When we moved into our house in 1991, I asked my architect how I was supposed to change the recessed lights (floods) in the high ceilings. He told me that he would hire an electrician. I found this vac-a-bulb device in some gizmo catalogue somewhere and ordered it with two extentions. It has worked great, but now after 20 years, the vacuum has died. I was delighted to see that they are still available so that I can order a new one.

This is my second one of these bulb changers. The first one I had for about 10 years, before it gave out. I was pleased to find a new one on amazon, and use it often -it is the best type of changer I have ever used.

The color of the shade is much darker than what is pictured. I was expecting an off white or beige, but it is more like a latte or medium brown. However, the quality is great and they are easy to install.

This is a whimsical, pretty floor lamp in what used to be called bridge lamp type. It sits 60 inches from the floor and fits nicely by the easy chair for comfortable reading or TV watching. The craftmanship is quite good, the 4 pieces fitting together with screw-together joinings, effecting a solid shaft appearance. Easy to put together. I am very pleased with it. The packing was solid, using styrofoam and a lot of strong tape. No defects or damage.

The lamp was super easy to assemble. It has very good weight so it won't fall over.

The flexibility and positioning of the head is excellent.

I would have liked the magnifying glass to be 1"2" larger. Nevertheless it is a good size.

Nothing real fancy. We bought this light for our first floor powder room. Looks good, great color, matches perfectly to our other oiled rubbed bronze fixtures.

Cheap UMA 58817 Brown and Biege Resin Table Lamp

I had seen the lamp at a department store and looked online and found it much cheaper at Amazon. The lamp box arrived like it had been on a shelf for years, very, very dusty. After unpacking, i found three or four of the circles in the box, no longer stuck to the lamp. Rather than send it back, I used hot glue to glue them back where they came off. After repairing, I have it in my wet bar area and it looks very nice.
