I liked that the shades looked creamy white, not yellowish-orange or bright white like so many other vanity lights. However, when I first installed the light bulbs that came from my old fixture (clear 40W bulbs), it completely changed the look of the shades and they looked very yellowish-orange. I was a little panicked at first, but then I simply replaced the bulbs with 60W soft white bulbs and got the creamy white look I was looking for. It calls for three 100W bulbs, but since we installed this fixture with the lights facing down over the mirror/sink (rather than up toward the ceiling), 100W bulbs were WAY too bright. Since there is only one view of this light provided, I was unaware of the detail on the lamp and will post a picture showing somewhat of a side view so others can see the detail where the shades attach to the base. I was a little unsure, seeing that no one had reviewed the light yet, but we are happy we took the chance and ordered this light fixture.

On a side note, this vanity light was shipped from Wayfair. We initially received the wrong light fixture, but Wayfair was quick in responding to my email and sent out the correct fixture immediately. They arranged for FedEx to come to my house to pick up the first fixture and I didn't even have to print a mailing label or anything...very easy exchange process.

It was so difficult to insert the glass that, even tho i was super careful, I broke one of the glass pieces. Yes, i could leave an opening on the far side, but now leaves, etc. will find their way in.

This French Garden Outdoor post light was described on other web sites as thin and difficult to put together. I had my doubts about the lamp but was thrilled with the style. Taking a leap of faith I ordered the post lamp and in a few days it arrived. The packaging was first rate. Lots of foam and wrapping guaranteeing that the parts would arrive in one piece. The lamp was easy to assemble. The glass panels were snapped into place the top installed and we were ready to put this lamp into place out side. The metal construction was surprisingly strong, especially since I had read some negative reviews else ware. We are so pleased with the lamp that we are ordering the matching house lights.

These look beautiful but they are made out of cheap plastic and way over priced for what you get. Hopefully the heat from the lightbulb won't warp it over time.

Very well packaged and received promptly, these went in a guest room. Fairly easy to install, except that screwing the lamp back on the connecting plate that screws on your connection box requires small seriously small hands to fit in the tight space between the ceiling and the screw and the petal-shaped shade. Otherwise, excellent and very modern looking!

After reading the reviews, I gave this thing a try. It's loud. It has a deep noise to it. I've done everything I can think of to secure it and get rid of the sound. I think it is just a loud rumbling unit. There are times when I don't turn on the fan because I don't want to wake my wife up.

Also, cutting the hole for the fan unit doesn't allow for much error because the white plastic doesn't cover much more than the housing unit. I was really close on my cuts but still have some cuts showing that I'll have to fix. I would have been more precise but my last fan (Broan 655) had a lot of give.

The other thing is that if you look up at this unit, you can see everything inside it. Not a big deal but it's just the way the cover is shaped. It doesn't conceal the inside pieces as much as I think a fan typically would.

The night light is nice. The light works well. The heater and the fan work well. The heater is only moderately noisy at best. The fan is loud. I would not order this again because of the noise. Overall, I'd say I'm happy with it because it's not stuff that makes me unhappy or angry. The things works just fine. But I'm giving it 3 stars because of the noise factor alone.

I knew from the reviews that this was going to not be a quiet fan, but it is really LOUD. I actually have 2 in my bathroom, one above the shower that is a light/fan and this one with the heater/light/fan in the middle of the room. It's nice having the light and the night light function, and the heat and fan work as advertised....the heater will heat up my bathroom toasty warm in a matter of 5 or 10 minutes, and the exhaust fan pulls all the steam and moisture out of the air. My only complaint is the heater and fan are really annoyingly loud when they are running. The other fan is so quiet you can't hear it running, but this one makes up for it!!!

The switches were supposed to be rocker switches not toggle switches as described on the website and I am very peeved as this is

This is a cute light kit (although the picture is misleading -the domed cover plate is not included), but will NOT work with all ceiling fans as advertised, and LAMP PLUS will NOT pay for the return. In fact, they argued with me repeatedly when I explained that there is no way to attach it to my Hunter Original fan, which has easily accepted two other light kits over the years. Then they just stopped responding to my emails and ignored me. So I had to waste my time and money to send this large-ish box back.

Make sure your ceiling fan will accept this type of single nipple light fixture, or, better yet, buy something from someone other than Lamps Plus.

This chandelier is very pretty. Although the color is a bit more yellow-ish than shown and it doesn't come with that top "base", I'm satisfied.

I was VERY skeptical about purchasing this light and attaching it to a fan, but it ending up turning out beautiful.

I bought an inexpensive fan and used this light kit to make it beautiful. The only issue I had is that the color is an cream color, opposed to white, but I guess that is called "antique white" and my ceiling fan I purchased is bright white. In the daylight you can notice the color difference, but if the light is turned on, it does not look bad or different colors at all.

My husband was a little frustrated with the installation. Because the light kit did not come with the ceiling fan it was intended for, it took a little longer to install, because the directions were not clear. It took hubby about 3 hours to install the ceiling fan and the light kit. Mostly, time spent, re-reading directions and organizing parts and supplies.

Got this yesterday and when I opened it today everything was okay. It doesn't have screws to attach the plate to your junction box, nor does it come with light bulbs. I used 8/32 screws for the box, and the bulbs are regular base screw in types.

It goes up easy enough and looks good. The color is more wrought iron black in my opinion. The light shades are pretty heavy duty and I think they really add to the appearance of this light. I put in the equivalent of 60 watt bulbs and it was just right for the 1/2 bath this went in.

These work in my Martin EFX 600 lights, they fit and work nicely. DO NOT TOUCH these bulbs with your hands, the oil from your fingers will make these burst when they get hot.
