I loved the lamps but had a problem with the shades in shipping. We tried twice but bad luck each time so I sent the pair back. They were very nice about it. The lamp is beautiful but I didn't like the fact that only a 3-way bulb, (30-70-100) can be used. I wanted the lamps for the end tables in the bedroom. I think anyone who ordered them would enjoy the lamps very much.

The lights are great and arrived sooner than expected. We set them up in our car port and they give just the right amount of glow and soft light that we needed. The only recommendation I have is to hang up the cord first without the bulbs in. The bulbs are very delicate, more so than regular light bulbs.

Good value. These lit up my back yard quite nice! Each bulb has a plastic clip like Christmas lights sometimes have. My lights (50' 7watt green cord) did not have an end to end electrical connection.

We hung these on our terrace about our patio, and it added the most elegant night time touch. They provide a great deal of light for entertaining, and look very italin draped through the terrace area. We have gotten lots of compliments, and have really enjoyed them. The bulbs & the strand do not come attached. Be prepared to screw in all 50 bulbs. It wasn't bad though, and I can understand why they did it for shipping purposes. It just may take you a few minutes to assemble.

Don't waste your money on these fixtures, particularly on the aluminum versions if you live near saltwater. Instead, buy one of the brass LED versions of this fixture, e.g., 15764BBR. The brass LED fixtures are not that much more expensive and will quickly pay for themselves in maintenance savings. Note that if you have an electronic transformer, you may need to upgrade it to a transformer compatible with LED fixtures.

It is VERY difficult to find: (1) an outdoor light that is (2) approved for use near water and (3) unobtrusive while being (4) bright enough to illuminate a walkway. Did I mention that it also needed to be (5) affordable? This light fits all of those 'bills'.

Though the brochures show this as being mounted on a vertical surface, I mounted mine flush with the deck of a bridge. The housing is secure enough that It doesn't pop-off when I'm sweeping snow, and well enough designed that rainwater drains away without shorting out the system.

Yet the housing is also incredibly simple to remove when I need to change the bulb. The only advice I would give is that if you're going to mount this such that it is at the line-of-site level, the bulbs provided are WAY too bright. I had to drop down from the 25w clear halogens provided to 5w frosted halogens to accommodate road traffic 50 feet away.

Regardless, I am thrilled, thrilled, thrilled with this product.

We love the light. We installed it horizontally at first but found that the height we had it at caused the light to hit us right in the eye. We switch it to a vertical position and it solved the problem. We were concerned that the halogen bulb would produce too much heat but that has not been a problem. We looked at a lot of lights to install in our newly remodeled transitional bathroom. The Ayana is perfect. It has the modern look we were going for but it is not too stark. Our decorator loved our find. It arrived quicker than it would have if we had ordered it through the local lighting store.

I installed this chandelier in an afternoon. Although the instructions aren't the greatest, I was able to follow them and I was replacing another chandelier, so some of the items, like the hanging bar in the electrical box, was already installed, which made things easier. Everything fit together well, with no rough or unfinished surfaces. The hardest part is opening and closing the steel links of the hanging chain having 2 vice grip pliers definitely helps for this unless you have a lot of arm strength. It does NOT come with the 12 candelabra bulbs required, so make sure to stop off at the home supply store and purchase these before you hang it up. Your bulbs must be under 60 watts/bulb. I installed 40 watt bulbs and it was plenty of light you probably can get by with 25 watt bulbs if you don't have a dimmer switch installed. Good value although I see the price has gone up a bit since my purchase. If you need a fairly inexpensive, classic brass chandelier for a dining room, you can't get much better than this for the money. Save the $$'s for your furnishings no one will know you didn't spend $1000 for a fancy chandelier.

We were keeping looking for a lamp for my daughter for a while until we saw this one. I read those reviews and then decided to take a chance. But after we got the item and tried a few days, we found we love it. It is a beautiful design. The head is flexible and can go whatever direction for reading. The light from it is perfect for reading. It can be turned on and adjusted by sliding instead of flipping a switch. Anyway, it is a very good product and we are happy that we digged it out from a bunch of products. We will get another one for my son when he grows up a little bit.

I always look for a good reading light for my kids to protect their vision and this one is a perfect fit. The lamp is compact and looks futuristic. The arm of the lamp is adjustable to different positions and you can even twist it 90 degrees to each side. The level of light can be set to dim or bright by just touching the button. The dim light is good for working on computer and bright light work fine for reading books. Overall, it is a great product. My kids love it and I feel comfortable that their vision will be better protected using this lamp.

This is a quite nice small lamp, well constructed and of pleasingly modern design. I use it to light a small, two person dining table in an otherwise dark corner of the room. It provides lots of light, yet does not dazzle the eyes. It would be good, singly or in pairs, on a hall table or sideboard. It is controlled by a switch on the cord, which might be a problem in some locations.

I loved the appearance of this banker's lamp, most of all the white shade. But alas, when the light is turned on, the glare is fierce. After weeks of trying unsuccessfully to adjust to the level of glare, I resorted to buying a spray-on opaque paint, and spraying both the underside of the shade and the outside with several coats. Finally, no glare. Unfortunately, the lamp now little resembles the one I purchased.
