The instructions are just ok. They have both pictures and words. But the layout could have been better. The fan itself is made of good solid material nothing cheesy or skimpy on it. My only nitpick is where some of the attachment holes are for the screws are in a inconvenient place for someone with large hands working overhead it might be difficult. But overall this fan is fantastic.

I'm buying one of these for each of my enemies this Christmas. It is maddening to install. Instructions are difficult to follow. Screws are small, hard to maneuver into proper holes, & holes on blade mounting brackets, while threaded, had been painted so screws didn't turn in smoothly; required a lot of pressure. Blades attached over your head after motor suspended from ceiling with hex head screws for which they give you a tiny Allen wrench. Too little room to get an electric driver to screw head. And, it takes 3 hands to hold blade & place screws. Entire process took hours & was highly frustrating. I've installed other ceiling fans before. They were much easier than this. Not recommended.

Looking to improve the A/C in all the house without lower the thermostat setting, this fan proved to be the right selection, silent without the need of special wiring as the remote control allow just to replace the ceiling light for it.

Just a tip; installing it without the extension pole, the highest speed doesn't move air. Anyway the 4 inches of the pole doesn't make a big difference.

This fan arrived when it was promised from Amazon, and was relatively easy to install in about 1.5hrs. I have 7'8" ceilings in my bedrooms and this fan works great for these rooms, churning enough air to cool and not making me duck when i walk under it (I am 6'3")!

I would recommend this fan to anyone with low ceilings who need a flush mounted remote controlled fan.

Installed in properly sized room but: Moves very little air, high speed is med/low speed for a Hunter or Hampton bay, wobbles (even after adjustments) and has harmonic noise generation. face it, I was completely fooled when I purchased this. The only prior negative feedback was that remote electronics could bearly fit in housing.

Shame on Amazon to even sell this piece of junk!
