This is a whimsical, pretty floor lamp in what used to be called bridge lamp type. It sits 60 inches from the floor and fits nicely by the easy chair for comfortable reading or TV watching. The craftmanship is quite good, the 4 pieces fitting together with screw-together joinings, effecting a solid shaft appearance. Easy to put together. I am very pleased with it. The packing was solid, using styrofoam and a lot of strong tape. No defects or damage.This was the perfect lamp for my Guest Room that features Dolls and Toys from my childhood. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was also reasonably priced.
