark-adapted eyes to navigate to the bathroom, or in my wife's case, spot 'ghosts' emerging from the closet :). I suppose ghosts are neither healthy nor peaceful..

I had a very difficult time finding nice brass fixtures that weren't too gaudy looking. I love the look of this; but I think the box had the wrong size bowl because the legs stick out about two inches past the bowl--not like the photo. I sill like it better than any other I found.

This is one of several Nuvo fixtures we have in our house. it looks just like the picture a large, boxy metal and fabric light fixture. This is not a petite fixture! The product dimensions are in the description, so I knew how big it was going to be, but I was still surprised at exactly how large the fixture was when it arrived almost a cube once installed. The small arm that wraps around to the bottom is slightly off-center, making alignment of everything not quite square, but it's hard to tell from the ceiling. For the price, I'd buy another one if the need came up.

Although this fixture looks quite gorgeous online, you just wouldn't believe how ugly it is in real life. It's one of 3 things I've EVER returned to amazon but this thing, oh it's just so cheaply made, looks like it came from the dollar store and the color. Golly! It's the color of Georgia clay when it's wet, smeared with some chaulk-like substance. Since it's made in China, who knows what that "substance" actually is! Ewwww! Save yourself the hasslelook for an antique online if you're into reproduction fixtures. This one is just miserable!

It isn't exactly what I expected by looking at the picture, but for the price, it is pretty. It was a little bit of a challenge installing as the screws were too long and I couldn't find shorter ones to fit at the hardward store (not the normal thread size) so I had to be creative but otherwise, a nice fixture.

This lamp is just what I was looking for in a small accent light for my living room. I had two surprises the first time I turned it on. The first surprise was minutes after I took it out of the box and packaging; I plugged it in and after a few seconds all the lights in the neighborhood went out. Nothing to do with the lamp Boston was experiencing the [first][and hopefully last] blizzard of 2011! The power lines were affected by the heavy ice and snow and the high winds, Very dramatic.

The second surprise was the two levels of light. Since the power was out I turned the switch; thinking it would be better to have it off when power was restored.
