I replaced a Yard Light on the rear of my home with a Designers Edge 70W Dusk to Dawn Yard Light.

I found the light to be well built, weather sealed and very simple to install,

The light is mounted 12 feet above ground level and lights and area about 100ft by 100ft with

direct lighting and ambient light covering almost twice that area. Perfect for my yard and not shinning in my neighbors windows.

I'm guessing mounted higher direct lighting could cover almost twice that area.

My dogs luv it for now they can "See 2 P' " and spot Bunnies to chase at nite, anyplace in the yard.

Amazon not only beat the best price I could find local by about $15 bucks,

but gave me "FREE SHIPPING" besides.

I rate this product at 5 Stars, my dogs give it "4 PAWS-UP"

We had to replace one of the security light on our church. I checked Amazon and found this fixture. It arrived quickly and installed easily.

Since I have an 8 security camera system and now with these lights (one on each side of the garage) no one wants to come into my garage area or even up to my front door at night. These lights are even much better then the street lights.

I light up no only my house but the house across the street. He no longer turns his lights on at night..

Light worked fine for about 2.5 months. Now it stays on all day.Would have it repaired if I knew were to refer my problem.The company will not respond.

I purchased this light, and failed to notice , the light would turn off for periods of time, since I work the night shift, and my window to return to amazon expired, before I was aware of this problem. I tried to contact designer edge by their phone number, number no longer in service, by e-mail no reply, this light is poorly designed, and would not recommend to anyone.
