I live in an apartment that does not have a light fixture above the bathroom mirror. I wanted a light fixture that could mount on the wall above the medicine cabinet and plug into the nearby outlet without any substantial installation into my landlord's drywall. This lamp is perfect.

There is a transformer on the end of the cord (which may crowd your outlet if you have another appliance with such a transformer). This means the fixture itself is light (but it feels very solid). I drilled one hole, put in a drywall anchor, screwed in one screw with 1/8 inch of the head exposed, and hung this little lamp on the screw head. It has a slot on the flat back for exactly that purpose.

At first I felt like the light was too bright with too much glare. But then I pointed it towards the ceiling. The back part of the shade is a hemisphere of metal with many little holes. This perforated material faces down towards the sink, and the open end of the shade face the ceiling. In this arrangement, the lamp gives off great light, nice and bright, but with no glare. It is almost as nice as if my bathroom had a high quality light installed above the medicine cabinet in the first place.

The cord has a switch on it, which is pretty close to the lamp base--so that I have to reach up to turn it on and off. The switch is the kind of plastic casing in line with the cord with thin plastic wheel protruding from both sides. This is not my favorite kind of switch, but this is such a great light fixture for the purpose that I am thrilled.

Be forewarned that the metal gets very hot and can burn your fingertips.

I purchased this light for a wall in my home office, and it does the job stylishly. The craftsmanship is reassuring, and it looks just as great under close scrutiny as it does from a distance. The small switch on the underside, while not essential, gives me peace of mind: as soon as the base leaves the surface that'll otherwise press the switch (wall, floor), the power is cut and the (hot) light turns off.

It gets bonus points for being dimmable and coming with a relatively-easy-to-install rotary switch that can be positioned at any point on the power cord. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This five drawer chest of drawers is exactly as described on the product information page except each drawer is lined individually with fabric. This chest of drawers looks exactly like the picture displayed on the Amazon.com product information page but if you look very closely you can visibly see the fabric just inside the open faced handles. I personally believe it is a very beautiful piece of furniture and I am glad I went with the five drawer unit instead of the four drawer unit. The fifth drawer and the individually lined drawers add an air sophistication to this "Cabinet Storage Chest".

I got this and the other shorter chest to put in the bathroom and laundry room for some storage. They were a perfect choice. They are not something that will last to pass down to your grand kids, but they are lightweight, sturdy and presentable. I would definitely get these again at the price.

I purchsed this item for my daughter as a gift. When we receive it, the top of the box was smashed in ( this was done by Federal Express). We loved the quality, look and size of the chest, but it was severly damaged when we received it. I contacted the seller, who asked that we send pictures of the damaged product. We sent pictures, and within a week we received another chest and they asked that we discard the damaged one. The new chest we received was perfect. The only negative experience with this product is that the shipping company (Fed Ex) should be more careful. I will difinitely order from this company agaim. They were prompt and courteous with replacing the damanged chest and the quality of the chest was very good.

If you have a small space and are looking for a chest of drawers, this isn't a bad piece. I was a little disappointed in the material. It's a bit flimsy and the quality could be better. A small area on the bottom drawer is discolored, but it's inside the drawer. It arrived very quickly. I've ordered from this company in the past and was pleased with my previous order. Just thought this could be a little nicer but it serves the purpose.

I purchased this chandelier after viewing what felt like hundreds of possibilities. I replaced a thirty-year-old brass and glass fixture that was outdated. This fixture has completely transformed and updated the look of my formal diningroom. It matches the mahogany wood beautifully and the look is gorgeous. As usual, Amazon delivered it quickly, at a very competetive price, and it was packed extremely well. The glass is fragile and arrived in perfect condition.

My hysteria came in trying to determine the equivalent amount of wattage to use with the new bulbs being marketed. The fixture I replaced used six, 40Watt incandescent bulbs. There was no way to determine whether to buy the model with three, 60Watt Xenon bulbs, or go for the same model chandelier with five, 60Watt Xenon bulbs. I spent at least two hours researching online and calling different agencies trying to learn the equivalent light outputs of the newer bulbs as compared to the incandescent bulbs we are all accustomed to using, which are now disappearing. I was finally told that these Xenon bulbs are approximately 20% brighter than the equivalent incandescent wattage. I therefore replaced the 240Watts of incandescent light with 180Watts of Xenon light and it is perfect. Also note that unlike halogen bulbs, Xenon bulbs may be touched by the installer without shortening the life of the bulb.

This light and camera work exactly as described. Purchased on Amazon for $78 w/ free shipping. Motion sensor works up to 40-feet, and the 100-watt halogen bulb lights up just like any other light you'd find at your local home improvement store. Add to it a convenient security camera and you've got a great product.

Pros:

1) Works as advertised.

2) Disregard silver_diamond2007's 1-star "review" and youtube video about interference with wifi. When I e-mailed him whether or not he changed broadcast channels on the unit to avoid interference with his router, his reply was "How do you change channels?" Sigh... All that time to write a negative review and make a youtube video, and no time to READ THE MANUAL to resolve the problem. This light has 4 broadcast channels, which can be changed on the light by removing the rubber cover on the light's bottom side, and moving the switch. I tested it, and channel 2 interfered with my Linksys G router, but channels 1, 3, and 4 had no problems at all.

3) The video does not "washout/whiteout" when it's dark and the floodlight suddenly turns on.

4) The camera also transmits AUDIO.

Cons: (why I removed 1 star)

1) There's no mounting gasket (as other lights have) between the wall and the back of the unit, so the elements can get seep in behind. If you're installing it on a flat surface, it isn't that big a deal, but stucco is a different matter. Either way, I'd put a bead of caulk around the edge to keep the elements out.

2) There's a dial to adjust the sensitivity of the photosensor, but there's no dial to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor itself. The instructions say to adjust the position of the motion sensor, but that isn't always an option for your application because you'd be changing the angle of the camera too.

This is the coolest thing I have purchased in a long time. I didn't attach it to the house like instructions say. I attached it to a board, wired a male 3 prong plug onto it, used a hook on the back and now I can put it anywhere an extension cord will reach. I hung it by the Hummingbird feeder,and now I can watch what's going on outside on my TV! At night I can hang it anywhere that I want a security light and camera. I was looking to replace my back flood light (motion detection) that stopped working. I wanted to add a rear camera to my security system and merge the two ideas together. I could not locate a twin 100 Watt standard flood light camera system anywhere that used a wireless transmisson. I called just about every company out there and there are all discontinued. So I settled with the Cooper Lightning MAC100W. Out of the box and working was approx 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent finding the right circuit breaker to kill the power and opening/destroying the box for recycle. That's how easy it is to install. You will need silicone caulk to seal the unit to the mount plate and it does STATE that in the instructions. However Cooper does not supply a foam or weatherproof gasket. I recommend using the wire nuts supplied and using electrical tape on your connections to make it safe.

PROS:

Easy to install if you a replacing a current flood light that is already wired.

Camera is clear during the day and fairly wide angle so you can see enough of an area. NOTE: It is not hi-def. It cannot zoom, pan ot tilt.

Set up of the wireless receiver is easy. Plug in the A/C adapter to an outlet. Connect the RCA connectors to the TV or DVR, tune to the correct input, turn the switch to on and poof.

Motion detection is easy to set-up. Testing setting makes it a snap.

Audio is decent.

Camera is always on (day and night).

Does not interfere with my WiFi network or 5.8/6.0 Ghz wireless phones.

CONS:

Marginal light with only 100 Watts of power. If you need lots of light, this unit will disappoint you.

Video feed does roll from time to time. There does appear to be some interference when my son is playing his Wii.

No night vision capability. If it's night your picture will be black unless something moves and turns the motion light on.

Camera and motion detector are not independant of each other, meaning they are in the same housing so they must aim in the same direction. Not a real bad thing, but worth mentioning.

Adjusting the length of the mounting studs that hold the unit to the mount/wall takes practice. Test fit the unit before you apply caulk. Once you have the correct stud projection through the unit, tighten the lock nuts to keep the studs from turning. Then you can install the white decor nuts that hold the unit up. I recommend small #8 stainless steel lock washers with your set-up. You can get them at a local hardware store or Home Depot. Remember to factor the lock washers into your stud projection.

Other than what is listed above, I recommend this product. I was able to feed the video and audio into my 16 channel Q-See DVR and I'm able to view it on my iphone with MEye app. It did not interfere with my other 2 cameras and wireless systems.

I had to remove 1/2 a star since it did not provide sufficent light to illuminate my backyard like the twin 100 Watt standard flood light I had. I realize its half the power rating. The other 1/2 star was due to the rolling video from time to time.

This light was not what I expected. I expected a light about the size of a halogen light and made of light plastic. This is a rather hefty light and made of metal(if not it is very very heavy plastic.) and seems well constructed. It gives off a lot of light. It might not suit my needs because it is so bright and gives off that typical fluorescent glare(in other words not a soft bright light). I wanted a light for my scroll saw finish work so I could be sure I wasn't missing varnishing any of the fine cuts that I make. It certainly would be good for working around the car and working in those spots that good lighting is unavailable so I am keeping it even it it doesn't meet my original goal. The company put an order form in for additional bulbs and they seem to be reasonably priced and being fluorescent, they shouldn't need to be replaced that often. There are a couple of places that sell the light cheaper on the net but by the time you pay shipping, it is a wash and Amazon.com has always been great with customer service.

What else can I say about these besides they are BRIGHT and efficient. Oh, the build quality is top notch too. They are a bit pricy, but I can foresee these lasting many years which is a good investment to me. I will be ordering more of these in the future.

This is a better unit than virtually all of the fluorescent worklights out there. And you pay for it. But on the whole it is worth it. At 65 watts it throws out a lot of light with very little current draw and minimal heat. However, it is not nearly as bright as comparable halogen based lights (of course they draw a ton of current and produce a ton of heat). So, I bought one of each type and find that each has pluses and minuses and both are used regularly in my shop. It's a good item that I am very happy with.

I bought this lighting without knowing exactly what it would look like from the stock photos. I've since added what they look like installed for me.

The install went on without issues. I used the standard remodel junction boxes. There was way more cord than I needed, so I trimmed it down. Pay attention to the coloring of the wires and their labeling if you need to do this because the labeling will be trimmed off. There is a white stripe to connect to the white/neutral, a greenish/off-white to connect to ground, and no stripe on the wire to connect to black/hot.

The pictures just don't do these pendant lights justice. The effect that the light inside of the mesh creates with the glass surround is great. It throws some neat light onto the ceiling with our shorter hanging distance. Very impressive.

I purchased these lamps for a guest bedroom. I didn't want to invest a lot, so I decided to order these two brushed nickel lamps. The postage made them slightly over $60. I had purchased some lamps that I love at Walmart for about the same price, but thought I'd try the ones on Amazon.

I was very disappointed. One was cut on the base. The brushed nickel is actually a thick paint. The shades were very difficult to get alligned. They were crooked and looked awful until I did a lot of twisting and turning and bending to get them right. Once I did, they were okay, but I've never had to work so hard to get a lamp to look decent.

All in all, I was not satisfied, but with the shipping being so high, I just didn't want to return them. I'm keeping them and remembering to NEVER order 2K lamps again.

Installation is not quite as easy as other fans I've installed there are 3 rubber grommits for each fan blade that are a pain to get in, but that's the only (minor) complaint.

The fan is so quiet I'd almost say it's silent when running as slow speeds. The slowest speed seems slightly slower than other fans, but that's fine by me when you want to just move the air a bit without really feeling a breeze.

The base is quite large and is a little too bulky for my taste, but does cover any ceiling imperfections near the box well.

It's not a bright white, more slightly off-white, which is fine as most ceilings are not bright white anyway.

Ordered this fan using my Prime account. Arrived on time and had it installed in a couple of hours. Lots of assembling (blades & blade arms, blades to motor, light fixture to fan assembly, etc.) Simple wiring for my single wall switch. Extremely quiet, with good lighting. Small wobble when fan is set to high speed, but medium is perfect for my use, which cools a small office room. It replaced an older, cheaper Hampton Bay and it is so much better. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to most. I'd have given it 5 stars if not for the high fan speed wobble.

This fan is whisper quiet, moves a lot of air, is perfectly balanced, is very attractive, and the price is excellent. The blades are supposed to be cherry or oak depending on which side you prefer. The Oak is very dark and someone with very light oak trim or cabinets or other accents would be wise to check on other possible fans or blades from Hunter. I would like to have gotten a parts list so I could purchase extra globes should one ever break. Finally, the electrical use of this ceiling fan over older models, such as the 20 year old fans I replaced, is about about 50 % less. I bought 6 and couldn't be happier..

Hunter Fan 53089 (white) with light option.

This three-speed fan is attractive. Mounting bracket and canopy at ceiling are nice and small. The glass bowl for the light has a pretty speckled frosting and provides soft lighting that is good for entering the room. Your room will need other light sources, like lamps, in addition to this fan light.

Fan runs silently and, at the two low speeds, is totally steady. At highest speed, fan wobbles a bit (minus one star for this). I didn't bother using their balancing kit. The highest speed is quite a blow and I don't need but the two lower speeds for bedroom.

Packed with both a standard and a short downrod, the standard rod was perfect for our 8' ceiling as it deployed the fan blades the required 7' off the floor.

Installation guide, diagrams and parts list are great. Packed well.

Overall fair value at $100. The box labels the fan as "Builder Deluxe" and that's about the right category for this decent fan.
