liked the lamp, but VERY disappointed to see that the lamp shows '40 watt max' when the listing clearly states '100 watt max'. that's why I ordered it, I need to use a 100 watt bulb!!!

This lamp is okay, but do read the dimensions because it's a small lamp. It's the size you would put on a bureau just for accent light and not big enough for an end table for in-bed reading. It has a nice base, nice design/style and the shade is fine, too, but please bear in mind that it is less costly than other similar lamps because it's smaller.

The lamp is beautiful but the shade is more of an ecru that white. I didn't like it as well as it gave an almost dirty look to the shade. Would have preferred pure white.
