Great clamp light. One of the few on the market that has NO shadows whatsoever. Protects the bulb from breakage too. Would give it five stars if it had an ON/OFF sritch and a tad longer cord.

What more do u need if you're looking for what is pictured? The Ceramic base of this should tolerate the heat from any reasonably sized incandescent/halogen flood (which runs HOT) as well as CCFL's & LED bulbs (which run cool!) The wire cage is sturdy and doesn't get bent out of shape easily, the wiring is solid and the clamp holds sturdy. I bought 2 more!

Within the last several weeks I've purchased a dozen different lamps to use on a modified plant-growing system. This product is on par with quality, durability and spring-clamping power. I don't like that the bulb outlet is porcelain. It made this product difficult to drill waterproof for my specific purpose.

The clamp was missing. I would like to have had this product because it was much sturdier than the one I ended up with; however, it was the only one in stock. I had to return it.
