We purchased this light to replace a wall light over a small desk in our kitchen. It looks great with the rest of the torino collection we have through the kitchen/dining area and I plan to purchase them for our bathrooms and a hallway!

The installation wasn't as easy as other bathroom lights we have purchased, but I think this had more to do with the box in our wall. We ended up having to purchase different screws to make it work, maybe a better option would be for this light to come with multiple lengths of screws.

We also loved the versatility of this light. As I stated, we purchased it for a desk area, it is a great bathroom light, we have a hallway we plan on purchasing one for (maybe the 3 light version) and you can place this light up or down facing!

Review of Laura Ashley SFG916 Classic 16-Inch Pagoda Shade, White

This shade is a 16", which I thought was height--but that was width. I need a 16" high shade, not 13" high.

So I would appreciate diagrams when shades are offered to know where the dimensions actually exist on the shade.

The shade uses high quality materials and the price is an a testament to that fact. However the craftsmanship is disappointing due to puckering at a corner causing two sides to show wrinkles. I have to corner the lamp to hide the sides. I buy online all the time, ar and I am seldom disappointed with what I order. If I could have found a red pagoda shade locally, I would do that before buying something this delicate, sight unseen. Quality materials and good shape, just a error in pulling the material around the corner, but I feel quality control should have pulled it or it should have been labeled at a second.

I purchased this item to light a corner of my living room that is fairly dark. I do not have room for a table and lamp so when I saw this item I thought it would be perfect in the corner.

It was extremely easy to assemble.

The quality was much better than I expected, especially considering the price.

It lights up the corner perfectly.

I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anywone.

The lamp is attractive and sturdy. Easy to assemble. The seams in the pole do not match perfectly, but I haven't noticed them since I put it all together. Overall impression is good.

This lamp arrived packaged very well, so I sent it out of town as a gift. When the recipient received it, they held on to it until the next month when they moved into their new home, with the lamp still in the package. When it was finally out of the box, it sat crooked with no apparent way to adjust it and too late to exchange.. So I took it with a smile to "exchange" and bought them another lamp that I could actually see before I bought it. The lamp went to Goodwill. I won't do that again.

This medallion is rich in color and very detailed. It was so easy to install because it's so lightweight. No nails just used Loctite adhesive for polyfoam products. I've gotten so many compliments on this!

This is, without question, the best lamp I have ever had for close up work, crafting and reading. I can adjust it to just about any height and angle. My only regret is that I didn't find this lamp sooner!

pros: really nice heavy base, sleek look

cons: the top joint loosens up very quickly from the wieght of the reflector and you cannot tighten it by hand. You have to use a flat head screwdriver and you have to be careful not to strip the plastic bolt. The quality of the light is overrated! This bulb flickers more than I've ever seen.

For this price, I would certainly not recommend this product to anyone. You can find many similar work lamps with nice heavy bases and the much more versatile type a bulb socket. You can get just as good or even better quality light from a daylight spectrum cfl or led bulb. Ottlite also offers their own brand of cfl bulbs which I currently use in my tattoo studio. I recommend those.

this is another poorly made lamp with critical flaws. The big flaw with this lamp is the crane arm. The arm itself is solid but the joints where the lamp bends are seriously weak and no matter how much you tighten the elbow knobs the crane arms fold with just a mild touch...

I would not recommend this lamp or the Koncepts Z lamp...Both of this lamps are very poorly designed

Very pretty light, good quality, the colors are not same as shown on picture. It is more of an olive tone green and orange. It may be that all lights vary but still nice. Good if you have an area that needs lighting but not much. It is more of an opaque light and not very bright but works good for my area. Due to the color i would not purchase again as i prefer a pink type of tone.

What an absolutely exquisite light. I give it 4 stores only because it throws very little actual light. Two 40 watt bulbs under all that dark glass doesn't make a bright room. Also, it was described as pink and blue. It arrived and was green and orange. Sounds ghastly I know, but it simply gorgeous. The dragonfly's eyes are round orange orbs that just glow in the center of all that stained glass. Really lovely.

I bought this for a bedside table. It's fairly well constructed and serves it's purpose well. I think there's enough light to read by, but haven't tested that. I didn't have much time to shop for it as was a replacement for one that broke just when company was coming. I am very satisfied.
