We love the light. We installed it horizontally at first but found that the height we had it at caused the light to hit us right in the eye. We switch it to a vertical position and it solved the problem. We were concerned that the halogen bulb would produce too much heat but that has not been a problem. We looked at a lot of lights to install in our newly remodeled transitional bathroom. The Ayana is perfect. It has the modern look we were going for but it is not too stark. Our decorator loved our find. It arrived quicker than it would have if we had ordered it through the local lighting store.
