So far so good. I installed this with a new fan. Its pretty simple to install, just need to figure out which wire goes to the light and which one goes to the fan.

As someone pointed out, the remote is kind of bulky, but I'm ok with that. It fits into my hand perfectly, and it being a little bigger makes it harder for it to get lost.

We did have the light turn on once in the middle of the night. Not sure if that was just a fluke or if there is some sort of interference at play, but its just been that once in a couple weeks.

Searched through a lot of remote fan/light switches before settling on this one. Wanted something that would cover both "holes" from a prior 3-way light installation. This did just the trick, and I can take the remote with me into the room if I want to. Do note that the dimmer does not work with CFL light bulbs, but not a problem for the fan I installed.

The remote for this product is square and bulky. Not at all what is pictured. The product itself works well but I am still disapointed with the remote. I sent a request to get the photo changed on this product awhile ago and I wasn't going to write a review. It still hasn't been done so the following link is the type of remote this one comes with. Our living room fan hangs from a twenty-five foot ceiling. To change the speed you had to have a ladder. Needed the ladder one last time to install this unit, but no more ladder now. Nice that it comes with both wall switch and remote. Good value and works great.
