We bought the 48 in. fixture for our master bath a little while ago, and we were so happy with it we bought the 36 in. model for a guest bath. Both fixtures, imho, have the look of uncluttered, simple elegance.

Both orders arrived quickly (though one came with a broken alabaster glass bowl looked like it got clobbered in transit but the bowl was quickly replaced, with no hassle), and installation was a snap.

Very pleased, overall.

Absolutely beautiful! Bought it for DD's bedroom, adds so much elegance. However, color has a yellowish undertone and crystals are pink, clear and a bluish-purple. Would've been happier if crystals were only pink and clear but still very gorgeous. Positively no regrets and highly recommended. Bonus: very easy to instal to preexisting ceiling fan and I know absolutely nothing about electrical hardware!

We decided to use a "shabby chic" theme for our daughters nursery, but knew that we wanted/needed to have a ceiling fan in the room. The Pretty in Pink Chandelier light kit looked like it would be the perfect addition, so I ordered it and the shipment came very quickly. I was impressed with it immediately after opening the box. It was exactly what I hoped for and the image online truly represents the real product. My husband installed the kit himself (with just a little help from me), we agree that the directions were clear and installation was easy. It almost makes the ceiling fan disappear! Everyone raves about the chandelier and it is my favorite part of the room. The Pretty in Pink Chandelier light kit helped to make the nursery almost perfect... we are just waiting for our little princess to arrive for total perfection! (She is due 1/1/11)

We LOVED this light fixture as soon as we saw it in my local Lamps Plus store but they wanted $249 for the fan and THEN $100 for the light kit and the sales rep assured us that it HAD to go together and you could fit the light kit on another fan. Well, we read other posts about people buying white fans and making it work and painting the kit to make it match. We found the perfect fan that had the same light cream color and some distressed marks so it matched so well. The fan cost $89.00. So, if you love the light kit and dont want to spend the money on the fan that matches it, then we got our fan from Lowes and it is the HarborBreeze "Lilly Ray Ceiling Fan" Just know that you should have a tall ceiling to hang this as our Lilly Ray fan and the kit was 26" and our chain is a little too low but do able for now.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Enough light too for us.

I am extremely dissapointed and angry in the fact that the picture on the site has the canopy attached to the ceiling. You would think that you get all parts shown. It does NOT specifically state that the canopy does not come with the light. I am not happy that I have e-mailed for help and it's been weeks and still they have not sent me return information that I requested numerous times. They also were not helpful in sending me a canopy.

This chandelier caught my eye when online shopping for a low priced yet simple and elegant fixture to go over my dining room table. It arrived promptly and was double boxed, so there was no shipping damage at all. Once the box was opened I realized I needed 6 candelabra lights and a down light. I made 3 trips to the store for the correct size bulbs, probably because I didn't see clear specifications as to what size I needed. (My husband and I purchased the correct sizes on two different trips to the store on the same day, so I have one more trip to make.) We also had to purchase additional chain links to lengthen the chain, because we hung the fixture from a hook on a cathedral ceiling and the electrical box was farther away than the chain that came with the light. Once we took care of those small chores, we had the lamp up in no time. What with all the handling as we checked bulb size, etc. there were quite a few fingerprints on the glass bevels, so we will have to take it down once more to hit it with some glass cleaner.

For the very reasonable price, we received a very nice lamp that we enjoy using. We just had to make a few tweaks to get it ready to hang. (I should mention I was in the local Goodwill store earlier this week and saw a similar lamp for sale there. It never occured to me to shop for fixtures like this at a second hand store, so if you are looking to save some money, don't forget this often overlooked option.)

We had a lamp just like this one...well almost. It was the same type...candelabra base bulbs with and r-20 downward pointing flood or spot. Ours was rounded, not angular like this one. It had to be the same manufacturer. Our earlier lamp used a longer chain as I was using a ceiling junction box that was not located over the renovated kitchen island. I took the opportunity to install a new box directly over the island and as a result I had more than enough chain. I paid less than $60 for the lamp for prime delivery and really it is a good value as that is concerned. Essentially we use just the downward looking lamp to light the island, until at our choosing, we can illuminate the kitchen very brightly using the candelabra bulbs...which comes in very handy. But it is way too bright to have on for general use. It's nice because the lamp hangs just above eye level when you are standing and as a result of all the glass, it really does not get in the way. When I finished hanging the unit though...I noticed that various elements were slightly out of alignment requiring pushing and prodding and bending to have its appearance look even. Pretty much the nature of the beast with the way the unit is constructed and we are satisfied with the end appearance. This is not a $300 work of art...but it looks good hanging in our kitchen and we are happy.

Not only is this exterior lamp beautiful, it works wonderfully. I have a rather enclosed front porch that is somewhat dark during the day and other lights would always come on too early. This light has the proper settings to work perfectly, even in my darkened front entry. I installed a 15 year high efficiency bulb and am very happy with it. The light goes on at dusk, brightens if someone comes up the walk, and turns off in the morning. Great buy.

I've had this light for a little over a month now and I love itI actually bought a 2nd one as well. It has a very elegant look to it so my wife is pleased too. When installing it you do need to take into account that the light sits lower than most lights as it is on the bottom rather than the top. This is especially important to note since the Motion-sensor for this light is on the top side and depending on how high you install it to compensate for the light being lower you could potentially block out some of the close range of the motion detector.

The one heads up I would give about this light is that the globe is not "frosted" the way that it looks in the pictures. Instead it has bubbles within the glass.

The light does what it's supposed to do and is very easy to install. It took me about 10-15 minutes from start to finish including adjustments of the sensor. I have it set to medium high and for me that is the perfect balance. As soon as I get out of my car on the driveway it picks me up from the porch and I haven't got any false motions on it yet that I've noticed.

I'v had three of these lamps installed on our home for four years. I just purchased a fourth lamp to install on an addition. The finish is top notch and i have not noticed any wear or rust in the 4 years i have had them. The glass is not pictured well in these photos. It is really just clear glass with a few small bubbles here and there. So you do need to install a nice looking bulb. The sensor is at the top of the lamp so it does not sense downward angles as well as it would otherwise. However, you can rotate the sensor module from left to right to customize the area of motion detection. It is also imporant to remember that motion sensors work best when you cross their field of view. Walking straigh at a motion sensor is often not enough to set it off. This is a fact of how motion sensors work and not specific to this model. One final note, the base of this lamp is large and rectangular. If you are replacing existing lights and you have siding, you many need to also replace the peice of wood/vinyl that is the decroative surround for the lights as this base will overhang most round peices. This wouldn't be an issue for people mounting the light on a level surface. My fourth lamp was purchased from PlumbersSuppy thru Amazon. They advised 6-10 days before it would ship but i received it 3 days after ordering. I am very pleased with my transaction.

1. My concept of wrought iron is not the same as the manufacturer. This is just metal.

2. It is not black it is scratched up black.

3. Quality control is not good. One bottom finial would not fit and I had to make my own adjustments. When I called customer service they accused me of damaging the product.

4. The instructions might as well be in Chinese. How about larger type and more step by step instructions. A separate instruction sheet is included with devices to hold the glass in place. Trouble is there are conflicting instructions depending on which side of the paper you read.

5. You need x-ray vision to line up the mounting screws with the holes. If they were design smart they would have formed the entrance to the holes with a funnel-like entrance to help guide the screws. You need a lot of luck and don't get impatient.

6. Finally got the two I bought installed and they WORK!!!

You will be disappointed if you want wrought iron. These are silver metal with black paint brushed on (like fake antiquing), then they are covered with a clear coat. They are big (see dimensions in the ad), and should hold up well to the elements. I really like the motion detector and auto shut off capabilities. Mine come on when someone approaches the steps to my porch. My son says we should be living in a castle with these.....LOL
