We bought a pair of these Lite Source Lamppost Outdoor Wall Lamp for our home in South Florida and have had no issues with them for 6 months now. They look as good today as they did when we took them out of the box. Worth the money for the quality they offer.

The earlier reviews are correct. Seems like decent design & quality, despite being made in China. Installation went OK, no surprises. I'll update this if any durability problems arise, but given what I see of it so far, I don't expect quality problems. I see out on the web that the full list price for this light is pretty high. I'm still knocking off 1 star because the price I paid here, while a lot lower than list, is still on the high end of what I think actually went into this product, given that it is made in China. So, 4-star for "value". For China though, ignoring the price, this is a pretty good product. How I miss the good old days when pricing was more directly correlated to quality. Nowadays, you cannot dare buy anything without seeing multiple reviews first from real people. Also, IMHO, now that Amazon has real market power, they seem to be going for the "4-star value proposition", whereas 5 years ago, they were usually 5-star for value.

Pretty and practical lamp. Shipped quickly, arrived safely and installed in a jiffy. It looks great and is real s.s.--I put a magnet to it without sticking anywhere. As we live in coastal Florida, I'm hoping this lamp will last more than a year before rusting. All stainless should do the trick.

Bought five of these to replace the junk outdoor lamps that were initially bought for new construction. We already have a larger version lamp of the same style so the decision was made to keep the same look. Another plus is the fact that these fixtures are suitable for wet/damp locations (cannot remember which). Stainless steel housings are a no brainer. The first (different style and make) lamps rusted out within a few years.
