The color was a little darker than I expected and not as glossy, although when the lamp is on it appears much more like the picture...but still darker, and more light blue than turquoise. The shades (I ordered 2) are a tad bit dented, but I just rotated the dented areas to the wall. I think the price is a little steep, but the style and color are perfect for my bedroom, so it was worth it for me. They are lovely little lamps...my husband likes them as well.

I purchased 2 of these lamps. I love them! One thing wrong about them is they chip very easily, one of mine came chipped and when the Orange paint chips it's white underneath and looks tacky. I have had these lamps on either side of my bed with matching Orange pillows. I loved them! I don't have these any longer as my "modern" phase was overlooked by my always love for rustic/moose/bear etc. theme. But these are great lamps!

We bought this light for its turquoise color as needed a match for our family room. Buying a "used" light for around $16.00, so well worth the money. I would suggest if you buy "new" you may be disappointed. As the base and shade are very small, indeed the overall size is rather underwhelming. Check sizes in the description to see if this light is right for you.

I had originally ordered one of these lamps from a major retailer. It was a little pricey, but it was perfect for my daughter's room. When it arrived, my daughter loved it, so naturally we decided she needed a 2nd one. The problem was that the major retailer had no more stock! So, I Googled "Viko Table Lamp" and found it on Amazon.com. AND, it was nearly HALF the price of the first one I bought. Amazon's lamp came in perfect condition, looks great in the room, and I saved money. Does shopping get any better? I don't think so!
